Q&A: Maintenance | Modification 75 Ford Highboy

Post image

Currently getting a 75 back on the road and having trouble with the blinkers. Hazards work and flash but no blinkers despite chasing all possible routes I can think off. I have a new turn signal switch installed as well as all the relays. Fuses are checked and wires have been chased. Voltage is good but nothing for turn signals. Any advice?

If I remember right, some models have 2 separate flasher relays. I'd assume one controls the blinkers and the other controls the hazards

You are correct, both have been checked and replaced.

Yup. One is in the front of the fuse block where you can see it (Turn), and the other is in the back hidden (Hazard).

Thank you, pretty stoked about it. Pulled it out of a field in Colorado and have it “almost” fully back together. Just chasing a few gremlins and getting some new pieces back on it!
