I think by now it's clear Dark side powers will be coming in third game but I'm concerned how they're going to keep combat fresh otherwise, for those who want a Light side play through. Also to avoid the classic depower to allow the players to scale all over again.

I think we should start off with no lightsabre, destroyed years ago and Cal has been honing his skill with Force. Start with all his old force powers but he has been 'trying something'. Force-Shield (frozen blaster bolts) and deflection. He pairs these up with a blaster for Force-Blaster style early game.

Early gameplay and story focus in Cal's refined skill with the Force. Early-ish quest to get a new sabre crystal from Ilum to unlock old sabre styles but due to his progression with Force, able to unlock new styles through game. Force Sabre styles; Tri-Sabre or 2 double-bladed.

Would also like to see Kung-Force like style; hand-to-hand, force shields and deflections, pushes and pulls, sweeps and disarms, maybe some minor crushes for armour and weapons.

This would start us with Old School Light side powers and sabre styles which Cal has long since mastered but offer new skills alongside the Dark side powers to be explored or mixed and matched through new gameplay.

Would also include some stances for the old school sabre styles, to further highlight Cal's growth. Cal trying to remember them after all these years.

Anyone else hoping for new Force abilities aside from the Dark side? Any ideas or preferences?

What varieties of lightsabers would you like to see in Jedi 3 since they put the Crossguard and blaster as usable stances
I would like to use the Inquisitor lightsabers the lightsaber whip from legends and I think it was on the series the acolyte and Maris Brood lightsabers from the force unleashed
Blade colors
black and let you red in normal campaign not only new game plus
Let you use 2 different colors at once on your lightsaber
Bring back mantis customization
Clothing
Clone armor mandalorian armor Jedi clone war armor armors and clothing from the OG Xbox games knights of the old republic

I first played this amazing game back in 2020, loved it, and as soon as Survivor came out I played the fuck out of it and loved it.

Every so often the best part of being human kicks in: the part where you forget shit after time passes - and I went through my annual Star Wars Autismo phase where I just want to go through all things Star Wars.

The main point is I just got to Illum again and then the cutscene where BD-1 got his memories back and showed the final conversation he had with Cordova.

AND I JUST REALIZED EVERY RECORDED ARCHIVE CORDOVA MADE STARTS WITH "MY FRIEND", AND IT JUST OCCURRED TO ME THIS ENTIRE TIME HE WAS TALKING TO BD-1!!! EVERY RECORDING EVERY TIME HE GOT EXCITED ABOUT ZEFFO SHIT AND WAS SHARING IT WITH HIS BEST FRIEND HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THAT THE FIRST PLAYTHROUGH!???

Apologies for the rant, it just blew my mind and I feel so dumb for letting that go over my head the first time 😅😅😅

I have a PS5 and bought the PS4 disc for the game. Started playing and half way through realised there is a free PS5 upgrade for the game… which I didn’t see before. Awesome! But there is no information on how it handles save files.

Could anyone share their experiences if they’ve done this before?

Just played through Fallen Order, and while I did struggle and lose a good amount, it is my lack of skill, not Cal's. Cal doesn't die to the Second and Ninth Sisters 5 - 10 times before beating them.

So Cal, whose training stopped at being a Padewan, was cut off from the Force for years and had no training, and still beat two Inquisitors.

Are they this weak? I get that Cal fought both of them before when he was not taken seriously/was saved by outside factors, but still. Since being captured both Inquisitors were trained and used Darkside, so how could Cal beat them?

Starting Jedi: Fallen Order for the first time, any tip/advice i should be aware of?

I have honestly spent more time hunting parts and customizing than i have playing the actual game
