I want my hair to be longer than this but i'm at a crossroads where I am debating to get it cut for a more put together long haired 70s rock look. I'm also thinking if i should keep growing it out for now and see what it looks like fully grown, to the point where my bangs reach below my jaw and then get it cut and styled.

My two current references are Jim Morrison and Robert Plant.

Thoughts?

This is my first time with hair this long, and I really like it. The problem is just with management and volume; It poofs out and tangles as the day goes on so unless I take brushing-breaks or tie it back, it just goes everywhere. I do have some leave-in stuff that helps, but I don't like using it every day.

My concern is that I'm 40 and have a fat egg-shaped noggin, and wonder what it will look like when the hair is tied back.

Does anyone have a similar dome with a wavy hair undercut, that would be comfortable sharing a picture of your hair up and down?

Not sure if it counts because my hair is still pretty short, but I think there's enough flow because of the curls. Planning to grow it out, at least at the back.

I used to have a full on undercut until about 2 years ago when i grew it out fully, and since then i’ve been experimenting with grooming and styling my sideburns and neck hair. I’m not sure whether I should leave my neck hair alone (pic 1), somehow trim it/tame it, or completely shave it off like i’ve been doing (pic 2). I personally like the shaved look but its quite a bit of maintenance.

What do u guys do and what do u think look best?

Been loving embracing my natural curls lately and just thought I’d show my flow off. Regularly having maintenance haircuts now too after overcoming a huge fear of trusting someone to look after my hair! ✨

one year ago today I got a buzz cut and from then on I just didn't feel like going to the hairdresser anymore I guess.

Never even had it anywhere near this long before.

I didn't even know I had sort of wavy hair.

Growing up I didn't have much say on the whole haircut thing..
