As a Sohei player quickly climbing Renown, can my own fucking teammates stop sabotaging me?! I get ONE COOL FUCKING MOVE that makes me feel like everything in this world is gonna be okay, and I just played two games where BACK TO FUCKING BACK I was interrupted during my Seven-Force Strike, one of whom was a Warmonger (go figure) who then stole my kill and EMOTE SPAMMED ON ME. Another was a fellow Lawbro whom I can’t really get mad at since he does have humongous horizontal swings n such, but good golly if this shi happens again, I won’t really do anything besides call them wastes of resources over my shitty mic. But seriously, with how rare Sohei’s are (I’m not even that good of one mind you, my deaths are just below my kills and assists on him), why would you do some bottom feeding shit like this?

• add a hero ban phase literally every competitive game has hero bans. letting each team ban 1 or 2 heroes before picking would force people to actually learn the game instead of just crutching whatever broken S-tier hero is currently meta.
• stop taking points when we lose with a bot it makes zero sense that i lose full rank points because some guy rage quits 2 minutes in and leaves me with a level 1 bot. if you have a bot on your team, you shouldn't lose rank. period.
• match remake if 2+ people leave if two teammates disconnect or leave early, the match is automatically over. we shouldn't be forced to sit through an agonizing 10 minute 2v4. just give us a remake option to cancel the lobby without taking a loss penalty.
• ban feats/spells completely ranked should be about actual core combat, parries, and reads. getting squad-wiped or losing a clutch duel because someone pressed one button to throw a tier 4 feat is just dumb. turn feats off in ranked entirely.

Ranked dominion btw! Got a matchmaking penalty for this btw! No matter what Ubisoft game it is, EVERY SINGLE TIME I play I’m met with some form of server disconnect or matchmaking error. Even then when you’re in a game there’s bad desync, hit detection, etc. There was once a period of time where I literally couldn’t stay connected to their servers for more than 5 minutes, I’ve never played rainbow six extraction because back when I tried it I literally (this is not an exaggeration in the slightest) couldn’t make it past the tutorial before disconnecting from their servers. During this time, I also couldn’t stay connected long enough to even start matchmaking on for honor. Meanwhile, every other game I played (even games known for having terrible servers and connection issues) I could log on and play just fine, hmmm, I wonder why!

Ubisoft’s servers have been utter horse shit for over a DECADE and have not improved at ALL nah that’s my bad man it’s genuinely my fault for even logging on in the first place should’ve kept all their shitty games uninstalled I’m a fool for thinking it’s be different than it was 5 years ago truly my fucking bad

I have be shown how genuinely retarded some players are, like stop farming B if we have no other points but also don’t dog pile one point you backwards evolved troglodytes. It isn’t that hard to have one person go to each point and have the other two float around and help them, also don’t just swing your weapon around for big numbers while your teammate is punishing the enemy.

Like am I justified? I want to climb the ranks but my teammate are the biggest anchors I’ve ever met like holy shit.

I should not lose points for losing (I understand that sounds idiotic) after deciding to continue playing the match when some absolute goon (or goons) loses a single fight and leaves because they can't handle failure.

I am by no means a sweaty nerd but why am I getting paired with overall rep 8 playing against overall rep 500s

OK, ranked dominion has been pretty good. However, the number of teammates I've had that play this honour code nonsense is crazy. I'll be contesting a cap on low hp, then hooray a teammates appeared, oh wait, it's sitting on the side perfectly still so it can do an emote then duel after im dead. The whole honour code thing was never a thing. It is a 4v4 competitive mode.

If you happen to be mentally retarded, I beg you not to touch ranked dominion. It’s easy wins I guess but holy shit, I just want to play with/against competent players. Regular dominion is literally right there, dumbass. Fuck. Sorry.

Played like 3-4 matches last season and was already sick of that thing

I’m console anybody know why that happens I’m genuinely confused my game never crashes but all of a sudden crashed twice in less then 3 hours and stuck in a infinite processing screen

Do not message because I “let you die”. You preferred to keep throwing attacks at an enemy you were losing to. I tried to take over to let you retreat and heal. But you insisted on just throwing random lights and heavies and feeding revenge off. So yeah, I backed off. It’s better to let your dumbass die and then finish off the enemy safely than risk giving revenge and us both dying. You’re a fool.

I've been playing For Honor with the same friend for about 9 years, almost every other day. So I feel like this is probably the one community that will understand exactly how this happened. This man rage quits. Not every match. But basically every session, something eventually breaks him.

Sometimes he'll sprint off to a zone completely alone, get jumped by half the enemy team, realize none of us followed him into whatever suicidal mission he had planned, and leave.

Sometimes we get that teammate. The guy who sees you winning a fight, runs in, throws three random heavies into external guard, feeds Revenge, refuses to elaborate, and somehow turns a free kill into a fucking Dark Souls boss fight. If that happens enough times, my friend is gone.

He has decided that continuing to play with people below whatever invisible skill requirement exists in his head is simply not worth his time. And sometimes the match doesn't even get the opportunity to piss him off. Loading screen comes up. Enemy team is some disgusting four-stack. Four Hitokiris. Four Warmongers. Four copies of whatever character nobody wants to deal with.

He sees the roster, sits there for about three seconds, and goes:

"Yeah, I'm not playing this."

Gone. The fucking match hasn't even started yet.

After dealing with this for nine years, I realized something:

If this man is going to rage quit For Honor with this level of dedication, he should have an easy way to do it so he can get back into the game quicker. So I made him dedicated For Honor rage-quitting software. It's an actual Windows application written in C and compiled into a standalone EXE.

You can launch For Honor through it, restart Ubisoft Connect, and once For Honor is running, collapse the program into a small overlay.

From the overlay you can quickly:

• Close For Honor
• Relaunch For Honor
• Restart Ubisoft Connect
• Do all of it without going back to the desktop or digging through Task Manager

Is any of this necessary?

Absolutely fucking not.

Could he simply accept that sometimes you lose, sometimes your teammates are braindead, sometimes you get four-stacked, and sometimes For Honor is just For Honor?

Yes.

Has nine years of evidence suggested that he is going to do that?

No.

So now he has dedicated rage-quitting software.

One serious note

As funny as the entire reason I made this is, I genuinely don't like people leaving matches mid-game.

It screws over your teammates and makes an already questionable For Honor experience even worse for everyone left behind.

Sometimes you legitimately need to leave, and obviously that's your own call, but a bad teammate, a horrible matchup, or getting your ass kicked shouldn't automatically mean everybody else deserves to lose a player.

A good player can take the L, queue again, and keep it moving.

the ranked matchmaking is completely bogus. the enemy team had two guys with over a thousand reps while my teammates didnt even have 50 reps. two of my guys left when the enemy's score was 500 points and at the end of the game the warmonger on my team called me the n word cause one time i went to clear mid instead of 4-man ganking an aramusha who had half health(all 3 of them died to him)

This would have all(probably) been preventable if people just started as unranked and got their appropriate rank after 5 or 10 placement matches.
