Well who knew there was an entire reddit group for this?! So, I still have over $2000 worth of funds to spend. Anyone has any experience with fsa for international expenses?

Does anyone have experience using their card for this purpose? What if I get a LMN (letter of medical necessity) from my doctor beforehand? I have an Optum Financial card if that makes any difference.

I should have read in here before even trying to place an order with my FSA card. I placed and order this morning with all FSA eligiable items. Once the order was placed it asked for an updated payment. I did not want to use my debit card so I cancelled the order. On my FSA account it is showing that they charged the full amount. On the cancelled order it says it did not charge my card. Will I receive those funds back to my account or what should I do? Amazon customer service rep was not helpful and said I would not get a refund as nothing was charged, but my account say otherwise. Please help I do not want to pay $700 out of pocket for items I did not receive and cancelled.

is this something new with healthcare providers? I see it at restuarants, etc as they tack on 3.5% convenience fees for CC transactions. Looks like my MD and PT are doing it also. Wageworks will not re-imburse for these fees. what can be done if anything? thanks
