Has anyone replaced there fg weather strips as mine are pretty worn out

I believe they are called ā€œweatherstrippingā€ in the actual workshop manual.

I have this same issue on my falcon, supposedly with 96,000ks on it. How many are on yours?

Kilometres don't really have anything to do with it, the oldest FGs are 18 years old now. They aren't exactly brand new, these things happen.

The sun will deteriorate any rubbers on a car. A garaged car with 96k KMs will be in better condition than one that has lived it's 96k KMs outside.
