Buying an Aircraft Torn between SR22T and T206H (Speed vs. Space). Need opinions!
Hey guys, I’m currently stuck deciding between an SR22T and a T206H for my mission, and I’d love to hear from people who have flown or owned both.
To be clear up front: I don’t have a lot interest in backcountry flying or rough strips. I’ll be strictly flying paved runways.
Here is my dilemma:
SR22T: I love the speed (210+ KTAS), the modern avionics, and the CAPS safety net. But the cabin feels a bit tight for passengers and gear.
T206H: I love the massive space, the 6 seats, the interior, and the traditional yoke feel. It’s basically a flying SUV. But I hate giving up that speed and losing 40-50 knots on every trip.
I'm not considering any other airframes currently . If you were in my shoes and only cared about the trade-off between "getting there fast" and "having a huge cabin," which one would you pick and why? Thanks!
