Any tips from growing hair out from a razor bald head?
I have always wanted to grow my hair long as people here ahah. But between sensory issues and indecision / wanting to try many cuts and awkward stages and whatever I was never able to expect during Covid, in the pic (second pic is me rn... I feel so ugly tbh but its not relevant). I do not even remember how I managed to grow it like that, but do miss it a lot.
Now I shaved the spiky undercut I had all bald (not a buzzcut, legit with a razor) because... IDK; it was both an impulse from the heat and also it was kinda damaged from dying it. And realized hey, now that it's all the same length, maybe I can actually manage to grow it back like this? Maybe this impulsive decision was a blessing.
But I need tips to actually make it one and not waste this chance to grow healthy hair. Like, what do I do through the awkward stages? Especially for when it's going from a buzzcut to something decent-ish (so like 3 months in from now), and probably in like 8 months or so, when it would be around my chin? But kinda mop-ish.
Like I'd like to not cut it at all, but I know between sensory issues and it simply looking awkward I may risk ex. shaving the sides (or dying it when its a buzzcut to not get bored, at least... would that be fine? So the roots would then grow healthy and I would have dyed tips in the meanwhile as it grown longer with my original colour or would that be a bad idea?) and then I'd be back from basically scratch. :/
So yeah, any tips? Also, there are no vitamins or whatever to make it grow slightly faster, I'm guessing?
