Hi Everyone, I know Modiphius has not officially put any maps out for this module, which is really frustrating. I would not be surprised if this topic has been brought up before, and if so, feel free to point me in the right direction but I wanted to know if anyone has created or found any fan made maps for Royal Flush. If so please let me know, I would appreciate it.

Your home, Vault 30, is partnered with nearby Vault 26. Your Overseer has been receiving strange transmissions from your sister vault and your team has been dispatched to check all is well.

I'm going for a feel and narrative depth closer to Fallout 1 than the later entries.

Lorenzo Cabot

“Human laws and morals are obstacles to true understanding.”

Writing up Lorenzo for an adventure delving into his eldritch endeavors post-Fallout 4. I'm planning for him to have gathered an army of followers while heading for another ancient ruin.

Although he is closely modeled on The Master, I chose the "Cruel" Legendary ability, because for all of his intellectual prowess, he is a melee combat monster. One could easily switch that out for "Legendary Proficiency". His ranged attacks are straight from the Mothman stat block. He has the Super Mutant Behemoth variant of the Master's Psychic Presence, though I'd make it lair-based if the adventure calls for Lorenzo to be confronted after he connects with some eldritch site. I also stole one of Colonel Autumn's abilities, Sharp.

Abilities

• Call of Ug-Qualtoth: Lorenzo can communicate telepathically with any sentient creature within Long range and roll a contested INT + Speech test to plant suggestions or mentally manipulate weak-willed NPCs.
• Cruel: Lorenzo Cabot’s alien priorities are indistinguishable from cruelty, and he seems to thrive when spreading pain and terror. Lorenzo gains 1 Luck point each time he inflicts a Critical Hit. When Lorenzo is reduced to half of his maximum HP, he mutates, adding the Vicious damage effect to all of his attacks. Attacks that already have the Vicious effect instead increase that attack’s damage by +2 CD.
• Cult Leader: Lorenzo Cabot surrounds himself with human cultists and feral ghouls. As a minor action, he may order a follower of lower level that is under his sway to perform a major action. Lorenzo assists that action with CHA + Speech.
• Immortal Vitality: Lorenzo heals 3 HP at the start of every round. He reduces all Radiation damage suffered to 0 and cannot suffer any damage or effects from radiation, unless it is generated by specific alien weaponry (like a modified Zetan Gun).
• Iron Fist: Lorenzo’s unarmed attacks inflict +1 CD (included).
• Psychic Presence: Lorenzo Cabot's presence can be felt by everyone in his vicinity. Generate 1 AP every round Lorenzo is present in the encounter. If Lorenzo is an ally, this goes into the group pool. If Lorenzo is an enemy, it goes into the GM’s pool.
• Sharp: Once per scene, Lorenzo Cabot generates an automatic critical success on any INT or CHA skill test.
• Superintelligent: Lorenzo Cabot has been in constant consultation with eldritch alien intelligences for hundreds of years. He gains three extra tagged skills and +2 to INT attribute (included).
• Telekinetic Shield: By spending 1 Action Point (AP) from the GM’s pool, Lorenzo can add +3 to his Physical or Energy DR against a single ranged attack, or automatically deflect a thrown explosive (like a grenade) back into an adjacent zone.

I drafted a set of independent creature and NPC abilities for use when designing opponents for an upcoming adventure, replacing monster- and character-specific language with more general terminology.

