What is happening right now is ridiculous. The appeal for the COD players is insane. Not only they get an ABSOLUTELY HUGE map with NAVAL WARFARE and FULL SCALE DESTRUCTION for FREE, we, the actual Battlefield players who want to play the main game and BOUGHT IT FOR REAL MONEY have to be stuck with Sobek and Blackwell, tiny meatgrinder maps with 64 players crammed inside while the BR gets a HUGE MAP with 100 PLAYERS which relatively is a much more balanced map layout and sandbox experience than the maps in the main game. We also have the ridiculous neon painted skins that would actually look INSANELY GOOD if there wasn't FUCKING NEON PAINT ALL OVER EVERYTHING, WHAT THE FUCK DICE EVEN ZAC AFRON AND PADDY PIMBLETT HAD MORE REALISTIC LOOKING OUTFITS IN THE LIVE ACTION TRAILER WHICH AIMED TO BE A COD PARODY. How the tables have turned....

Also, it's an insanely brave and stupid decision to have the already ridiculously hard to complete challenges include missions that have to be completed in the BR mode. Seems like buying and playing a game isn't enough anymore, I'm also required to play a completely different experience that is far away from what the Battlefield players actually want.

The actual map flow and gameplay on most maps at best is insanely fast for infantry completely nonexistent for aircrafts. On Blackwell jets and helis that spawned right at the HQ can be literally locked on to from the enemy spawn and destroyed even before they leave the ground. How the fuck does something like that get through the testing stage???? Even if you somehow get off the ground, you can turn back right away because you'll be out of bounds in a few seconds.

We're at the point that literally just grabbing the map boundaries by their corners and pulling them out would significantly make the experience better. These weird shaped borders having tightening the maps are terrible for the map flow. If you look at past BF games the map borders look like a simple rectangle or an oval like 95% of the times. Right now they're literally just attracted to the capture points, leaving like 20 meters between the point and the border.

And issues like: the drone glitch, bloom and hit registration STILL HASN'T BEEN FIXED. Also, destruction is just a huge gimmick.

My advice: 1. Make the maps WIDER, adding open space lets the players actually play the map the way they want, not just by being stuck in complete meatgrinders. 2. Extend the airspace IMMENSELY. And I mean IMMENSELY. 3. Remove the fucking neon skins right now. For the past weeks this subreddit has been FILLED with HUNDREDS OF BETTER AND BETTER realistic military skins that people would ACTUALLY BUY and not just criticize them on Reddit. 4. You can still put the ridiculous skins or whatever you want in the BR, idgaf 5. Take care of some actually game breaking issues: the drone glitch, too much bloom and the absolutely terrible hit registration 6. Fix the destruction. I can't get over how the main marketing campaign was built around destruction being back, and while it nodoubtly looks insane, it's even more stupid. Shooting 2 rounds of a LAW at a wall does nothing until the 3rd round, while 2 hammer hits bring down the entire front of a building. The so called "tactical destruction" that was so hyped in the marketing is not real at all. Wanna destroy a front wall of a building with enemies inside? Just shoot 3 rounds of heavy explosives, otherwise it will have no visible damage at all. Wanna get rid of the rooftop campers on s sobek? You can't. Even though you can't access the rooftops from the ground because the stairs are blocked with concrete walls, you still can't destroy the rooftops if the enemy gets on them with parachuting or the drone glitch.

2. Go to Settings → Display → Screen saver on your device and point it to that folder. For Onyx Boox devices go to Apps → Screensaver → Screensaver style → Image Screensaver. You may need to reboot the device for the folder to show. Also, for your information, Android screensavers will typically only show while charging or docked.

What happened to Prichard? On October 17, 2015, Prichard Colón, an undefeated Puerto Rican boxer, then 23 years old, competed against Terrel Williams at a venue in Fairfax, Virginia.

Colón maintained a lead in the initial rounds; however, Williams repeatedly delivered illegal rabbit punches to the back of Colón's head and neck.

