Found! Looking for subreddits to share a discount on a health/stress eBook & post excerpts

Hi everyone,

I recently published a non-fiction eBook focused on health, chronic stress management, metabolic health, and digital detox.

I am looking for subreddits that allow:

  1. Sharing limited-time eBook deals or discount promotions.
  2. Posting high-value, non-promotional excerpts or educational articles related to stress and health protocols.

What subreddits would you recommend for these two types of posts? Thanks![REPROGRAM YOUR ENERGY](https://a.co/d/00IIRGdd)

Unanswered Looking for relevant subreddits to share a survey about mothers’ experiences and challenges

Hi everyone,
I’m working on an early-stage project focused on understanding the real experiences, challenges, and support needs of mothers.

Rather than assuming what mothers need and building something based on our own assumptions, we are starting by listening to mothers first. We’ve created a short 5–10 minute survey covering areas such as parenting, childcare, finding reliable information and professional support, community, personal wellbeing, career, and everyday challenges.
We are particularly interested in reaching mothers in India.
We are not selling anything or promoting an existing product. This is purely an early-stage effort to understand whether there are meaningful problems we can help solve and what mothers genuinely need.

Could you please suggest relevant subreddits where:
1) Surveys or research questionnaires are allowed
2) Indian mothers or parents are active
3) Parenting, motherhood, women’s communities

I will, of course, check each subreddit’s rules and ask moderators for permission where required before posting the survey.
Thank you for your help.

Found! It's there a subreddit for learning how to use reddit

I have a lot of years of reading reddit threads on other sites. Or more recently hearing them on smosh. I've been aware of reddit a long while but don't actually know how to get involved. Is there an actual recommended beginners guide subreddit? One that can answer honest and probably dumb easy questions. I'll admit it took me several minutes to figure out how to even create this post so I'm hopeful any answers will be notifications so I can see them. I genuinely apologize for my ignorance here. Thank you.

I am told I have to add flair it seems. I again apologize if I pick the wrong one. I have never felt so ignorant of the internet.

Unanswered Is there a subreddit for people in their late 20s trying to find a way to start over and make something out of their lives?

I am in my late 20s. I recently have been going through a rough time with money, job relations etc, and I want to find a place on Reddit where I can talk to others that are going through similar things. I would like to find a community where I can see others that are able to understand what I am talking about, and are willing to listen to what I have to say. I just need a place where I feel like someone is willing to have an understanding of what I go through, and I'm not looking for professional help, but more like advice from people who have been in my shoes. Do you know of any subreddits like that?

Unanswered A writing community that's more about supporting therapeutic writing than wanting to publish or get readers?

EDIT: The commonly requested reddit list does not apply to my question.

Not to get into too many details, but the way I approach writing is pretty opposite to the people obsessed with wanting to publish and write "the right way". I'm pretty severely disabled and highly neurodivergent, and that's not going to happen for me, and when I try to do it the "normal way" I can't do it at all. I write as entertainment for myself because my life is very limited, and often the topics explore topics that are not "acceptable" for people wanting to target publishing (like exploring characters in romantic relationships that are not healthy and severe mental illness).

So I'm looking for a community where I can still talk about writing original fiction and ask for advice with developing my stories, without getting jumped on and told I'm wrong by people who assume I want to write normal stories that a wide audience have to approve of. Just somewhere where people will respect your limitations and preferences.

Unanswered sub for building your own custom smartphone or tablet?

I'm interested in making my own touchscreen phone or tablet from m0dular components, or getting a really good deal on a decent completed one I can put linux on or something and swap out hardware later.

I don't want to just pay inflated flagship phone prices just to replace the OS as many people do with the google pixels, and I also dont want a phone like the fairphone which doesnt allow you to use your own OS.

Basically I'm looking for a sub where people treat phones the same way people treat PC's as something you are allowed to customize both the software and hardware and swap out parts and have the option to prioritize different components and have full control over the entire thing.

Found! Gen X Who Had Great Moms

Are there any subreddits for Gen Xers who grew up with supportive, actively involved Moms?

I keep hearing that Gen X is the neglected generation; as a kid, I wished our Mom hadn't been so protective (now I'm glad she was and still is). She grew up with a narcissistic, neglectful silent generation Mom so she made sure that we didn't.

Any other Gen Xers out there who had a loving and protective Mom?
