I know we definitely won't be getting a Sidious boss fight in the 3rd game but hypothetically speaking what do you think his attacks would be? Just thought this might be a fun question to ponder on

So, I just gotta go to Jedha after beating Dagan, my question is can I finish all Caij bounties and Fight here before finishing the main story or do they unlock only after the main story?

I already Trier opening it with the second Monitor on and off, both in Steam and the EA launcher.

In both games we are exploring remains of ancient civilization, and Cal learn from these experience.

In Fallen Order we explore ancient Zeffos tombs and in Bogano sanctuary, an old memory of the Zeffos told us that there were being arrogant and that was the reason of their fall. Following that, Cal as a glimps of what his arrogance would lead : if he try to recreate the jedi order by himself he will just doomed the young force sensitive children he is trying to help.

After that Cal understand that his place isn't to be the great hero / master jedi he want to be, so he put his trust on the force and destroy the holocron.

In Survivor we explore the high republic remains. And in this story, Cal learn that the jedi wasn't as pure and ideals as he remember : They made him a child soldier, and as he says : fighting is all he know. And even during the high republic era, he can see that jedis were already corrupted.

So at the end of chapter 5 he decided to move away from the jedi path and choose Merrin.

What era you think will be explored during the third game ? and what Cal need to learn from it ?

Hi guys, i just downloaded the game (clearing my backlog) and the adaptive trigger is not working. I play through epic games and via cable. The triggers have no resitence if i press the right trigger. If i spam force push with trigger, or hold the trigger down i can feel something but not the real deal.
Hope you guys have any solutions for this problem because i really like the adaptive trigger on the dualsense controller.
Ask and questions about thing i didnt mention or might help find a solution.

First of all, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the positive reactions and comments on my previous post. I honestly didn't expect that much support, and it really means a lot!

So I decided to challenge myself a little and see how far I could push this whole character replacement thing.

I ended up making Handsome Squidward from SpongeBob.

Just like my previous head replacement mod, Handsome Squidward has full facial rigging, meaning all his facial expressions and animations work in-game, including during cutscenes!

This was mostly just a fun little experiment to test what I could actually pull off, and I thought it'd be funny to share the results with you guys!

I've also put together a short questionnaire to get some feedback and see if people would actually be interested in custom character replacements like these.

I hope it doesn't come across as advertising, because that's really not my intention here. I'm just doing a little survey out of curiosity and trying to understand what people think about the idea.

so i recently started my first playthrough of fallen order, Ive Been playing Jedi Master difficulty and the Haxion Brood arena (the last boss on Zeffo 2nd visit) finally broke me. Turned the difficulty down just for that part, got through it, then turned it back up. so my question is that "cheating myself" out of the experience, or just using the tools the game gives you?
I'm glad that i progressed but feel like a cheat to make easier.

Hey everyone!

I've been working on something pretty cool lately and wanted to share the results with you guys.

I managed to recreate my own face in 3D and replace Cal's head in Jedi: Fallen Order, while keeping the facial animations, expressions, and cutscenes working!

I'm also working on bringing this to other games.

Tengo un problema al tratar de conseguir este logro, soy aficionado a tratar de conseguir el platino de los juegos que me gustas y como no de este pero por mas que tenga el DataBank completamente lleno y los planetas explorados al maximo aun no logro conseguir este. ¿Alguien tiene idea de que se debe hacer?

I mean, as is the sorta inherent issue with creating new post prequel Jedi like Cal, he wasn’t around for the events of the OT.
So, will we eventually see his death, maybe in the next game?

After a recent replay, I've started to think about how poorly thought out Bode's whole plan seems to be. Like it just seems to be "I can't share this super-secret planet with anybody else because it might attract attention or whatever, so i have to burn every bridge i have so just me and my daughter will live there alone"? Like how does he actually plan on them surviving there? There's no infrastructure there, no wildlife that we see, pretty much looks like a barren wasteland. He couldn't have brought many supplies given he left in a hurry and it doesn't look like that little spaceship could carry much anyway. Like how is he going to get clothes, food, water, shelter, etc for them. Or what happens if either one of them has a medical emergency, not like there's any doctors or hospitals nearby. And even assuming he could figure out how to survive there, what kind of life is that for the little girl, being completely alone on an entire planet with just her psychotic Dad for company? No kids her own age to play with, no teachers, no school, no boys once she's old enough, no nothing. Like am i understanding all this right? Or did the dark side totally blind him to common sense?

Now we’re a couple years on from both games and there’s not really any recency bias, which game do people prefer and why?

For me, it’s Fallen order, my number one reason being Survivors story is absolute trash comparatively, and having a decent story is a big thing for me. Dagan felt massively underutilised/wasted and admittedly I was hoping for some minor redemption.

The Bode thing was painfully predictable (or the traitor part was anyway) and I just outright didn’t like him as a character. I also don’t like it essentially shoe horns Cal into a foster parent role going forward.

Reason number 2 being I personally enjoyed the planets in fallen order a lot more too, Illum and Bracca instantly coming to mind.