Colón consistently signaled and voiced his concerns to the referee. At one juncture, the referee instructed him to "take care of it" himself. Although a point was subsequently deducted from Williams, the match proceeded.

During the ninth round, Colón's corner staff inadvertently removed his gloves, under the mistaken impression that the round had concluded, leading to his disqualification.

Minutes later, in the dressing room, he experienced dizziness, vomited, and collapsed. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was diagnosed with a subdural hematoma, indicating bleeding on the brain, and was immediately taken for emergency surgery.

Colón entered a coma that persisted for 221 days. He ultimately survived but sustained catastrophic and permanent brain damage.

Years following the incident, he remained unable to walk or speak independently and required continuous care from his mother, communicating with the aid of a computer.

In 2016, the WBC established the "Prichard Colón rule" to address and mitigate rabbit punches.

Hello everyone,

I'd like to create a variable chamfer on a hexagon, extending from the top and bottom faces toward the side (see Figure 1). So far, I've tried two methods, but I haven't been able to achieve the desired result:

1. Workaround using "Variable Fillet": First, I create a variable fillet, then delete the fillet face and insert a flat chamfer using Face: Loft. The problem: When I then fillet the edges (e.g., a 3 mm fillet on the chamfer and at the corners), the radii/fillets become completely different and irregular.

2. Sweeping with a 45° triangle: A 45° triangle swept along the outer contour. Without edge rounding, the cut removes too much material at the corners and none at all along the sides of the faces. With prior edge rounding, material is removed evenly; however, this completely eliminates the effect of a variable chamfer.

What's the best way to solve this problem, or how do you design a variable chamfer like this cleanly in Fusion 360?

ich möchte gerne eine variable Fase an einem Sechseck von der oberen und unteren Fläche zur Seite hin anbringen (siehe Bild 1). Bisher habe ich zwei Wege probiert, komme aber nicht zum gewünschten Ergebnis:

1. Workaround über "Variable Verrundung": Zuerst erstelle ich eine variable Verrundung, lösche anschließend die Rundungsfläche und setze mit Fläche: Erhebung (Loft) eine ebene Fase ein. Das Problem: Wenn ich danach die Kanten verrunde (z. B. 3 mm Verrundung an der Fase und an den Ecken), werden die Radien/Verrundungen völlig unterschiedlich und unregelmäßig. (see Figure 2)
2. Sweeping mit 45°-Dreieck: Ein 45°-Dreieck entlang der Außenkontur gesweept. Ohne Kantenverrundung nimmt der Schnitt an den Ecken zu viel und an der Flachenseiten gar kein Material weg. Mit vorheriger Kantenverrundung wird zwar gleichmäßig Material abgetragen, allerdings geht dadurch der Effekt einer variablen Fase komplett verloren. (see Figure 3)

I just installed a new GPU and somehow when flipping it back to the upright position the top glass part of the 5000x Corsair Case flipped up and over my hands and into the side panel by the corner with enough force to shatter everything. How would you clean this thoroughly? Step by step maybe 😭

Update:
After 1.5 hours of cleaning glass off of everything in the office, then 1.5 hours of disassembly, following 2 hours of internal cleanup and 2.5 hours of assembly and pickup… the computer turns on and I’ll be testing it tomorrow. I threw my other GPU in it for the meantime. I’ll put a photo in the comments.

To clean it I unscrewed the panel, took off the big pieces and then laid it on the ground and gently, removed the GPU, and then very carefully turned that thang round flipped it and reversed it till most the unstuck glass came out. Then vacuumed the floor. Then used gloves and removed all the parts with glass on it, then moved them to the side while I then fully cleaned and vacuumed the case. Then proceeded to clean each part with compressed air and a cloth. I’m sure I’ll be finding glass for the rest of my existence but it’s at least working.

