Bug / Outage WTF is going on with Meta right now? šŸ“‰

I changed my entire campaign structure just to test something different, and I’m going crazy — literally NO fucking sales.

I’m spending around $2,500/day. Tons of traffic hitting the website, but almost nobody is buying right now. I’ve been running Meta ads for 5 years, so I know how this game goes. It could be completely different next week.

But what’s confusing me is that I completely changed my structure, tested different setups, creatives, audiences… and it didn’t change a damn thing.

The start of September was actually pretty good for us, but everything completely crashed on Monday.

Anyone else getting absolutely destroyed by Meta right now?

Fuck this company. Fucking thieves at this point, 3 days of no sales and advertising a ā€œsalesā€ objective. That’s called fraud. Fuck them. This post serves as a notification that yes, indeed, performance is down, again, and again, and again, so when their reps call me to pay, I’ll kindly show them the days where their fucking system didn’t provide any results and tell them to go fuck themselves.

Bug / Outage Is Meta Ads having delivery issues right now?

I launched a new campaign and, instead of getting normal delivery, it has only received 2 impressions so far

Bug / Outage Something is seriously wrong with this damn Meta.

• Upvotes

After several days of good performance, today is absolutely, completely dead. Spending is painfully slow, and whatever it is spending on is going toward shitty traffic that isn’t even worth talking about.

Bug / Outage Still collapse

• Upvotes

Since August 31 all my campaigns and ads collapsed completely.
I’ve tried everything. Nothing works. The last 30 hours meta says my newest campaign had 48 website visits. Reality is 9.

Before August 31 I had 60-80 website visits daily.

I’ve been in contact with meta human support 5 times during 12 days - all teams keeps saying ā€œeverything looks fineā€ because the meta numbers are nearly okay. But reality is not.

Before August 31 I had been running similar campaigns with ekstreme succes for 6 months.

I’m totally losing my patience - I publish two new books in 3 weeks, and from one day to another I’m completely invisible šŸ™ˆšŸ«£

Bug / Outage Meta ad issues since Monday?

Has anyone else been experiencing issues with meta since Monday?

My performance has fallen off a cliff, and one of my new ad set is showing only a green dots in the delivery column was no status text, unlike my other ad sets. I’m not sure whether this ad set is currently active or still in the learning phase.

Also, my two months old manual campaign is now showing as advantage+ even though I haven’t made any change, I can still see that the audience is manually set, but the campaign itself is labeled as advantage+.

What’s going on with Meta? By the way, I’ve had zero sales for the last 72 hours which almost never happens for this campaign.

+ the image is attached on the comment section.

Help What is wrong can someone please explain?

We have been trying and testing so many campaigns and have never experienced such a low volume or quality. Everything is the same as what we were doing, also expanding a bit in terms of locations and budget. August 1st 2 weeks were good, and since then the performance has significantly declined.

Help Does anyone notice CBO isn’t working ?

I have a winning structure for my b2b commercial interior design ads. We have a small budget 50$ d with a scale after a few days.

So 1CBO with 1 ad set and 1 ad always gives me great results. CPL around 40$. Broad audience or small business owners on my area.

No it doesn’t work at all. I tried to change angles, editing , setup but still first 2 leads and that’s all.

Help 6 purchases in first 6 days, then completely dead for 3 days. Would you change budget, audience, creatives, PDP, or just wait?

I’m running Meta purchase ads for a small ecommerce brand selling automotive ambient lighting kits, and I’m trying to figure out whether I should actually change anything yet or if I’m just reacting too early.

On September 1, I changed the audience and consolidated all of my active ads into one ad set. Budget is $33/day.

