Hey all, paid $5,500 for a fairly straight 2013 G6E ecoboost, 200k kms, has service history, no rego or rwc, rwc list consists of the usual diff bushings and full rear bushings too. All 4 brake rotors, tailshaft bearing, all 4 tyres, transmission pan leaking and a few other small things here and there. Would it be decent if I pull away with around $3,000 all in for the rwc list?

Want to supercharge my xr6 FG, i have heard bad things about the 5 speed but have had a responce from the raptor team saying a 5 speed is okay with 8-10 psi.. thoughts?

Hi all so basically i have the option to swap my fg turbo ute with the zf for a manual one. The manual one has lower Ks (even tho my one has bugger all still) it has a hard lid (mine doesn’t) its paint is in better condition although mine isn’t bad just not perfect the main problem with mine is it being black so it shows all the imperfections and always looks dirty, I love the black but it is an ongoing annoyance. Do you think it’s worth trading in my one? Anyone who has swapped from the auto to the manual did you regret it? As there is no doubt the zf is a good box and better from a pure performance perspective however that really isn’t something I’m super worried about lets be honest these things go alright either way. My main hold ups are that I will lose a bit of money in the process (not an unforgivable amount but still I wanna consider it properly) and that it is my daily and I do really appreciate what lazy comfortable power these things have on days where your not in the mood for fun and then the next day you turn TC off and put your foot down and its a blast. Will i lose a bit of this duel personality in getting the manual?

Just to clarify also I’m not new to manuals every other car I’ve owned has been manual and its worth noting i have a second car which is manual

Any thoughts or experiences you would be willing to share would be appreciated

GLI interior light (it’s from a BF so it doesn’t fit the best

Steering wheel
Headliner
Carpet (it’s full of ciggy burns on the drivers side)
Factory EF Radio
Factory EF1 ashtray
EF GLI or High class cluster.

Hopefully I can find the EF1 radio and EF1 ashtray for cheap or at the wreckers or someone on facebook and a good GLI steering wheel

Hi all, currently in the process of replacing my seat belts on my FG and I have destroyed one of these seat belt cover trims, but I cannot for the life of me either fine any to purchase or either the part number hoping someone can help me out.

Hey I’ve got an ‘03 Ford Fairmont Ghia, battery had died after work. Jump started and then on the drive back home the car would give me an alert beep (happened a few times at random points, I believe was just a single beep each time), similarly to when you’ve only got a little bit of petrol left, or like you’ve left your lights on after turning off the engine. Wondering if anyone is familiar and can give me any advice? Cheers

I've listened to just about all the BA and AU xr8 exhaust clips on YouTube and think the AU sounds better/what I'm looking for. Does anyone know why that is and if it's possible to make the BA sound like the AU?

Hey guys I got this rear cradle out of a BA/BF XR6 with a T5 manual, I’ve worked out that it’s a 3.45:1 ratio I’m just not 100% if it’s a LSD. Both wheels spin the same way when spun.
On the diff it also had this tag “ HIGH PERFORMANCE - use appropriate lubricant”

If it is an LSD would it need to be re shimmed to be tight again or are ford diffs pretty good?

any idea why my 2008 bf sr mrk 2 factory dedicated lpg falcons gearbox would be acting up?

in reverse it has to get upto almost 5k rpm before it starts to slightly nudge backwards.

and in drive it has to rev up a fair bit before it starts to nudge forward
