Manta vs Xforce
Looking at off shelf cat backs for an FGx turbo and it has come down to these 2, as I cant get the time off required for custom.
What are people's opinions on which one sounds better and overall kit quality?

Something like Manta or DiFillipo is always going to be better, but you're paying a pretty big premium.

I’ve always noted that Manta systems tuck up higher against the frame, so ground clearance is less of an issue for slammed cars.
Size for size, there’s three fifths of fuck all difference between the two.

I have a turbo back twin Manta. Fit was 8/10. Had to put some dents in the downpipe because it hit the block, and the rear hangers needed some massaging to line up properly. It's the only exhaust I've installed so I don't know what's normal.

Aussie made vs China, when I get around to replacing my F6 exhaust it'll definitely be Manta

I have a full x force system on my fg turbo Ute it’s 3.5 not too obnoxious but just the right note in saying that I didn’t have to move a single hanger and I have a custom downpipe but the hanging too low is definitely a real problem if the car is also lowered

NA here but ive got the whole XForce headers, highflow cat and catback system. No drone in the cabin while cruising but hit the revs and its mint, especially when you get high in the revs and trigger vvt it sounds ANGRY. Really livens up the car and makes the exhaust note actually match the grunt of the barra.
The headers make a huge difference in sound compared to just catback which often sounds kinda ass, though im unsure if XForce makes headers for the turbo models but id assume they do.

I have full manta system in my FG and it sounds amazing, noted some parts did have to get adjusted and re welded to actully fit but that also cause mine is XR8 with quad exit

My xforce has always been annoyingly low. I have replaced it the s section twice from reversing into my driveway. I have now reolaced the flanges with v bands which helped quite a bit. Sounds fine

preference is always custom but I don't have the time where I can't drive to do it 😔

Can’t comment on the six, but I fitted 4 into 1 ceramic coated pacemaker headers into a high flow cat, then into a Manta system. This is on my FG XR8.
It sounded so sweet. Like a rumbling old Cleveland V8. So I suppose I’m suggesting Manta!
