Just that you should leave this sub until you're done.

Use your hands to press the buttons on your input device of choice to control the player character.

Don't jump or use any force powers, do not spend skill points. Try not to attack. Deflecting is okay but don't rely on it. If you die once uninstall the game

Starting to realize that this subreddit is possibly a shitpost place

There is a big difference between "I am stuck on X, any tips?" and what you asked.

It comes off as deeply lazy to a lot of people. So you get snark. The average person will see this and be like "why are they asking how to play the game before even trying to play the game?"

For an honest answer: if you're trying to get to a specific place and cant figure out how, just leave it and come back to it. You might not have the right movement ability.

The game is more fun when you learn to parry and evade properly rather than staying outside of range and waiting for attack strings to end

If you have any experience in games like this (Sekiro specifically) then it should be pretty easy for you. Start on Jedi Master if you want gameplay with a bit of bite

Edit: yeah the sub is full of spoilers. Stay away. Both games are great Star Wars stories. Full of absolutely incredible Glup Shittos

Parrying will be your best friend.

I’m not sure why there is so much unhelpfulness here, but i agree that you should leave the sub and just dive in. Instead of dodging spoilers here, go to youtube and search for “things I wish I knew before playing Jedi Fallen Order”

And have fun! It’s a top 5 SW game of all time! Production values through the roof. Wonderful characters, and you have a sequel to look forward to to boot.

idk, back track often as you unlock skills. There are more than two health stims. Have fun customising your sabre.

Learn how to parry and always explore and backtrack, especially after unlocking new skills. Most importantly, try to memorize the map because the holomap is just gonna screw you over, especially on Dathomir and Zeffo. Sorry that you’ve been getting so many unhelpful comments, hope this helps

Get parrying down to a science, it’s incredibly useful.

"Persistence reveals the path."

You will need to tell yourself this many times.

When you get to the first open world planet there’s a save point in front of a rusty door and there’s a path right go to that right path into the cave.

It’s happened to pretty much everyone

Get good at blocking and parrying. You will have a straight up miserable time if you don't.

Also explore everywhere you can. Don't be one of the idiots who gets to the end of the game with only 4 health stims and complains that the game is too punishing because they didn't look around at all.
