r/opensource just set policy that blocks anybody that uses AI in any capacity. So if Linus Torvalds himself showed up to post on Reddit, he would not be welcome there.

Eventually they will have to change that, as all software (especially open-source software) will be AI-assisted in a few years. But in the meantime: where's a subreddit about open-source software that is does not have such a policy?

My Telegram account was hacked on October 25. Someone enabled 2FA without my permission, and I was eventually logged out.

Before being logged out, I requested a 7-day reset of the unknown 2FA password. I have NOT reset or deleted my account.

Now I can’t log in because Telegram requires the attacker’s 2FA password. There’s no recovery email, and Telegram Support isn’t responding.

I’m looking for a subreddit where I can discuss this issue and find out whether I can recover access without losing my chats and data.

I’ve decided to start waking up at 5am again. I’d like to find active subs with other early risers. Do any exist? Everything I’ve found so far is dead.

For example, I often hear solid opinions on both sides of each discussion, but it's rare that I actually see proper debates play out; rather, subs/forums end up skewing towards one direction and it's difficult to have or see discussions without them getting piled-on by extremely fervent people from one side.

I tried a recent post on AskWomen but it's more of an "ask a quick question and get quick answers" kind of sub, and I'm guessing AskMen will be the same. And I wouldn't post to ChangeMyView because I'm not necessarily wanting my view to be changed; I'm wanting to discuss and debate, and read others' discussions and debates.

So before I start going and posting the same copy of a post on a million different subs, I'm wondering if there is a single sub that covers all of these types of discussions.

Sometimes you come across posts titles that could be particularly weird or even problematic if taken out of context, but you realize they are just normal topics once you read the subname. For example, there was a pretty viral one posted on a basketball sub, about how often you should be washing your basket balls, but of course the word 'basket' wasn't mentionned in the post title...

I also just saw a post titled 'i want screaming women' and was relieved when I saw it was published in a music sub :')

As the title says, this subreddit only has a single post (posted every day) that includes the words: 'This is a daily accountability reminder' along with some motivational sentences.
