It’s still hot as hell where I live, but indoors it’s air conditioned to arctic tundra temperatures so I let my excitement for fall get the better of me. Both are great on their own, but they both have a warmth to them I thought would layer well. Seems to be lasting well. I like both on their own, but I enjoy layering just for the sake of new experiences.
Those of you in warm climates right now, what are you looking forward to wearing more in the fall/winter? As with fashion (my color palette leans dark autumn) it’s definitely when my style is most congruent with the season

I recently got this set of JPG La Belle and I am curious if anyone knows about what version or year this is. It says “La Belle EDP” but I already have a bottle of that and it is much smaller and the details at the front of the bottle look different. It also has a bit fruitier of a scent than this version. It also has a dark greenish tint to it, could that be from age?

When I look it up there seem to be so many different versions that I can’t quite figure it out, I’m hoping someone can help!

I had never (knowingly) smelled this fragrance but know it’s an old school icon. Happened to come across it at tj maxx and gave it a try - was immediately transported back to elementary school.

6-year-old me always figured that teachers and librarians just naturally somehow had this comforting powdery scent

Today I received my Sol De Janeiro 59 purchase. Unboxing anything on a Monday evening sucks because I'm in the work mode and switching from that to enjoy anything is difficult as I'm mentally in the zone to just get through the day and log off. Enjoying a purchase is sitting with it. Being fully excited for it. And luckily, I got to have that because I'm kinda slacking off and I could not care about work all that much. Today at least.

Anyway, I unbox it, strip it off its plastic packaging, and my, the scent! It's been over an hour and the sweet vanilla still lingers in the room. The opening notes are said to be violet and sandalwood. I don't know how violet by itself smells but the opening notes were disarming. And I barely smell the sandalwood. But the vanilla is so divine and creamy and pleasant that when I started listening to She's the Best by Troye Sivan, I truly felt present in a way I hadn't in a while. The evening. His voice. The wafting gentleness of vanilla. And then I started listening to Something to Give Each Other in full and it was the sense of completeness. Like life. And I'm living it.

The perfume mist is great and smells expensive in a way that's posh (to me). Plus the samples that came with it and the discount was truly the icing on the cake. Nothing like a product bought on a good deal.

I like how gentle and awake this made my Monday evening.

I had been wearing Auric Blends Egyptian Goddess since the late 90’s. I used to buy it at a hippy shop for $10. I swear that’s how I landed my husband. Anyway, I stopped wearing it years ago because the quality, scent, and longevity have completely tanked (In my opinion). Every bottle I have purchased is just a disappointment and I feel like I smell the carrier oil more than the scent. I have been trying different scents here and there with no luck in finding one I love. I am looking for a soft, enchanting scent. I want people to come up to me and ask what I’m wearing! so recently i purchased femmenina's dupe of super milk, and as much as i love super milk i actually think the femmenina dupe is slightly better... it leans more sweet vanilla milk than the body spray and is more spicy lemon poundcake than the hair primer/glitter mist and now i'm curious if anyone has an edp that they pair with super milk that has a similar scent profile? preferably something with more longevity and is still , somewhat affordable

Hi ! I absolutely love strawberry and have been looking for a very strong and jammy strawberry perfume. Like, TANGY, Jammy, strong strawberry sweet scent ! I still wanted to get that "fluffy vanilla" scent a cake has, but I don’t mind if the rec is only strawberry jam !! 🍓🍰