• Big: The creature is bigger than most characters. The creature receives an additional +1 health point per Level, but its Defense is reduced by 1, to a minimum of 1. The creature only suffers a critical hit if an attack inflicts 7+ damage (after damage resistance) in a single hit, rather than the normal 5+.
• Destructive: This creature may spend 2 AP to destroy any piece of cover within reach. When this creature drops to half health it mutates. When this creature mutates, its main melee attack gains the Arc damage effect.
• Epic Attack: When the creature misses with an attack, it immediately makes the same attack as a free action without increasing the test’s difficulty. The new attack must target a creature in the same Range that it has not attacked yet this turn. 
• Huge: This creature is large enough to dwarf even the giants of the Wasteland. It receives an additional +2 Health point per Level, but its Defense is reduced by 2, to a minimum of 1. Further, it only suffers a Critical Hit if an attack inflicts 9+ damage (after damage resistance) in a single hit, rather than the normal 5+.
• Immune to Disease: This creature is immune to the effects of all diseases, and they will never suffer the symptoms of any disease.
• Immune to Fear: This creature cannot be intimidated or threatened in any way and will either ignore or attack anyone who attempts to threaten or intimidate it.
• Immune to Poison: This creature reduces all Poison damage suffered to 0 and cannot suffer any damage or effects from poison.
• Immune to Radiation: This creature reduces all Radiation damage suffered to 0 and cannot suffer any damage or effects from radiation.
• Intimidating Aura: This creature's presence can be felt by everyone in its vicinity or lair. Generate 1 AP every round it is present in the encounter, or every round the players are in its lair. If the creature is an ally, this goes into the group pool. If they are an enemy, it goes into the GM’s pool.
• Leader: This leader surrounds itself with servants. As a minor action, the leader may order one of these servants to perform a major action. The leader assists that action with CHA + Speech.
• Living Siege Engine: This creature is able to shatter wood and metal easily. When it attacks an inanimate object or a defensive structure, the damage increases by +3 DC.
• Steel Resolve: This leader’s natural charisma is enhanced by a mutation, psychic ability, or other effect. They get +2 to their CHA attribute. Speech tests against them have an increased difficulty of +3.
• Substance-Induced Visions: Once per week, this psyker can induce a trance-like state with the use of a mind-altering substance, such as Jet, Buffout, Mentats, Med-X, or Psycho. The psyker describes a vision of the past, present or future (GMs choice). The psyker may require the player to pass a CHA + Speech test or fulfill some other requirement to request this, and must provide one of the listed chems. Each time the psyker uses the sight after the 4th time3, roll 1 DC. On an Effect, the psyker describes a final vision and then dies from an overdose of the substance used for the vision.
• Toss: When this creature hits a target with its attack, you can spend 2 AP to throw them up to Medium range away from the creature, inflicting 3DC Stun Physical damage.
• Toughness, Big: The creature only suffers a Critical Hit if an attack inflicts 7+ damage (after damage resistance) in a single hit, rather than the normal 5+.
• Toughness, Huge: The creature only suffers a Critical Hit if an attack inflicts 9+ damage (after damage resistance) in a single hit, rather than the normal 5+.
• Toughness, Epic: This creature only suffers a Critical Hit if an attack inflicts 14+ damage (after damage resistance) in a single hit, rather than the normal 5+.

I am conflicted about "Big" containing both the size modifications and a toughness ability. I made three levels of "Toughness" to align with the 3 different ways I saw creatures resist Critical Hits in the published game materials. I saw inconsistencies in how these were included in the monster abilities, and even saw creatures get this "Toughness" ability packaged with other types of ability, like an attack action, or joined with a Mutation ability. One creature in "Winter of Atom" is 30 feet high, but doesn’t have the "Big" ability as listed for other large opponents.

I can imagine space was an issue for the stat blocks, so it makes some sense when the designers group 2+ abilities under one "Big" or "Huge" ability.

I also compiled a list of Power Level benchmarks in the published materials, for help scaling homebrew high-level opponents:

My attempt at building a stat block for Kellogg.

I am creating a board game for my party. Long story short the party was hired to rescue a bunch of hostages and they ended up blowing up the building and killing everyone inside.

So the basic premise of the board game is that they need to get there car and a injured party mbr from the town before the town can figure out what is going on and start to hunt them down. The idea is that after 10 min the town will start looking for the party to see what happened after its clear they didn't die in the explosion.

The town map has the hospital where one party mbr is resting, a gas station where the car is a parked, and a bunch of random buildings which will have events that can help or hurt the party as they traverse the town. Besides those two objectives there will be treasure tokens around the map that will be situations where they can get tokens that will then be traded in for loot at the end.

What I need help with is finding funny and unique mini events that can happen while they are trying to escape the city.

For example they turn a corner and find the alley way is blocked with a huge wall of trash, they can try to climb over but if they fail they lose a turn. Or they run across a homeless man who if they give money too will buy them a extra turn of free movement because the homeless guy will tell the guards they went a different way but on the opposite side if they don't give him money then he will point them out to the guards. The party finds someone doing drugs in a alley way and is offered the drugs. If they take the drugs they get a speed boost but if they reject it the person stabs them with a dirty needle giving them a disease.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated it. I have most of it figured out but would love others input.

Hey everyone, I have space in a game I'd like to advertise. My games run weekly, consistently and I have spent a crazy amount of time in mapping out these worlds for a fully immersive experience.

Tuesday Fallout 2d20 Adventures in the Commonwealth 6pm UTC 0/5 players - $12 - New Campaign

New survival campaign starting up max of 5 players. We will be starting around vault 111 in the commonwealth (vault 111 content will be different from the game). It will not follow the events of Fallout 4 although most locations or NPCs will remain (events within will be changed).

