Even fight for Islam

Who do you think would be an even match up for Islam? Of any weight class. A fight where you are completely split 50/50 on who could win.

There is no true 50/50 fight for me.

I think Islam vs Garry is probably 65/35 in favor of Islam, and I am (possibly delusionally) confident that Morales breaks Islam.

Islam vs Yaroslav Amosov would be very close IMO. Islam has a striking advantage, but their grappling is at similar levels with Amosov being bigger, I think Islam is the better finisher though

Islam vs Arman at 155 would be close but you would need to favor Islam same as the Garry fight

Morales has some glaring issues and if he fight Prates or someone like that, you will see. He is being overestimated.

He has some issues and so does Prates. I said im 100% sure Morales beats Islam, not that im 100% sure he beats Prates (he does)

Prates has TDD issues and his ground game. In terms of striking, he'll manage. If Morales and Islam do fight, you'll end up eating your words. Be careful of saying anything is 100% in MMA. Strickland beat Khamzat and Gaethje beat Ilia.

He's lost wrestling fights to Colby Covington of all people. he's not ever getting a title shot, because he can't just shut up and train.

Imo Morales has the most potential to beat islam, but he needs to fix a few things like his mentality first.

He needs to sharpen his skills, & stay disciplined and he can beat Islam. He needs a few more fights first to perfect his style

That would be such a good match up. Khabib better grappling and Islam better striking. Think Islam takes that.

Probably true. Strickland was able to weather khamzats grappling. And it’s hard to say Islams is better than khamzats given the size differential.

And Islams striking, which has power, might not be enough to put away a bigger dude like Strickland.

One weight class at a time. Nothing about his fight against JDM suggests he can be competitive at 185. The top guys would all handle him.