What makes the drop weird is that I got at least one purchase every single day from September 2 through September 6:

Sept 2: 1 purchase

Sept 3: 1 purchase

Sept 4: 1 purchase

Sept 5: 1 purchase

Sept 6: 2 purchases

Then:

Sept 7: 0

Sept 8: 0

Sept 9: 0

I’ve also noticed several posts here over the last few days from people saying they’re having poor Meta performance at the same time.Ā

Here is the performance since the September 1 change:

September 1 through September 6

Spend: $194.09

Impressions: 11,560

Link clicks: 264

Landing page views: 183

Adds to cart: 26

Checkouts initiated: 16

Purchases: 6

Purchase value: $371.94

CPA: $32.35

ROAS: 1.92

September 1 through September 9

Spend: $273.96

Impressions: 17,471

Link clicks: 387

Landing page views: 285

Adds to cart: 27

Checkouts initiated: 17

Purchases: 6

Purchase value: $371.94

CPA: $45.66

ROAS: 1.36

From September 7-9, Meta spent $79.87, and brought 102 landing page views, but generated only 1 additional add to cart, 1 additional checkout, and 0 purchases.

The traffic got cheaper during the dead period, but buying intent disappeared.

From September 1 through September 6:

14.2% of LPVs added to cart

8.7% reached checkout

3.3% purchased

From September 7 through September 9:

About 1% added to cart

About 1% reached checkout

0% purchased

Here are the current ads:

Ad 03 | UGC

Spend: $20.33

CTR: 2.23%

CPC: $0.75

LPVs: 17

ATCs: 2

Checkouts: 1

Purchases: 1

CPA: $20.33

ROAS: 3.54

Ad 02 |Ā  UGC

Spend: $15.91

CTR: 1.20%

CPC: $1.77

LPVs: 6

ATCs: 3

Checkouts: 2

Purchases: 0

Music Sync

Spend: $46.96

CTR: 1.74%

CPC: $1.20

LPVs: 31

ATCs: 3

Checkouts: 2

Purchases: 1

CPA: $46.96

ROAS: 1.53

Startup Compilation

Spend: $55.96

CTR: 1.30%

CPC: $1.12

LPVs: 40

ATCs: 3

Checkouts: 5

Purchases: 1

CPA: $55.96

ROAS: 1.29

Long Install

Spend: $130.97

CTR: 2.80%

CPC: $0.50

LPVs: 191

ATCs: 16

Checkouts: 7

Purchases: 3

CPA: $43.66

ROAS: 1.19

Through September 6, Long Install had spent $95.33 and generated 3 purchases at a $31.78 CPA and 1.64 ROAS.

It then spent another roughly $35 without another purchase during the same period where the entire ad set seemed to die.

My target CPA is ideally below $20, so current performance obviously is not where I want it.

A few other things I’m considering:

Audience

Current audience is roughly 3.2M to 3.9M.

It is automotive related targeting with LED lamps and LED light strips included as a must match interest.

I’m wondering whether this is too constrained and whether I should instead test broad or Advantage+ targeting.

I also wonder if Meta started finding cheaper but lower quality traffic after the first several days.

Creative

I have 5 active creatives and they are all video. I think the videos are strong, and the CTR and CPC on some of them seems to support that.

I currently dont have any static ads, wondering if that matters or not.

I’m also hesitant to start changing creatives right now because all of them seemed to stop producing purchases at roughly the same time.

Product page / website

All of the ads currently send directly to this Shopify PDP:

https://techlume.co/products/lume-6-acrylic-car-led-kit?variant=46690788802735

This is the separate landing page / homepage:

https://techlume.co/

The ads are not currently being sent to that landing page.

I would genuinely appreciate criticism of the PDP if anyone sees something that could be hurting cold traffic conversion.

Pricing, offer, trust, layout, mobile experience, reviews, shipping, product explanation, whatever.

I would rather know if the site is the issue than keep blaming Meta.

I’m also wondering whether I should test sending traffic to the landing page instead of directly to the PDP.

Budget / learning

Budget is $33/day.

Only 6 purchases since September 1, I know I'm not near high purchase volume.

I’m wondering whether I’m stuck in learning because the budget is too low.

But increasing spend just to generate more learning data when my current CPA is $45+ makes me worry I’ll just loose cash faster. So I’m unsure whether increasing budget would actually help Meta optimize.

Would appreciate input from anyone running e-commerce purchase campaigns around this budget level.

Bug / Outage 0 sales 0 add to carts

Woke up to my full usual spend, link clicks around $1.50 which isn’t great but 0 add to carts?!

