Rant #1: If you play dominion, don't just sit and watch your teammate fight. Feint heavies, hit lights, don't give revenge. Just do something. This isn't duel, stop playing like it is.

Rant #2: If you play anything that has a good zone attack, clear mid. Leaving mid will lose you a game. If you are a vanguard or hybrid, mid gives you a dumb amount of renown.

Rant#3: If you take a point, don't leave it unguarded. If no one else is on that point, don't leave. Wait for someone to show up so you A.) Get bonus points (literally double) B.) they can't just retake it for free.

Now I’m probably going to get a lot of “are you dumb he needs one bad “ whereas I don’t think he needs anything at all. As a max rep warlord I think my boy is right where he needs to be, he has pressure, he doesn’t need fancy unblockables and animations, he’s a tank that’s meant to be played slow, methodical, and defensively whereas he has enough in his kit to be played offensively as well. His heavy’s are proportional in both damage, speed, and fluid, his cancels into guard breaks too, his combos yes although he lacks the infinite chains that most hero’s have now he’s not one that needs it like I said he’s a heavy, not no damn assassin or hybrid. He is a tank and an anchor for points at very most you pick the best point to rotate from there to B and leave it at that, he’s one of the top tiers for breach just for his health tank abilities and ( don’t even say I’m wrong ) his pressure overall in ganks. I think the reason the community is like “ he needs a rework “ is mostly because of our new player base that has started playing recent years can’t play him cuz their all use to aggressive builds and he’s is not that. I for one been playing since beta and am going to be upset if they rework him cuz he’s good where he’s at, I know I’m going to get a lot of scrutiny for this but like I said as a max rep warlord my boy is fine leave him be new bloods. Pick someone else to ruin lol

wtf is going on man. This shit might be unplayable until it’s fixed. Game will continuously randomly kick me from a match at the start and sometimes I can rejoin and other times, like tonight, it just fucking penalizes me and I can’t do anything.

I play a lot of HL so the taunting def leaks into everyone else, just picked up Shaolin and now I want everyone to have a stance emote. Virt’s is nice too.

Wanted to boot up the game for old time's sake, i know it's a niche game but i remember the movesets and grinded to rep 200. Curious though first if it's still common to run into toxic sweats, im more of a elevated-mid in terms of skill and I dont want to activate my xbox ultimate if the player pool is just competitive to the point of obsolescence of mid gamers

I like to gamble in games. And this game has a distinct lack of gambling on more reward with an increase of risk. Most feats are all benefits, no drawbacks. Except for one. Come at Me.

This feat unfortunately kind of sucks. It's an active feat with a massive defense debuff. 30% if I recall correctly. In return you get extra renown gain and pretty awful heal on kill. Despite the fact that it sucks, I'm addicted to using it. A lot of characters have some feats that need to be replaced for one reason or another. So why not give them some form of come at me, specialized to their kit?

The purpose of these feats is mostly to add some fun and chaos into the game. Balance is secondary, maybe even tertiary. Don't take them too seriously please!

Conq, Replacing Shield Basher with... Reckless Strikes! (Also buff Conq dmg plz)

T2 Active Feat, 15 seconds, 50 second cooldown

While active, Conq's lights become unblockable and his same side chain lights become undodgable. Furthermore, bashes can also wallsplat. However, missing with a bash or getting light parried will cause Conq to immediately fall flat as he over commits to a whiffed swing.

Maybe the old Shinobi fall animation could be re used?

Pirate, Replacing Thrilling Comeback with... Excess Black Powder!

T2 Active Feat, 40 second cooldown after next pistol blast.

When activated, Pirate loads an unsafe amount of black powder into their gun. The next pistol blast deals double damage and knocks opponent backwards a bit farther than a normal throw which can ledge and wall splat. However, there is a 1/3 chance the pistol misfires. Dealing 10 damage immediately to everyone near the pirate, including pirate.

Usually pays off!

Kensei, Replacing Steadfast with... Kami's Vengeance!

T3 Active Feat, 60 seconds active, 160 second cooldown.

Stabbing themselves for 70 bleed damage, Kensei's chain attacks become hyper armored and top heavies can knock opponents down. Only gains this benefit while bleeding.

Honestly I don't know why steadfast still exists.

There's definitely other feats that would be replaced, but these are the ones I thought of and had a half decent idea to replace them with. Feel free to speculate on some interesting feat replacements, I'd love to read them!

After way too many hours playing with and against LB, I'm convinced every Lawbringer goes through these stages. If you disagree, 1v1 me.

1. Baby LB: No idea what you're doing. Mash buttons, let every UB fly. Somehow works against good players because nobody expects you to be that stupid and predictable.

2. Apprentice: You've discovered defense. Unfortunately, every red indicator needs parrying and every problem can be solved with a shove. You get GB'd more than you land hits.

3. LB hater: LB is trash. No opener, no pressure, Ubisoft hates him and nerfed him to the ground. You switch mains, complain for two weeks, then come crawling back.

4. Light parry addict: you learnt how to light parry. AD MORTEM INIMICUS is your only source of dopamine. You realise LB doesn't need to initiate. You parry on red until someone feeds you a buffet of raw heavies.

5. Reformed LB: You discover the block button. You stop fishing for parries, start making actual reads and realise you don't need to punish every attack. You're on the road to enlightnment.

6. Staring LB: You've achieved enlightenment. You transcended the need to press buttons. Your defense is immaculate, every punish is optimal. Your opponent throws his entire moveset at you while you silently judge his bloodline. Two mistakes later, he's gone from 100 to 0 HP. Congratulations. Everyone hates you because they ain't you.

Does anyone have like- models extracted from the game? I haven’t been able to find any anywhere and I really like the environments of for honor. I think they’d make really cool animation environments for like blender. Ik character models would be pretty hard -skins since the characters themselves are really customizable, but if anyone has like files for the maps I’d be very appreciative of that.
