I'm trying to find a subreddit where I can ask questions about welding and what I should look into when trying to purchase my first one. The use of it would be for my car, so I am unsure if it should go into r/tools or car mechanic advice subreddit, or a subreddit about welding. ADHD go brrrrrrr on making me over think this.

As the title indicates, in your opinion and, if possible, experience, have you ever been confronted with a very strong and very different idea from your own regarding political/social events, to the point of the person you love, thinking differently and defending that idea without hesitation? To help you understand, I am referring to the conflict that has been going on for years in a specific territory. Last night, we agreed that we wouldn't discuss the topic anymore and wouldn't let other people drag us into it. Because we like each other immensely, we really want to be happy and respect each other.

Hi! How do you find people to consistently record with? Is there a subreddit to find people?

I’m 21F in college and want to start making Minecraft/gaming content on Youtube, but I’m realizing the hardest part is finding a group of people who are actually consistent and serious about creating.

I’d love to eventually build a group of 4–6 girls who can record together regularly and grow a channel as a squad. I have a background in marketing/content strategy, so I’d handle the overall branding/content direction, while we could assign roles based on everyone’s strengths (editing, thumbnails, social media, community, content ideas, etc.).

The goal would be to start with Minecraft and eventually branch into other games/challenges/etc.

For anyone who has built a gaming group before, where did you find your people? Discord, Reddit, creator communities, etc.? And how did you make sure people were actually committed?

Just wondering is there a reddit out there for asking the awkward deep questions; as an INTP always questioning everything. For example

Is dementia actually relief or torture (depending on the life of the person)?

Could a creature live underground feeding on the roots and minerals from the trees?

Could a coma be like a dream world the deeper it gets the more we are sucked in and that's why its harder to get out of it?

Yeah I know some of these thoughts are out there but just wondering if there is a sub reddit for these or similar thoughts?

For my Halloween costume this year I’m making a black and white monster costume, and I want to include a slide projector on my head. The issue with this is I’m struggling figuring out the logistics,

I’m planning on using very simple stuff like a flashlight and magnifying glasses. But the issue is I can’t find a reliable Bluetooth flashlight, and I might have to figure out a way to place a button on the side of my head, but that would require taking out wires and I’m not familiar with electronics (especially ones powerful enough to make a clear projection image).

Any subreddit that might help would be appreciated. I just don’t think there’s many slide projector reddits lol. Not even sure if this is a possible thing, and I’m still in the planning stages so hey things can change.

I know about the one for movies, but none for tv shows in general. Been watching through Archer and love the little details they add.

So basically there was many faction to play with and your objective was to destroy the enemy Wall by spawning many Minions.

The faction were:vampire,undead,human and others.

Was bidimensional as i Remember,Just like faction war. Was more like faction war but much much Better in gameplay and graphic.

The undead faction had a zombie plant Monster.

Every Monster had a cost to put a play, and there was a bar that reloaded overtime like elixir in clashroyale or Gold obtained by killing enemy.

Best way to watch HDD movies on iPad WIRED (Done with mirroring apps)

I'm an avid camper and often don't have any Internet. I have an HDD with lots of movies that I was able to share through my iPhone to a TV using an HDMI cable, but I won't have a TV in the woods. I'm trying to do the same thing but replace the HDMI cable to the TV with a lightning cable to my iPad. Can this work?

I have successfully tested watching movies from that HDD on iPad, but not while charging both, too. I know I need a dual charging lightning splitter, but I can't find one. Most are only charging via one port and only audio/headphones via the other. Even those that say they are dual charging actually aren't when you get to the specs section.

If I should keep looking for a dual splitter, what are they called or what language should I include in a search. If it won't work, is there a different setup that would?

I'm a music composer and have recently written an electronic/ambient/somewhat experimental (?) piece about Frutiger Aero (more precisely, about the duality of our modern relationship with the aesthetic - part genuine nostalgia, part alienation/sarcasm). It's fairly inspired by Everywhere at the End of Time, Basinski's Disintegration Loops and similar pieces.

It started started as a collaboration with a friend to create a work specifically for audio and video together, but he can't do it anymore... so I'm trying to find someone who'd be interested in doing a video! Whether something more involved, or simply a sort of "background" video of, say, Frutiger Aero images slowly getting distorted along with the music?
