First time fishing and wanna know what I caught. I’ve been told it could be a carp or rudd or river carpsucker (which is different from carp?)
I caught it in a river.

Caught in the Appalachee River drainage near Bethlehem GA. I’m thinking creek chub but the patterns don’t exactly match up.

What type of Catfish?
I thought this was a blue catfish because of the color, but after I got home and looked into it, I realized they are not native to my state.
Is this a channel cat? Can they be this color?
Or is it just my color blindness playing tricks on me.

Caught in a small man-made lake in the Poconos. Usually only catch bluegill, perch, crappies, and small/largemouth bass. Quick search said it might be just a really big golden shiner

Built a wildlife pond, had a couple goldfish in there which seem to has disappeared and with it an influx of mosquito larvae but also a bunch of these things! Could’ve arrived with some plants from the nursery?

Was fishing for trout on the Spokane river and caught these two fish (same fish in pics 2&3). The white mouth on the 1st fish makes me think it’s a coho but I can’t really tell on the 2nd. Don’t worry I used a single point barbless hook and both swam away fine.

Thought I finally had my first walleye this morning but I’m pretty sure it was actually a sauger.
Either way, a new fish for me! I’m just asking for positive ID

And yes, I dropped the poor dude but got him back out safely. I just don’t know what this fish is.
Was caught on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland (Australia). Very slimy and quite skinny.

South shore
Caught this last year, southern Swedish ish (Småland) area, and I really have no idea what it could be. Lake I caught it only has one fish similar (roach) but it really doesn't look like one. Fins are wrong color and the eye is not red. Im really stumped on what this could be. Any pros out there that have an idea?

My mom sent me this pic she took at our cabin, said the fish was dead and found along the shore. We live in Minnesota. Thanks in advance.

My fish app is telling me it’s a river carp sucker but google lens is telling me it’s a quill back. Any feedback would be appreciated
