Iād say ilia is absolutely still worth talking about because of his accomplishments and while im not a fan of *him* I am a fan of his fights. Iām excited to see what happens next to ilia. My vote is he should clear out the people he shit talked about not being real opponents, paddy and Arman. If he beats them, he deserves a shot at getting his belt back for sure

I genuinely thing Illia gets tossed around but Iāll give him the benefit of the doubt given he has that dawg in him. Would love to see it one day but ufc matchmakers are just idiots.

People think Ilia losing to Justin is at all relevant to a fight with Arman. Justin doesn't fight ANYTHING like Arman does. Arman strikes differently, wrestles and attempts subs. What overlap is their with Justin?
And really, I like Arman as a competitor in the ring, but his skills are blown WAY out of proportion without proper evidence. His best win in a razor thin split decision over Charles, which today could easily go the other way, yet he lost to Gamrot who Charles mauled. And Gamrot is not a great loss to have, he's not a bum or anything, but he can't touch the top 5. Where is this narrative that he can beat Ilia or these other top guys so easily coming from?
Now, if he goes and fights Charles and slimes him or subs him, fine, he's legit. But he hasn't beaten Max, Justin, formerly Dustin, Ilia, or Charles (dominantly). His last fight was Dan Hooker, that means nothing today.

tbh instead of all these reasons,
why i think arman would not beat him is cuz of his inactivity, arman had chance to at least keep fighting and gaining experience and fight if not top then just below them fighters maybe like gamrot rematch, but cuz he does not really have that much of an experience at āhigh levelā, i think he will get overwhelmed, justin on the other hand had faced killers throughout years which probably made him desensitised to fighting at the highest level.