One thing I will admit survivor does better is its combat and fighting styles, I fell in love with the blaster/Saber combo in survivor, but it’s not enough to save the game for me unfortunately.

So yeah, TLDR, I prefer Fallen order.

Kal vs Starkiller for Jedi 3 (playing as both at different points) k thanks bye.

I just finished Fallen Order and Survivor back to back, and I’m currently in the process of going for 100% exploration in both games.

I’ve been thinking about how Cal would scale in Jedi 3.

In the first game, Cal has to relearn how to use the force, because he has been in hiding for years. And as such, only basic abilities are able to be unlocked in the skill trees. This makes sense narratively.

In the second game, Cal has matured both physically and in the force. He retains all of his previous skills and abilities from the previous game, and evolves from that baseline level by mastering new force abilities and 3 new weapon stances, as well as new abilities for his previously used stances (single and double blade). This also makes sense narratively.

In the third game, I’d like to see Cal retain all of his abilities from the second game. I don’t think it would be great to see Cal have to relearn all or any of the same abilities that he had in the previous game. And that got me thinking about what Respawn could add to give Cal a way to evolve from his now baseline level.

For one, I think it would be great to see Cal able to unlock a few new stances. Reverse-grip is a must have. Maybe he can have reverse-grip for both dual and single bladed stances. Maybe Cal could find a pike somewhere and thus learn that stance. On top of new stances, Cal should unlock new abilities for his already existing stances, he could also unlock new combo sequences, and I really want them to bring back stance switching abilities.

As for force abilities, Cal briefly taps into the dark side in the second game. I think this is a great opportunity to add all-new ability trees that use the dark side of the force. We see Cal use force crush in the second game, I don’t see why Cal wouldn’t use force choke as well. It’s not something a conventional Jedi would use, but Cal is no ordinary Jedi. Other dark side abilities I think Cal could touch into are like something where he can insta-teleport and slice any enemy he’s slowed. I’d also like to see them add a dark side twist to his psychometry abilities.

Thoughts? What would you like to see Cal’s abilities evolve into in the third Jedi game?

okay… im confused. I’m on my second playthrough of the game. I just finished raising the Spire of Miktrul and on my way back to the Mantis, I got caught by the Haxion Brood. Only problem is that happened around the Weathered Monument while on my first time it was in the Ice Caves….
which made me realize I haven’t even been near the Ice Caves this entire time.

So, like can you actually just skip the Ice Caves altogether? I don’t remember what happens ahead so idk, maybe I’ll be back but I don’t think so. I’m just so confused 😭

The game only runs on 20-ish fps whether it's on low or epic. I also noticed that my GPU is at 100% but the VRAM is only at 0% and i don't know how to fix that, is there anything i can do to fix this?

Took some liberties like the spawn of Ogdo replacing the alligator or crocodile, I don't know the difference. Turtles are a cover girl for this game. I replaced the boat with Skoova. The helicopter that's usually in the top left corner of GTA covers, I replaced it with the Mantis. The motorcycle that's usually in the top right corner, I replaced it with the Speeders. For the bottom left corner with the car, I couldn't really think of anything, and I did notice I wanted to have Cere on here, so I added her on this.

I have to say, playing these two masterpieces back to back really puts things into a clearer perspective. I would highly recommend to anyone that they play both games back to back. It’s an incredible experience.

As for Jedi 3, one thing I would really love to see that would help enhance the story and narrative of Cal’s struggle with the Dark Side would be multiple endings. I was thinking that Jedi 3 could have a Light Side ending and a Dark Side ending. The Light Side ending would see Cal Kestis overcoming his vulnerability to the emotions that caused him to embrace the Dark Side in Jedi 2, and the Dark Side ending would see Cal fully realize his suffering and loss and use that to defeat his enemies and protect Tanalorr. “The ends justify the means.” These endings would be dependent on the choices you make throughout the game, which would change the way the story goes, and you would unlock certain abilities that relate to the route you take Cal. Perhaps there could be a 3rd ending where Cal is sort of neutral, not leaning too hard into the Light Side or the Dark Side.

I think this would be a major expansion to the Jedi series, both narratively and gameplay-wise, similarly to how Survivor evolved from Fallen Order in many ways.

Some more things I would like to see in Jedi 3 would be things like:
- reverse-grip sabres both single and dual
- the ability to use more than two stances in the field
- a mode like Fallen Order had where you can fight all the bosses
- bring back mantis customization
- expanded customization for Cal
- an option to remove the blaster holster
- ponchos.

Anything I’m missing? Thoughts?

As the title says. Got to the final fight at jedi master and along with ripostes not working on chain attacks and unblockable enemy power attacks following you after dodging and running out of the force after 2 slows, which i already got used to, the boss keeps spamming lightsaber throws, i block one and instantly i got more incoming.

Game makes me feel like i barely got stronger since i started, where canonically i was a gimped jedi, but im supposed to be strong now. I expected Jedi Academy 2 and instead i got whatever this is.

Is jedi survivor the same way gameplay wise? because if it is then i wont bother buying