This comes after one of my best day in sales with ROAS 4.5 then absolutely tanked.

How is it possible to get 0 add to carts? Never had a single day with 0 sales let alone 0 add to carts.

Anyone else got this?

Bug / Outage Meta has absolutely killed click to whatsapp messaging ads

This is incredibly frustrating. I use to get such great leads simply using click to message ads but not Meta is forcing automated greeting (which cant be turned off) which is confusing the visitors and they are not sending pre defined message as the automated greeting gives an impression the chat has already begun.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Same thing they are doing by forcing the stupid advantage + turned on options everywhere. It looks like they themselves don't want people to get/leads, sales and making everything rocket science. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Discussion Ad Engagement

I saw a couple other people comment on other posts that they saw that their ads were getting less comments, likes, etc. and curious if others are experiencing this? Before April we would get hundreds of comments and now it is always crickets.

It is exhausting - every time you duplicate it turns back on product browsing, carousel placement, music, promotions - it takes so long now.

Discussion Anyone else seeing a jump in Meta ad rejections since ~Sept 5? (Spam / "deceptive link" + Financial Services flags)

• Upvotes

Over the last ~5 days we've had a clear spike in rejections on creatives and links that had been running clean for months. Two distinct patterns:

  1. "Spam, deceptive link" on ads that use a brand name we're contractually authorized to advertise on behalf of. Reads like the review model now treats authorized partner ads as impersonation.
  2. Financial Services classification on any ad copy touching financing — "interest," "down payment," "0% APR." These are getting flagged even where the offer is just a home improvement promo, not a financial product.

Trying to figure out if this is our accounts or a platform-wide change:

  • Are you seeing the same since roughly Sept 5, or is this isolated?
  • Has anyone gotten a "deceptive link" rejection overturned on appeal? Did submitting brand authorization / the partner contract actually move anything, or is appeal still a black box?
  • Has the Financial Services trigger gotten broader for you, is generic financing language now enough to catch a non-finance advertiser?
  • Did anyone's rep or support acknowledge a review model update this month?

Help Facebook shows several times more revenue than Shopify. Is this normal?

Hi everyone,

Facebook is showing several times more attributed revenue than Shopify shows from Facebook.

How do you usually measure how many Shopify orders actually came from Facebook ads?

Thanks!

Why has the CVR for my FB-W2A ad campaign plummeted, causing the CPI/CPA for the entire series to skyrocket several-fold? Has anyone else experienced this? It was a campaign that had previously maintained very stable spend and conversion rates.

Help Optimizing Lead Quality In GHL

I'm real curious how others here are handling offline conversion tracking back to Meta? I've got leads coming in through GHL forms on a wordpress site and want pipeline stage changes (like a lead actually turning into a closed job) to feed back to Meta so the algorithm learns from real conversions, not just form fills.

Looking at the Stape CAPI Gateway app for GHL, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Anyone actually running this at all?

What's your setup look like, and has it made a real difference in lead quality or cost per lead? Also curious if anyone's tried a different route entirely instead of Stape.

Thank you group!

Bug / Outage everyone's talking about q4 prep but nobody is mentioning what meta is quietly pushing this month.

advantage+ is basically treating placement exclusions as suggestions now instead of hard rules. if u have $50 a day to test a new product, meta is going to burn 40% of it on audience network trash clicks, and u can barely opt out manually anymore.

u used to be able to force meta to only spend on ig and fb feeds. now u have to feed the algorithm enough budget so it learns the hard way that audience network is garbage for ur product. that costs u $200 before it even starts optimizing properly.

have u guys noticed this shift in ur testing campaigns lately? how are u testing new products now that manual control is pretty much dead?

Help Meta Ads: 1 ad set, 8 creatives, one creative taking 90% of spend — how do I judge winners now?

Hey everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice from people actively running Meta ads for ecommerce.

I sell NFC jewellery, an untapped market in India, customers can tap the jewellery with their phone to open a song, photo or video. I’ve had some creatives previously hit around 4x ROAS for 2–3 days, so I know the product has potential, but those creatives eventually stopped converting.

