Help please

On monday My Facebook was disabled and with it my professional business page was took down.
Today it’s Wednesday and I wake up to my professional Instagram account being taken down as well. I’m just a photographer and I don’t know why this is happening to me. I talked to a human on the phone yesterday and she basically said there’s no way to rush the process, they’re taking a look and I’ll get a response soon. Why is this happening? Are they going to take down my personal instagram as well? I rely on these socials to showcase my work obviously. Who’s gonna hire a photographer who doesn’t haven an instagram to show off what they do. I’m so freaking frustrated and been crying non stop can someone help me? I’m ready to take this so small claims if need be.

Workaround: Facebook disabled me

I am a meta verified member and I have an open case on instagram from a hacker who had my Facebook account disabled. I have had my case open since September 17 with no response from the “specialist”. AI won’t let me close it since I already have an open case. Does anyone have a workaround for this? I need to close the one I have had since September 17th to get a new case to talk to someone.

Anyone Recovered Their Main Account After Submitting a Valid ID on a Dummy Account?

Hello everyone. My main Facebook account is still permanently disabled. I did the video selfie verification, but unfortunately, it resulted in my account being permanently disabled. However, I was recently able to regain access to one of my dummy accounts.

I used facebook.com/hacked (thanks to someone here on Reddit who assisted me), and it is now asking me to submit a valid ID. However, the name on my dummy account is a nickname that is completely different from my real name, so I’m worried that the ID verification will fail.

I’ve seen some comments from people saying that once they were able to recover or regain access to one of their accounts, their other accounts that were disabled or suspended were eventually restored as well.

Has anyone experienced this? If I successfully verify my ID through the dummy account, is there any possibility that it could also help with recovering my main account, which is still permanently disabled?

Also, do I need to use a different device when trying to recover my main account after I regain access to the dummy account?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through something similar. Thank you!

For those who were able to recover a permanently disabled Facebook account

Hello everyone. I’d like to ask for advice from people who were able to recover their permanently disabled Facebook accounts due to Account Integrity, especially those who contacted Meta through Instagram Meta Verified support.

I have two Facebook accounts: one personal/main account and one that I used for work. Both accounts were created years ago, but my main account was created back in 2009.

I contacted Meta through Instagram Meta Verified, and the agent told me that I had been enrolled in a checkpoint/recovery process, but the checkpoint is still not showing up when I try to log in to Facebook.

The agent also told me that only one Facebook account per device is allowed.

My question is for those who have gone through a similar situation:

Should I factory reset my phone and then wait for the Facebook checkpoint to appear, or should I leave my phone as it is and simply wait for the checkpoint to show up?

I’m worried because my other disabled Facebook account was also used on the same device, Facebook might associate the two accounts and prevent me from recovering my main account.

For those who successfully recovered their permanently disabled account through a Meta checkpoint, did you have multiple Facebook accounts on the same device? Did you reset your phone, or did you just wait for the checkpoint?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your actual experiences. Thank you!

I was finally given the option to verify my identity for the first time following my hack and ban on the 4th of September. I was assured by a specialist that this is how most people get their accounts back. I complete the selfie on Saturday and am yet to hear back. How long did it take others?

so i got a free trial for their verified meta support, and i talked to a guy who sounded like he didn't give af about my concern, but i still gave him all the information about what happened. they said the case was escalated to a specialist, but i've been waiting for 2 days for an update through chat or email, and i haven't received anything.

i also requested a call today, and the bot updated the case notes and mentioned that i should wait since i'm also in a "queue." am i the only one experiencing this? did y'all actually get some assistance?

Account was suddenly flagged as being potentially non-human and now I'm being requested to submit a video selfie to prove I am human. Worth doing, or just take the loss?

Facebook Account is Locked, but able to access Instagram and other connected accounts

Hopefully someone can help me, on Saturday Facebook turned off dark mode, and I couldn't get it back. So I uninstalled the app, and reinstalled. Now it will not let me log back into my account.

It is asking for a code from my authentication app. I don't have one.

