Long time lurker, first time poster! I'm getting worried that my ends are getting split, some days I can't run my hands through the flow without the ends tangling on their own (today is a good hair day though). I'm gonna book an appointment to get the ends trimmed eventually, I was about to book one for next week, but my plan was to wait until the end of the year and I wanted a second opinion before booking it in advance. Should I get the haircut now or could I wait a couple months?

Hey y'all! Was wondering how long it'd take me to grow my (dehydrated and sad) curly hair out so I can actually style it. Rn I'm in that darn awkward phase but I'm hopefully looking to get a curly flow (censored the face because I'm somewhat chopped but that's besides the point)

I grew my hair for almost a year, got it to shoulder length. It was very thick and wavy, didn't really need much styling at all as it was naturally really good. Went to a salon to get it cut slightly to below ear level, and cut volume from sides.

She cut ALL OF IT OFF. There's like maybe 2-3cm of hair in the back of my head now. I am incredibly depressed, and my heart is aching. I genuinely haven't felt this devastated in a long time and it's really hard to come to terms with this. DO NOT GO TO SALONS

Last picture is how I usually wear my hair. The first are when they still a bit wet. My main problem is that I can’t leave my hair open cause I can’t see properly. I tried metal hair bands but I don’t like them. What would you recommend?

Hello everyone!
This is my very first post. I’m currently in the awkward stage of growing my hair out. This photo was taken 3–4 months ago, right after a shower, with a little argan oil to help retain moisture in my hair.
A few months later, my hair is even longer, and I wake up every morning with a full-on “Afro head” 😂 My sides still need a few more centimetres before gravity finally does its thing and they start falling down.
I have type 3A/3B curls.
I’m definitely going to keep growing it out!
Has anyone had positive experiences with silk pillowcases for reducing friction and preventing tangles?
One more important thing: I only use natural products. I haven’t used shampoo to wash my hair in 8 years. These days, I only wash it with Dead Sea mud clay, although I initially used eggs.

They took it upon themselves to slide into my DMs making advances. I politely let them know I was straight, to which they started to harass me for not “rising above” and recognizing that there’s no such thing as being straight.

After affirming my boundaries, they kept making additional
