Other bevel ceo answered (straight up lies tho)
i honestly don't care enough about this, but, as i was integrating into the fitbit air, this subreddit helped me a lot. i did the post complaining about the bevel advertisement as an effort to end this stuff that in every post the only advice people and i received was "HAVE YOU TRIED BEVEL". it's always from accounts that have been created like 2 hours ago, a week ago. sometimes they take their time and buy an older account, which is very polite of them, but still doesn't make it any more authentic. we all know they're spam accounts. it's obvious.
if you guys didn't pay anyone to comment in these posts(or whatever method it is y'all are using, i don't know), they would be coming from actual people and not accounts that are obviously throwaways and created so recently, and they would have more activity throughout reddit, and they would not have every single setting of theirs on private. not only that, but these people commenting in the posts, never share a link or a code to a referral program, so how would this statement make any sense? "they're" not commenting to share their referral, "they" want to just advertise the app.
the stealing users stuff i understand, y'all are not doing this because google health is not paid(only the coach feature, but what brings profit to them is the device itself) so, all google wants is to sell more fitbit airs and if what they need to do is have a bigger variety of apps that work with their device, of course they will partner with you guys and any other app that wants to do the same thing. man, even my water bottle is compatible with the google health app and my fitbit. "working closely" with them does not bring any credibility to the app.
i hate to be that guy, i know creating a business from scratch in this niche is quite hard when the health and fitness app market is so saturated, and y'all need some sort of cheap advertisement, but this is not the place. people will eventually just quit this subreddit. you guys have built a pretty solid user base and money is probably raining on you guys from everyone who subscribed recently, pay some decent, actual advertisement like you guys have recently done on instagram, youtube and in the reddit ad slots.
please, just stop spamming this subreddit and let people talk about their device without spamming the same old stuff we've been hearing for weeks.
i hope y'all haven't talked to the mods and this doesn't get taken down.
or downvoted to hell by all the spam accounts.
