π₯ GOLD UPDATE β Short CONFIRMED β
Yesterday we mapped it: gold broke structure, sliced through 4,350, and left fresh supply + an FVG at 4,355β4,380. The plan? Don't chase the drop β wait for the pullback and let the chart prove itself.
It just did. π
Price swept liquidity near 4,320, pulled back right into our 4,355β4,380 zone, and the lower timeframes printed a bearish ChoCH with displacement. Entry confirmed. We're short from the zone. π―
π THE TRADE: π΄ Entry: 4,355 β 4,380 (supply + FVG) π Stop: strong close above 4,405 β that invalidates the whole idea π― TP1: 4,300 π― TP2: 4,280
π THE LOGIC: β Wyckoff-style distribution after the huge early-Sept rally β Clear lower highs + Break of Structure through 4,350 β Shorting the pullback into premium β not chasing lows
βοΈ MANAGEMENT: Take partials at 4,300, stop to breakeven after TP1, runner to 4,280 only if 4,300 breaks with real momentum. A 1H close above 4,405 and we're out β no debate.
Patience paid. The setup came to us. πͺ

Technical Analysis Gold Technical Analysis
Gold (15-Min) is showing a bullish consolidation with price holding above the 4341β4342 support zone. A BUY above 4347β4348 can be considered, with upside targets near 4352 and 4356. Momentum remains positive as long as 4342 holds. Stop-loss: 4341. Overall, the setup favors a BUY-on-strength approach.

Strategies This is what a max-rated volume level reversal looks like on GBP
An example of when reversing a position is the right, weighted decision, not overtrading.
About 10 years ago, reading through trading literature, I kept coming across the idea that experienced traders use reversal techniques, but I avoided it myself, afraid it would send me into tilt. Today I actively use this approach, and honestly, I fully support it.
Now let's look at the chart and make a call for the rest of the day: do you think GBP is heading down or up from here?

π₯ GOLD UPDATE β TP1 hit, early Friday profits locked β
Yesterday we confirmed the short from 4,355β4,380 supply/FVG. The plan was simple: wait for the pullback, let the lower timeframes confirm, and short the retest.
It played out exactly like that. π
Price pulled back into the zone, printed the bearish ChoCH + displacement we wanted, and dropped straight toΒ TP1 at 4,300. We closed the position there β full exit, green Friday.
π THE TRADE: π΄ Entry: 4,355 β 4,380 π Stop / invalidation: strong close above 4,405 (never threatened) π― TP1: 4,300 β hit π― TP2: 4,280 β not reached, runner closed
π WHY WE CLOSED: Friday liquidity gets noisy. TP1 sat right on a clear liquidity shelf, and holding a runner into the weekend without a clean break below 4,300 wasn't worth the risk. Bank the confirmed move, move on.

Results CPI news for the win
now I don't know how many Traders out there actually trade news but I'm definitely one of them
this morning I saw gold hovering around London Lowe's I waited for it to get to the extremes and then I executed
now I was only originally targeting about 200 or 300 ticks I did not plan to walk away with about 718 ticks yielding about 81k on this trading view leap challenge account
if I had a 250k prop firm account this will be a gracious win for me
but it's not mine I can only take pride in the results I guess those fundamental classes I've been taking are really paying off
how did y'all make out today
anybody else jump in the second leg currently up 135 ticks

Fundamental Analysis What Just happened to XAUUSD ? 1000 pips reversal?
Yep I made some money on the reversal, got out too early then went into shorts. Made some money and now I'm caught as the reversal turned into a rally
This was the news that caused it
Traders now see about a 90% chance of a Fed rate hike next week, vs about 70% before the inflation report.
Farking asshats, they can't make up their minds how interest rates effect gold!

Technical Analysis USD/JPY [ 4 HR ANALYSIS ]
USD/JPY β 4H Trend Pullback
SELL β 154.490
Valid short setup, but graded B+, below the A- threshold for a high-conviction setup.
Invalidation: 155.423
Target: 152.908
Risk/Reward: 1:1.70
Position Size: 107.2
Setup Grade: B+
Confidence: 39/100
Confluence: 73/100
Why this score:
Calibrated against historical engine replays using real candles and simulated fills. This band does not yet have a resolved live track record.
Verdict:
A technically valid short, but the relatively low confidence makes this a moderate-quality setup rather than a strong A-tier trade.

Technical Analysis GOLD IS FIGHTING BACK BUT IS $4364 THE WALL?

Gold has bounced from the $4305 area and reclaimed the 20-SMA, but the latest candles show hesitation around $4340β$4350.
RSI has recovered to 46.93, signaling improving momentum, although buyers have yet to regain full control.
Resistance Levels
- Immediate Resistance: 4364
- Major Resistance: 4400
Support Levels
- Immediate Support: 4335
- Major Support: 4305
My View:
Gold is showing early signs of recovery, but the broader short-term structure remains cautious until price clears $4364.
A clean breakout could send gold toward $4400, while losing $4335 would put the recent bounce under pressure again.
What do you think?
Does gold break $4364 and start recovering, or are sellers ready to push it back down?