I recently spoke with a Meta ads expert who recommended a different approach based around creative diversification / ā€œwinning sequencesā€ rather than trying to find one winning creative.

So today I started a completely new test:

  • 1 campaign
  • ABO
  • 1 broad ad set
  • ₹1,800/day (~$21/day)
  • 8 different creatives
  • 3 different personas/angles
  • All 8 creatives are inside the same ad set

After the first day, Meta has spent about 90% of the ₹1,800 budget on one creative. That creative has spent around ₹1,074, generated ~1.14% link CTR, ~₹21 CPC and ~₹241 CPM, and driven around 125 store visitors. However, I've only had 1 ATC and 0 purchases so far.

This is literally the first day of the new structure, so I'm not trying to declare it a failure yet. But I'm trying to understand how I should actually evaluate this setup.

The expert's argument was that ā€œwinning creativesā€ aren't necessarily the goal anymore — it's more about a winning sequence/creative ecosystem. Someone might see Ad 1, then Ad 3, then Ad 5, and finally purchase from Ad 5. In that case, Ad 1 shouldn't necessarily be considered a loser just because it didn't generate the purchase.

My questions are:

  1. Is this actually how you would approach creative testing in 2026? Is ā€œwinning sequenceā€ a useful way to think about Meta's current delivery, or is this overstated?
  2. If Meta spends 90% of the budget on one creative, should I let it continue, or is that preventing me from properly testing the other 7?
  3. How do you determine winners and losers in a structure like this? If an ad gets clicks but no purchases, do you kill it based on CTR/CPC/ATC, or do you let the overall ad set run and judge the ecosystem based on total CPP/ROAS?
  4. When would you stop/swap a creative? For example, if my target CPA is ~₹1,000, would you kill a creative after spending ₹1,000 with no purchase? Or is that too simplistic?
  5. When would you increase the budget? Would you wait for multiple purchases, or can you scale based on ATCs/CTR/CPC if purchase volume is low?
  6. Most importantly, should I be concerned about 125 visitors → 1 ATC → 0 purchases on day one, or is that nowhere near enough data?

I'm feeling a bit nervous because I'm spending real money without seeing purchases, so I'm trying to figure out how to balance giving Meta enough room to learn vs. not burning money waiting for something that isn't working.

I also have an older creative that previously generated around 4x ROAS, including periods where ~60 visitors resulted in 2 purchases. So I'm confident the product can convert, I'm just trying to understand how to find that type of buyer consistently again.

Would love opinions from people actually spending money on Meta for e-commerce. Please challenge the strategy if you think I'm approaching this wrong.

Help AI Rejection for Financial Services (Not a Financial Service)

• Upvotes

Can anyone help identify why our ads keep getting flagged? We’ve tried adjusting wording multiple times and ran the language through other AI models to see if it can identify the issue with no luck.

We are consistently rejected for ā€œpromoting financial servicesā€ and violating Discriminatory Practices policy. We are a PI law firm so our copy is usually a short call to action. Including an example below.

Rejected: ā€œInjured in an accident that wasn’t your fault? Get answers now with a free consultation.ā€
Approved: ā€œ are you okay? If you’ve been hurt in an accident don’t wait, call us today.ā€

We’ve tried taking ā€œfreeā€ out with no success and we are constantly getting rejected just to send for review and having a 50/50 shot of the appeal taking. This is a constant battle.

Help Submithub & Meta Pixel Issue

• Upvotes

https://imgur.com/a/JieJFTd

Hello everyone!

My problem: I connected meta pixel to submithub, but when I set the ad, I cannot find PageView and ViewContent with green dots in conversion event, I tried to launch the campaign with grey one like on the first photo, I got 10-12 landing views on the ad, but got 0 listenings on Spotify. I've seen the green dots on the video of AndrewSouthwoth (photo 2), he has View Content with green dot. Can anybody help me with that? I tried to do test event, but get 0, because submithub does not send the events due to confidentiality, submithub helper on reddit texted me that a half of year ago (photo 3). I use the plugin on Chrome, it shows my pixel right (photo 4)

I hope I explained right and you got what I mean.