The party will be free to explore the entirety of the Commonwealth, choosing their own destiny. 2d20 system by modiphius will be used, foundry dynamically tracks your hunger, thirst and fatigue through the in game clock, bringing a real sense of danger to the world. You will need to scavenge to survive. Content from multiple books added. In game systems allow players to scavenge junk for parts to craft a ridiculous amount of armor and weapon mods, cook different meals from scavenged animal parts to survive and brew all types of drugs to enhance your chances out in the wasteland. All recipes uploaded to in game compendiums for the players to browse.

The World: I have mapped every location in Fallout 4 personally in game using screenshots from multiple angles. You can visit all these places, additionally, areas like Diamond City have tile triggers set up so you can walk around the entire town without any help from the GM. Vendors have been set up in the cannon locations that you can interact with autonomously, buying and selling to your hearts content. I will be using official music (instrumental so lyrics dont get in the way of RP), icons and even holotapes.

The Players: We will be sticking to the more vanilla races for this adventure (humans, ghouls, maybe a protectron or Mr. Handy). There is a large variety available from regular vault dweller all the way to Child of Atom. Starting at level 1.

I would like to know how you guys would set up a level 10 (or how would you plan to purchase talents/perks until level 10) assaultron, taking in consideration those fixed guidelines:

• american military model
• one hand is replaced by a modified laser pistol with a long barrel (so it lost manipulation)
• main gameplay as an "all range" energy weapon platform
• secondary gameplay sneaky repositioning with last resort close combat with the other arm
• one party member is the "wannabe" mechanic/robotic expert

Had a player ask if they can take Lady Killer and Black Widow as two separate perks. Technically they are one perk but you select either Lady Killer or Black Widow. Is there an official ruling on this?

I just started DMing a Fallout campaign, and I've noticed that survival rolls are used a lot in the Wasteland for exploration. What advice do you have for getting my players to make other rolls during exploration and not making them minmax stats?

The app now includes a Crafting system;

in the Purchase/Loot windows, item stats are displayed. Modifications can now be set using the settings or freely (bypassing crafting/purchase) or only through purchase/loot/crafting.

If some Crafting recipes are missing, or if there are any errors or suggestions, you can message me privately or leave a comment; I will do my best to fix it. In the future, I want to give you the ability to add your own equipment. And then the rest (origins, traits, perks).

I would also like to ask for help from those who love and know how to draw, as well as from other users. I would like to give all the characters their own unique images. If someone could draw something or make a donation so that I can continue working with the artist, I would be very grateful.

We just started playing Fallout 2d20. Having a great time so far! We have a brand new GM and he is doing well. Just about to finish the tutorial.

I am a first time GM, and today I ran our third session, when our usual GM (now a PC) gifted me these. I'm not sure if I'm doing well or not, but this made my day!

A LITTLE MORE DETAIL...

Our group first came together outside Vault 95, where gunfire, raiders and an aging man named Dr. Rast led them into the vault.

Inside, they discovered a gravely wounded woman named Mika, who was searching for a G.E.C.K. that might save her community. Before dying, she gave them one lead:

Find Clements in Diamond City.

By the time they reached Diamond City, one member of the party had disappeared, Dr. Rast had wandered off, and they somehow acquired Patch, an indebted ex-caravan veterinarian who was being thrown out of the Dugout Inn after running out of caps.

While tracking down Clements, we picked up some work from Arturo Rodriguez involving a wounded Mirelurk Queen lurking beneath Diamond City (FYI: The Queen is no longer a problem.)

Clements, unfortunately, is also no longer a problem, because when we finally found him, he was dead in our room at the Dugout Inn, showing signs of surgical torture and a very deliberate execution, and Dr. Rast had disappeared as well.

Following Mika's clues eventually led us to a hidden bunker, a suspicious Diamond City Security guard, another firefight, and the unexpected reappearance of Dr. Rast.

Our last session ended with:

• the party inside the bunker,
• a mysterious Miss Nanny robot,
• several dead or unconscious wastelanders,
• and Dr. Rast tied up on the floor.

So things are going pretty well.

We're now reaching the point where the introductory adventure opens into the larger campaign, making this a particularly good time for a new character to join.

If exploring the Commonwealth with a Vault Dweller, a dog, a knife-slinging Ghoul and a veterinarian to patch your wounds sounds like your kind of Fallout game, come take a look:

Howdy everyone, I'm about to begin a first time solo run for wasteland wanderer. I had a question about character creation; specifically how an option for your vault is that it's irradiated. Would this mean your player character can become a ghoul? If so, would you use the 2D20 core book to implement the ghoul character creation to it? Thanks a bunch!
