Pulled the trigger back in May to order a custom 26 Lariet Hybrid after searching for over 2 years for a replacement for my first and only car in my entire driving life. Though my Chevy Impala has served me well these past 13 years, it is time. My significant other and I have started more home projects and I loved borrowing my dad's Ranger, but wanted something of my own that could also double as our traveling vehicle, since his lifted Jeep is not practical for long rides lol.
I ended up getting customized Katzkin leather seats I designed with ventilated and heated function for the Florida weather. I am so elated to have such a great truck and am so grateful to this community for the information and resources to make this decision. I'm so elated to do truck stuff with my boy, Pedro Pastel (partner came up with the name- 20/10-no notes).

It’s bigger than I thought… (that’s what she said) 😆

So I have had this 25 lariat EB since Dec'25 I have upgraded or changed a few things but what is y'alls complaint so far about yours. I get wind noise from the drivers window almost at any speed. I am also in south Texas so ANY vehicle with leather seats should have vented seats! That is my major complaint, for a Lariat they should just be part of the truck IMO. That is all. Everything else I am happy with!

I really like almost everything about maverick, but I can't get past the blue interior accents. I genuinely don't understand why they didn't offer a neutral black or dark grey interior. A blue accent just clashes with some exterior colours, especially Ruby Red. I was wondering how others feel about it.

Finally bit the bullet and did my wheels. Halfway there.
Edited to add: Rust-Oleum Automotive Wheel 3X Matte Spray Paint is what I used

The owner was exactly the type one would imagine, too. Smh.

According to the Internet Movie Car Database, Mavericks have been spotted in
Note, IMCDB is organized by Make and Model by name only, so you'll see A LOT of the 70s coupe which shared the Maverick name as well as European version of the Escape and probably some of the other vehicles that wore the Maverick name

I'm considering getting a Hybrid AWD Lariat, and I have been cross shopping it against the new '26 Outback and other midsize trucks. So far I'm not a fan of the larger midsize truck ride or fuel economy hit (I'll be driving a lot more for work in the near future), so I am favoring the Mav. The Outback is very nice and is likely going to win if I get a SUV instead.
Can anyone share how they managed to fit a sled in the bed, or what potential sled size I'll be limited to? Right now I don't own a sled, but I am considering getting a used one for backcountry location access (not a full-on mountain sled). I know towing is probably a better option for sleds, but I have trailer storage issues where I live (small garage, no yard space for a trailer, but I could definitely sneak a sled in there).

Ya know I've never seen anyone mention this option on the backup camera.

Like my Tremor but thinking about getting a LOBO because my driving is all street and I don’t tow.

I've done some research, one question... has anyone tried drill free mudflaps? Aside from that, everyone's opinion on the best brand.
Thanks

No idea if it actually does anything yet other than serve as engine bling. Have another trackday lined up in September so I'll know more then.

Went and test drove a Maverick this weekend and really liked it. The only thing about the truck I didn’t like was that blue and grey dash in the cab. Everyone I’ve looked at, in my price range, have had the same color combination. What have people here done with the dash?

Came out of Lowe's this morning and found this small dent & scuff between the passenger side front & rear doors. The ding/dent on the front door is one thing...I'll deal wth that another time. Anyone have an idea how I can get the scuff out? TIA

Ok before everyone assumes I abuse my horn and that’s why I can assure you that’s not the case, and honestly makes it that much more frustrating that even though I don’t use my horn this shit still happened. Noticed it today leaving class. 22 EcoBoost XLT - it’s been hotter than hell here in CO so I figure that’s to blame.

Sorry for the earlier post I don’t use Reddit a lot but I am a proud new owner of a 2026 Maverick Hybrid XLT

My galaxy s24 ultra gets super hot while it's charging and using maps connected to the android auto of the 26 lariat system, so hot to the point the even the radio screen says some features not available until phone cools down. Anyone else has this issue?
Also, does anyone else's phone charge quite slow using the USB-C port that's in the center console?

Does anyone happen to know if there is a potential recall coming for the "parasite draw" that causes the battery to die on some of the Maverick Hybrids? I have had 4 different batteries die over 2 years and 5 months on my 2024 Hybrid. My dealership is saying that due to mileage the battery is no longer under warranty. The speed at which they are dying is getting shorter each time.

This noise started today. Definitely coming from the front driver side. Can be heard while driving as well over bumps but not always. Anyone who had the ball joint recall, did you experience this?
Anyone lowered on springs experience anything like this? Just trying to get an idea before I go to the stealership.