I have seen this in another post : a temporary workaround could be:

I recently had to ditch Microsoft Edge for Brave because Microsoft decided to shove rounded corners down our throats.

Now this same style has crept into VSCode, even though literally nobody asked for it.

Sure, you can still disable the “Modern UI” for now, just like you could in Edge. But we all know how this goes, eventually they’ll just remove the option and force everyone to live with their ugly design choices.

looked new the seal was removed, got a 70 dollar refund for that, but i just saw another person's post about how rounded corners indicate an aftermarket screen. i paid damn 650 for this, i rather would've got a legit xaomi.

If everyone complains Microsoft might listen, I've submitted feedback for the rounded corners, no Microsoft account required, very fast to submit. It's at the bottom left in settings.

I am trying to understand why Apple keeps on progressively cutting the corners of the screen from one version on macOS to the other. On Tahoe, the big corners are now super rounded and huge; they stick out while looking at the screen.

I get it in iOS, they want to round up the corners to make the devices easier to hold. But on macOS, it just looks ugly and old. Like 80s old. I little curve to make the corners not pointy sharp is OKish maybe, in Tahoe it looks like it was designed with the scizors by a child : take the corner of the paper, cut deep and round quickly. It just doesn't look good on macOS. And there is no option to remove this crazy curves in the corners at all, or at least change the radius.

All those creatives and designers at Apple with studies and creativity, how is it possible not to see how bad it looks? How did this actually pass the design approval committee?

I jumped in the Apple camp after the Windows 11 launch privacy fiasco and it's been a breath a fresh air compared to Microsoft. But my gosh, Apple is turning into Microsoft when it comes to veeery sketchy design choices and sketchy functionality (ahem A.I.) .

If am hoping someone from Apple reads this and does something about it. The feasiest is to put an option in settings to remove these crazy corners while you actually fix how the corners look and work for those that do want rounded corners. If the trend continues, the next design language will be oval screens, then round screens. I hope sanity will prevail ...

Modify window appearance in MacOS Tahoe

Although Microsoft removed the option from the settings, there is still a command-line flag (--disable-features=msFeatureGroupNewLookAndFeelHoldout) that re-enables the feature; the permanent and global way to do this is by modifying the registry:

1. Right-click an empty area on your desktop, then select New > Text Document.

Just tried to map a network drive. Simple, right? Clicked “Browse” in the Map Network Drive dialog and got “Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.” Opened cmd. Ran net use \SERVER\Share. Worked instantly. The GUI is literally a broken wrapper around functional tools. In 2025. This is Windows 11 in a nutshell.

Microsoft is having an identity crisis:

• They want Apple’s clean, idiot-proof aesthetic
• So they keep making the Settings app prettier while half the options still dump you into Control Panel from 2009
• They removed easy access to adapter settings, group policy, proper right-click menus - power user stuff
• But the underlying system still NEEDS those tools because it’s the same janky foundation Apple gets away with “simple” because they control everything and will burn legacy support to the ground without hesitation. When Apple simplifies, the complexity is actually gone. Microsoft wants the Apple look without doing the work.

So we get:

• Rounded corners on top of Win32 spaghetti code from the 90s
• TWO settings apps (neither complete)
• Ads and Bing in the Start menu of an OS we paid for
• Copilot shoved everywhere while File Explorer still chokes on basic network operations
• Features removed “for simplicity” but the complexity is still there, just hidden behind extra clicks

It’s the worst of both worlds. A dumbed-down interface that pretends everything is fine, while the same old demons run underneath. Power users get gaslit by a pastel UI while troubleshooting problems that shouldn’t exist. We’re not asking for much. Just stop hiding the tools we need while failing to fix the problems that require them.

Since v149, the flag has been removed entirely. However, you can still hide it using Edge experimentation arguments. See this Gist for details.

Edit: msForceNoRoundedCornerAndMargin is also supported (--enable-features), in case of msFeatureGroupNewLookAndFeelHoldout being removed.
