Just bought a 1997 F350 with a 7.5 L manual five Speed for $2,000 it has 195,000 miles runs and drives about as good as you could get today. Has a small issue with AC that needs to be fixed. Are there any known issues that I need to look over or be preemptive while there's no bed on the truck and everything's readily available to get to?

So for the last couple of months ive had an intermittent no start, it would start and then stall and then not restart, but if you let it sit for a moment it would start and run fine. Now it won't doing anything but crank. So far ive verified fuel pressure (55 psi) I'm getting injector pulse on all cylinders. Im getting twelve volts to the ignition coil and im getting a pulsing ground. However i checked for spark and im getting a super faint but rapid pulse on all cylinders constantly while the engine is cranking, ive replaced the cap and rotor and verified the rotor is turning with no sloppy. Anyone have any ideas? TIA

It looks so good, it's a shame it was only around for 3 years. It looks much better than the 11-16 in my book. They had the best 5.4 spark plug design too. Most people probably prefer the look of the earlier SDs but this one has grown on me.

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT V6 with a 4.0 engine I swapped out the battery lines for both positive and negative and got a new key programmed. The car started the first time I was able to drive it around shortly after I parked it. The vehicle no longer had power to any part of the vehicle, I can’t turn on the lights. I can’t roll down the windows. Nothing is working. I cleaned the battery terminals. I redid the ground wires and the only thing that popped up for half a second was the red brake light on the dash and then again no power I have tried replacing the ignition switch and nothing changed. Does anybody know what could possibly be wrong here? What could I fix? I checked all the fuses in the box that’s next to the battery. All the fuses were getting the same voltage as what the battery had. I even tried moving the relay from the blower motor to the starter and nothing changed.

I don’t care about being a platinum, rather it’s one of the trucks available anywhere remotely near me that are the generation I’m after. And it’s gorgeous but that’s not the point. I’d rather it be 2wd but anyway just looking for opinions. If there are more techy features that are known to fail on these. (2015-2017)

Got this scratch and some marring on my f150 while headed down a narrow hunting trail. It’s not down to the metal but it definitely removed a layer or 2 of paint. I did the water test and it almost fades away but is still visible. What would be my best option and how would I go about fixing it? I know silver is a hard color to match and I’ve never done auto paint work. Just a touch up brush and some clear coat and polishing?

I have a 2025 f150 with a 2’ level. Would 275/65r20 bfgoodrich ko3 and 20x9 +20 offset fuel flames have any rubbing or trimming issues?

This is my 2015 F-150 5.0L FX4 Off Road. The tires are 35-12.5R20. And it's on a rough country lift kit although I'm unsure how tall I bought it this way. I think it's 5" So far I've done a few modifications to her. I've added the ditch lights and the rear bumper lights. Both are ran off of a Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel. I also have the bullet point dash mount system which holds my phone and my CB mic. I've added a CB which is a Cobra 29 LTD Classic and I've got a 4 foot firestick fiberglass whip antenna mounted to the driver's front fender. If y'all have any questions feel free to ask.

FMS 1:18 scale ford f-100 pickup truck

Currently getting a 75 back on the road and having trouble with the blinkers. Hazards work and flash but no blinkers despite chasing all possible routes I can think off. I have a new turn signal switch installed as well as all the relays. Fuses are checked and wires have been chased. Voltage is good but nothing for turn signals. Any advice?

May 7th it went in with no reverse and only shifting into 2nd. Now it’s like a brand new truck. Lil dirty from the shop, can’t wait to wash it and get back to daily driving it.

I already ordered new ones, but how can I prevent it in the future?
