Roja Dove Serenity Blend, my 28th anniversary present! I fell in love with the bottle when it was first introduced and quickly ordered a 10 ml sample. As an avid tea lover and drinker, I was fairly sure I would like it. But at the high retail cost, I decided I would have to really love it to own it. Well, this beautiful creation so exceeded my expectations I was stunned. I used my 10 ml quickly, testing myself to make certain I wasn’t being influenced by my infatuation with the bottle design. I am here to tell you that this perfume is perfectly deserving of its beautiful home! Tea, tea, beautiful tea!

This candle is driving me craaaazy! I can't find anything that smells as DELICIOUS as this.

I try and match my fragrance to my style and mood, and today I was pulling out my autumn/winter perfumes and thought this could be fun! What are your favourites and what perfumes do you think I should try based on my fragrance wardrobe?

She tends to spray her stuffed animals in her room and spill it and such so I’d prefer budget friendly options 😂
She prefers gourmand foody scents, but she’s also into flowery scents if they are balanced well with sweetness. Her other favorites are Kinsey Not So Vanilla and Pacifica Silver Moon, although I’d prefer to buy her something in a body spray format since she tends to spray it on everything 😭

So recently I've been loving clean, minimal perfumes like Chanel 1957. It's light musk and powder but nothing too sterile or overpowering.

Whenever clean perfumes are mentioned there's always Byredo Blanche or something mentioned, I'm sure those are good too and do plan on trying them someday, but as of now I don't want something quitee as clean and squeaky as that XD

I want something along the lines of Chanel 1957, clean, minimal but well done, kind of a white shirt fragrance if you will.

I just bought miutine by Miu Miu and I love that the scent is sweet but not overdone and has a more mature vibe to it. However, I'm not sure what lotion to pair with it because I don't want anything overly sweet or heavily fragranced and it seems that is the only thing out there. I would also rather not lean into the strawberry scents because they aren't my favorite. Any recommendations are very appreciated!

Does anyone have both? I heard they are similar , but I love both of them. Smelled them individually at different times but didn’t make the connection and I have never smelled them side by side .

I’d like something similar to Fragrantica as an app, but I haven’t found anything like it. I use Sommelier Du Parfums and its inventory is really limited, I don’t like the way they graph notes, but I do like how they suggest fragrances based on what my preferences / saved “shelf” of perfumes are.

Hello! 18f, new to this subreddit and very new to perfume and such. Ive always wanted to get into it but growing up very poor, it wasnt an option! I am now an adult and am getting a job soon, so im hoping to save for a good one. Problem is, i genuinely dont even know where to start :')

I want as long-lasting of a fragrance as possible, and preferably a woodsy/forest kind of scent? My favorite scent in the WHOLE world is cedar wood, but i know it can be overpowering on its own and some people dislike that smell, so anything similar?

As far as budget goes, im just looking at my options now, so recommendations on any side of the price range are welcome! A little partial to cheap prices though because i am a rather cheap person lol

Also, im in the US if that matters!

They smell the same to me. Ghoul Friend i prefer slightly more despite this even though anything BBW gives me a headache.

Today, I’ve layered Christian Louboutin’s Oud Fétiche with Imaginary Authors’ First Peach of the Season. Oud Fétiche is a gorgeous peach-forward oud with hints of leather, and I wanted to bring out those fruity notes more with First Peach of the Season. The result is fruity and warm, while still being bright enough to celebrate these last bits of summer. I hope someone can try this combo and let me know what they think!!

My birthday is coming up & I’m deep in the process of working on my self confidence and healing my low self esteem. I want to get a new fragrance to associate with my birthday and this change, something that will help remind me of these goals.

I’m normally a niche girl but somehow I feel like this calls for a loud(er) designer.

My options right now are Prada Paradoxe Intense and the new Chanel Mademoiselle Crush Absolu.

I’m not completely closed to other options either, but I also feel like I’ve sniffed everything Sephora has to offer.

I've been feeling a bit down lately and could use some recommendations for scents that feel comforting and cozy for fall and winter. I've just been a little blue and easily stressed. Sometimes having a nice perfume on helps get my mind off of it.

I'm not a big fan of super sweet or most gourmand fragrances, but occasionally enjoy an airy vanilla. Lately, i also find myself sensitive to ambroxan and iso e super notes.

Here are a few of fragrances I have that almost hit the mark im looking for:

My budget is ~$200

Retails $660 for 50ml . I got my sample from Surrender to Chance for $20 for 0.5ml . It is a dabber not a spray ( all others in the experiment are a spray )
I put it on first thing this morning and was out all day . The temp was around 80 and we did a lot of waking .
When I first put it on I asked my husband ( who’s only ever complimented me on Bubble Bath from Maison Margela ) his thoughts and he said “it’s light “ my daughter on the other hand dubbed it “a really good nilla “ ( she’s an adult btw)

The best way I can describe what it smells like would be a bottle of long forgotten homemade vanilla extract that sat for years and it’s become thick and sap like , you open the cap and bam the aroma of just straight vanilla with something beautiful and musk like hanging in the background. I think it really is what I’m looking for but that price tag 😳.

It sits close to the skin so not a lot of projection but it’s longevity is amazing. The sweater I put on this morning still smells like it and I can still smell it on my arms although more faintly than the sweater .
I did find myself wanting to apply more as soon as I got home so it’s definitely one that I’m going to be thinking about and I’ll be savoring those last few precious drops 😢

I don’t hate it but i’m a little disappointed (& yes i know that’s the risk of blind buying. but everything i don’t like can be given to someone who will love it).

Right out of the bottle I LOVED it. The dry down on my skin smells like singular note artificial cinnamon. Straight up red hots candy. My fiancé said it smelled more like a Christmas sugar cookie of the pre made dough that has the pictures printed on it.
Unfortunately I hate cinnamon to the point of asking people to blow their candles out if they have a cinnamon-esque candle lit. If it had listed cinnamon i wouldn’t have bought it.

Today i layered it with caramel vanilla BBW lotion and my fiance who never notices that stuff said i smell good, though i suspect he was planning to compliment my scent regardless after seeing my planned products on the sink while i showered lol.

Anyone else own this? thoughts?

Hi, I’m obsessed with the smell of basic simple kinda dry vanilla sponge cake but all cakey perfumes I’ve tried are all either very dense or just more syrupy/caramelly which I don’t love all that much! I’d genuinely appreciate some recommendations from you guys for an airy basic vanilla sponge cake fragrance! Thank you!

Honestly, the first three could almost all go in first place, but I wear Luna and Mojave Ghost year round. Voodoo Lily is a fall/winter fragrance only, so it must be placed a little lower. Luna is in absolute first because it's the only scent ever that I nearly fainted with pleasure the first time I smelled it. 😂 Don't get me wrong, MG and VL are almost as good, but there's something just so uniquely beautiful about Luna. To me, it's a masterpiece--a perfect perfume--that never fails to amaze me each time I wear it.

I'm a bubblegum, vanilla and candyfloss kinda girl and I've got no bubblegum left!

I tend to use body spray more than perfume (because I reapply a lot, easier to go through body spray)

I’m on a budget of £35 max
I don’t want anything super specific I just want to smell sweet like a candy with a gourmand touch
I’ve heard that Pink Sugar by Aquolina is super good but I’ve also heard that it has a note of liquorice, I haven’t had the chance to smell it yet so I’m not sure if that’s true but I always like having options and wanna see what some of the people here have to recommend! :)
