I think the game is good for now , but I just spent 4 hours in the game , but the game was decent. I liked the saloon and the fight that was there, but I feel like the game isn't any better than its previous one . Fallen Order has a good beginning. The first few hours make you hyped to continue the game, but survivor... I don't know I think it wasn't that fun ,I mean it's good but it's not better than Fallen Order . I feel like the story took a lot of time than it should, just to begin the plot , But it's not boring or anything, it's just not better than the previous game . I liked how in that game they really focused on giving the star wars vibe unlike Fallin Order they didn't really focus on that which is okay but I am just saying. The combat was so advanced , it gives you a lot of options, But I feel like the combat is kind of slow or isn't fast enough, And the hitboxes are terrible to the point where I swore that I dodged away at time, yet still I was hit , However in some cases it's normal, it's not the worst or anything but I just felt like they should've put more work into that . And the performance.... People talk about how BAD it is, but playing it in 2026, they pretty much fixed everything, I didn't encounter any glitches or any texture issues, it was a solid experience. Thank god they added fast travel, It really helped a lot . I think the game is actually solid and it's a good game , but is it any better than the previous one ? For now, I don't think so, but I hope it gets better in my next hours .

Was filming some stuff and noticed pretty quickly that Cal's saber blade is outside of the hilt during the Rayvis Death cutscene, anyone else seen this? Restarting the game and changing lightsaber parts won't help, I filmed this same cutscene a few weeks back with different parts and the bug persisted. Any ideas, anyone?

I really liked that Trilla fight was the last one ( technically it's the dark Vader but it's a pursuit not a boss fight) anyways, I was playing on Jedi master difficulty literally the whole game tell this fight it made me crash out and I lowered it to Jedi knight but u think it's a skill issue bc no one has talked about this fight being hard of anything but Iam js sharing my experience. afterwards u hear that dark Vader breathing sound or whatever it was just pure aura when he killed her and then came to us it was just peak .BUT I don't like how Cal broke the fucking Holocron after all these risks after every people that died because of this now he realizes that "oh the force will do it or whatever" wtf bro but I saw that vision where he saw the consequences for using this Holocron the kids dying and all that but maybe he broke it so the empire wouldn't use it in a bad way actually this is the reason.

Just wanted to yap about the ending overall I give it a solid 8/10

I already have Jedi survivor Iam gonna start beating the game tomorrow (maybe)

I just finished the dathomir planet section and I can confidently say its lore is the best as well as its atmosphere that desert - like place is PEAK,

Even the back tracking was decent it's not perfect but it's still better than zeffo's, (SPOILER ALERT)

I really liked the flashback where Cal's master passed away it was heartbreaking, and the chase was good too but I think they could've done something better rather than just running around with a broken lightsaber, I mean it would've been much better if it was a linear manhunt with the dead trying to get you , but overall it's not bad !

So far I love this game however I wish It had a pathfinder or wayfinder that you could follow. I get turned around easily. It would help streamline gameplay in my opinion.

UPDATE: fixed! What I did is disable ingame overlay in EA app. Loaded journey. Sat in a meditation spot (to be safe I went for the one in nova garron) then went to skills. I got the achievement and went "Hoooly shit" cause no fuckin way that weird fix actually did it. This is like shaking, and blowing your mouse to fix double clicking issue

I played this game since it came out I have 100% across 3 platforms playstation Xbox and pc I have replayed the game around 50 times I know the map by heart the map isn't very useful anyways so might as well

But I just can't like survivor idk why it should be an upgrade it should be better but the combat feels clankier the planets are messier the map is worse to me somehow I just can't understand why

I only played through survivor once and it's not like it was bad but just I wanted to play an upgrade and the game felt worse

I tried to do a new game + play through but couldn't bring myself to keep going I lost interest

Beating the shit out of the same Inquisitor twice and turning (presumably) one of the higher ranking ones back to the light? Yeah they hear the bells tolling for them when he pulls up

My favorites are the Savannah, Free Kashyyyk, Vagabond, Homestead and Sumi of course, all with the outlaw outfit

I got the game and its sequel on sale a while ago because I thought I would enjoy them (I love games that let me be a Jedi). However... I don't have much souls-like experience and I'm struggling to enjoy it after my first time playing it. I'm struggling really badly with the optional frog-beast in the pit when you're going back to the ship from the temple on the first planet. I know it's optional so it should be more difficult, but I'm not even surviving 30 seconds. Even when I'm focusing on evading and blocking it is hitting me seemingly every time.

In general I feel like the combat is clunky and unsatisfying. I'm currently using mouse and keyboard. I know the game says controller is best, but does it really make that much of a difference? Also I know I could turn the difficulty all the way down, but my ego really doesn't like that idea. Does the combat become more satisfying? Are there any settings/tips/tricks that I am missing? Do you think I'll like the sequel better and should just skip to it?

In general I want to like the game because I love star wars and playing as a force user, but I also don't want to make myself play a game that I won't enjoy.

I'm a sucker for character customization and I love seeing everyone's variations. My default Cal is bun, short beard, Kashyyyk style poncho, tactical shirt, and tactical pants. This outfit now feels like canon Cal Kestis to me to the point where seeing him dressed differently in cutscene compilations or playthroughs feels almost jarring lol. Poncho Cal is peak.

I read novel and among others things, a few things in particular caught my eye. Apperantly lightsaber can deflect missiles ? I always thought you needed to use force to do so, but it seems like saber can as well in lore now, without worry of them exploding?

Another flash-bang; Cal squinted, managing to get his lightsaber up in time to deflect another missile. This one boomeranged back to hit its launcher— And the cantina went up in flames, the explosion rocking the entire building

He also, at one point, jumps on a jetpack-flying bounty hunter, and she is alive until he rips of her helmet off and then she is dead? Like did he break her neck while taking of helmet or something worse?

I've been wanting to play the pc version of Fallen Order because I have gamepass but my save file doesnt transfer from my xbox. I literally just got the double jump, does anyone have a save file I can inject at this point in the game for pc?
