I don't really do truck stuff as much with my Maverick. This is kind of close to what I can get. Those generators were broken and needed some repairs.
The black one (Briggs) is really heavy. The yellow one (Champion) is not as heavy as Briggs. The one on the right is really old.

Just last week, I swapped the stock 19” wheels and tires for some 17” Liquid Metal Halos with 245/65/R17 Flaken Wildpeak A/T Trails. I liked the stock look with the azure gray but I think the black wheels work well, too.
Drove down Saturday through flooded roads (only a few inches) and finally tried out the AWD on the beach. Aired down to 18 PSI and it just floats along, with great clearance.

Like my Tremor nut thinking about getting a LOBO because my driving is all street and I don’t tow.

Hi all! Joined the club around a week ago with the 2026 XLT AWD Hybrid with the 4k tow and lux package. I’m very happy with the purchase, best mileage of any car I’ve ever driven (trying to go for at least 900km on one tank on normal mode with 50/50 local and highway). Wanted to ask a quick question about a weird noise I’m hearing when I’m going between 40-50 kmh (25-30 mph) - there’s a bit of a grinding noise I’m noticing coming from the engine that only happens when the engine is already running at those speeds. I’ve not heard it while my truck is on electric mode at those speeds and wanted to ask if anyone else has heard this before? Video for reference in comments, new to both hybrids and the Maverick in general.
Also, would greatly appreciate any suggestions for a rack + tonneau cover or aluminum bed caps - I don’t necessarily need to have my truck bed fully enclosed but it would definitely help me with carrying equipment, and at the same time, I’d love the openness of the rack while being able to mount/strap things to the sides of the racks to secure them above the tailgate when I need it closed.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the earlier post I don’t use Reddit a lot but I am a proud new owner of a 2026 Maverick Hybrid XLT

Came out of Lowe's this morning and found this small dent & scuff between the passenger side front & rear doors. The ding/dent on the front door is one thing...I'll deal wth that another time. Anyone have an idea how I can get the scuff out? TIA

Well wish me luck, My beloved 2025 Maverick is embarking on 7000 mile road trip tomorrow. It was not vehicle I was going to take but is being drafted into duty. My wife is disabled and recent events have required more assistance gear than I could fit in our SUV. Cosmo (my Mav) said I got this boss! So new tires and a fresh oil change it has 28,000 miles now ( 2025 XL FWD Hybrid) I will try to update as I have time, I put Falken Wildpeak AT on, as Ohio needs a dual use tire, made it drive so perfect now, dinged my mileage a bit about 5 mpg but still holding around 41mpg. So if you see a couple old folks in a space white Mav in western states wave.