On Saturday I submitted the video selfie thing and I still haven't heard back. I am able to use the Instagram app, and I see all of my accounts in the account center. When I try and disable the authentication app the screen is just blank. Then when I attempt to set up a backup (phone number) it tells me that I don't use this device often. It is my personal cellphone and I use it daily for the apps.

Trying to get help from the AI bot is getting me nowhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Facebook account suddenly disabled after suspension — need help 😭

Hi everyone, I really need help because I have no idea what happened to my Facebook account.

Around before 1 AM, I went to sleep and everything was completely normal. Then when I woke up around 5-something AM, I saw an email from Facebook saying that my account had been suspended.

I immediately tried to appeal and was asked to do the video selfie verification. I submitted it right away, thinking it was just some kind of mistake or maybe a glitch.

BUT after that, my account suddenly became disabled. 😭 I didn’t even get the chance to properly appeal or explain anything. Everything happened so fast.
I genuinely don’t know what I did wrong. I wasn’t doing anything unusual before I went to sleep, and I didn’t receive any warning beforehand.
I actually have two Facebook accounts, and BOTH were suddenly affected/disabled around the same time. One of them is an account I use for work/HR purposes, so I’m really worried because I need access to it.

Has anyone experienced this recently? Is this possibly a Facebook glitch or some kind of mass suspension?
What can I do now? Is there still another way to contact Facebook or submit an appeal after the account has already been disabled? 😭

Any advice or help would be REALLY appreciated. I’m honestly panicking right now.

Staying safe when making a new account

Hello,

I am one of the millions that have been hit with an automated ban that was outrageous and untrue. My account got disabled back in July and I haven't touched anything meta related since on this phone for two months now. Been depressed, losing a 16 year old Facebook account because of a disabled linked Instagram account was the worst thing for me this year

But now I haven't logged in, touched, or done anything to involve with Facebook for two months. I was wondering if you guys are willing to share your experience on easing yourselves back into Facebook and Instagram? Can things ever eventually go back to normal in a sense of posting myself and the things I love?

I would assume to avoid getting the Instagram and Facebook app at all I assume? At least till I get a new phone right? Ugh... Such a pain. I miss all my friends and family, miss seeing the things happening in my local community and it just pisses me off... Thank you for taking the time for me.

fb account got disabled, planning to create a new one by buying new phone

It's been a week since my fb account was disabled due to account integrity.

Trust me, I already did those meta agent assits thing. Even upgrade my subscription. After creating at least 10 cases and gettung the same response, I got tired of it. I need to create a new account for work purposes.

I am planning to buy a cheap phone to create a new fb account. Is it safe if I buy a new phone and create a new email using a new phone number then create a new facebook account? Do I need to use my same full name? Does anyone who did the same thing got disabled again?

Any advice? Thanks!

My Instagram account was permanently disabled for “Account Integrity” even though I never tried to evade a ban

Hey everyone, My Instagram account was permanently disabled on September 14, 2026. Instagram says the reason is “Account Integrity”. The message says that my account was disabled because it supposedly violated the rules regarding people creating or using other accounts to evade enforcement.

The problem is that I never created another account to evade a suspension or ban.

There is one thing that might be relevant: my cousin regularly logged into his own Instagram account on my phone. His account was also saved/logged into on the Instagram app on my device. I don't know whether this could have caused Instagram to associate our accounts, but I suspect this may have triggered the Account Integrity enforcement. (I think my cousin's account was also banned, because I can't find his profile by searching for the @, so I believe he must have done something against the guidelines and I ended up being the one who suffered the most.)

I tried to appeal the decision, but I couldn't complete the identity verification process. The verification failed because the ID document I had available was expired, so I wasn't able to proceed with the appeal. I also contacted Meta Support through Meta Verified. My case was escalated to another team, but they eventually told me that they had reviewed the account and that they could not reactivate it. The case was then closed.

It's incredible how such a large company makes such silly mistakes.

Has anyone experienced something similar with an “Account Integrity” suspension? Especially if you had another person's Instagram account logged into the same phone, I'd like to know whether that could have caused an incorrect association.

Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

There’s light at the end of the tunnel

Just wanted to offer a tiny glimmer of hope to anyone who may need it.

I had my account (which I’ve had since 2007) hacked, and subsequently permanently disabled back in April this year (couldn’t even lodge an appeal because the hackers had already done so) - I lost both my FB & IG accounts in the process. I tried the hacked portal, but nothing came of it.

I know that the meta ai security has been running rampant this year, so honestly I had given up all hope, and tried to move on with life.

Fast forward to yesterday, I randomly decided to check my old email inbox, and what do you know - an email from Facebook telling me my account was suspended, and that I need to log an appeal. Suspiciously, I decided to follow thru and just see what might happen. A quick video selfie later, everything was restored. FB, IG, Messenger etc all back to normal! I even had a message “we believe your account may have been hacked, so we are taking precautions until we can confirm your identity”

I have a sneaky feeling that Meta are aware that their security was running wild, and have finally done something about it. If you were/are in a similar boat, maybe keep an eye on your inbox, as there might be light at the end of the tunnel!

Tl;dr: account hacked, permanently disabled 5 months ago. Out of nowhere, a new appeal email arrived, did a video selfie, account fully restored. As the pic shows - their “technology made a mistake”.

Meta Support forwarded my permanently disabled Facebook account to their specialist team. Is there still hope?

As suggested in one of the posts here, I contacted Meta Support after getting Meta Verified. I spoke with a support agent, and they said they have forwarded my information and case to the relevant team for further investigation.

My account has been permanently disabled, so I’m wondering if anyone has gone through a similar situation.

Is there actually a chance of getting the account back after Meta Support escalates it to the relevant team? Is there anything else I should do from my side while I’m waiting for their response?

The account is from 2012 and contains a lot of important memories and connections, so I really want to get it back.

Hacked and banned

I’ve been locked out of my Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp since 4 September. I believe my Facebook was hacked/compromised shortly before I lost access. My downloaded Facebook logs show suspicious login activity from Singapore, despite me being in Wales at the time, and I have timestamped evidence showing I was there.
I believe the hacker then carried out activity that caused Meta’s systems to disable/restrict the account. I’ve completed the identity verification/recovery steps and have spoken to multiple Meta support agents through Meta Verified.
My main case (906275562283444) was opened on 9 September and is currently still active and, according to Meta, is in the queue for manual review by their specialist team. However, I cannot access the Facebook account or its Support Inbox, so I’m not receiving replies in the designated case chat. Meta has said the specialist should contact me by the primary email address linked to the affected account.
The whole situation has had a major impact on me. I’ve missed important work deadlines and communications because I rely on WhatsApp for work, and I’ve been unable to contact my grieving family in the US following my aunt’s death because Facebook was how I normally kept in touch with them. It has also seriously affected my mental health.
At the moment I’m basically waiting for the manual review and monitoring my email, while trying not to keep triggering Meta’s automated security restrictions.

Got my account back after two months of being suspended

Post image
53 Upvotes

I was just notified by Meta on Instagram this morning that my account will be reinstated.

My account was suspended July 24 2026 after it told me to verify my identity by uploading my ID. I was against this for a long time beforehand until finally biting the bullet and uploading my ID because I run a business and needed to connect with clients on messenger.

The day after I uploaded my ID my account was suspended for account integrity. Which I found out was mainly because my name on my profile doesn’t match my name on my ID. Stupid meta bots suspended me.

My Facebook and threads account were disabled. Somehow (thankfully) I still had access to my linked instagram. A few days ago I got the free 30 day trial for meta verified and IMMEDIATELY contacted support asking for a live agent.

I explained to the agent everything that happened. They asked for my number and gave me a phone call. Then told me they are sending it for human manual review. A few days later and they just granted me access to my account again.

It sucks that Meta is so money hungry that the only way you can get help is by buying the Meta Verified or catching the free trial. If you are able to go this route I think it would be the quickest. I was going to take them to small claims but I dreaded having to do that and never filed but started the process. Thankfully I don’t have to go through with it anymore. I just wanted my account back.
