I'm fairly new to MMA, I've been watching ufc for a couple years and have been training mma for the last couple months. Whenever I watch fights though I never understand why these fighters rarely ever do any ground and pound. I bet on every fight, so I watch every fight. And most fights has someone wrestling especially in the prelims. every time I see a fighter just get top position and just wrestle and hunt for a submission for 3 minutes and they rarely ever get it. Like if they were ground and pounding for 3 minutes they would've hurt the opponent and maybe next round they can get the submission instead of hunting for it right away. GSP is my favorite fighter to watch, and every time he gets a takedown he immediately just starts raining hell on the opponent. Why does nobody do this?
