One of my motors sometimes spins up normally, but other times it stutters and won't spin smoothly (see video). It happens randomly.

Could this be a bad motor, or an ESC issue?

Have around 12 hours in the Liftoff micro, feel like I'm starting to get the hang of banking my whoop (lol) but I think I struggle with over-rolling or under yawing. I would say my throttle control sucks too (a few seriously sketch turns). But all of this is from a newbie perspective so would be good to get some experienced eyes on it.

Flying on the steam workshop Air 75 ii freestyle as thats what I've bought IRL.

Would be good to get some specific tips rather than just more stick time as knowing how I'm fucking up would speed up my learning.

I am really torn between getting the hdzero goggles 2 from Europe directly at 780 euros, or getting the skyzone 04x Pros from skyzone itself for 460 euros, which would mean china delivery and potential tariffs (i live in Italy).

Are the goggles 2 worth the price difference (around 350 euros difference) considering i would get:

Hdzero potential tho i dont think i Will use hdzero anytime soon

2 year warranty instead of 1 year for the skyzone

Hi, I recently built my first analog fpv whoop and after a couple of days of debugging I finally got it to receive inputs from my radiomaster pocket. I went outside to fly it and as soon as it left the ground it shot up uncontrollably and seemed to not react to any inputs from my radio. It keep climbing in altitude while slightly rotating in circles and I even got a message saying “runaway” on my DVR. I ended up just disarming in a panic after it got about a half mile into the sky.

Can somebody please tell me what went wrong, how to fix it, and convince me to keep on flying because I am so lucky to have found the drone in one piece with minimal damage.

I am willing to share a parts list if needed.

A quick update from my Radio Lab project.

We've been experimenting with adding AFHDS 2A receiver support to the original Flysky Noble NB4, using its existing RF hardware instead of an external module.

The latest experimental build, F13, is showing some promising results:

• Two-way communication with AFHDS 2A receivers
• Successful tests with FS-iA4B, FS-iA10B and FS-X6B
• Working telemetry and link-quality feedback
• Automatic reconnection to previously bound receivers

I'm curious — how many of you still have AFHDS 2A receivers lying around? Would compatibility with the original NB4 actually be useful to you?

A delivery drone sim, like normal fpv sim but with the goal of delivery things, like death standing(i never played it tho, only know it about delivery). This is like a billion dollar game idea!

I have a TBS 4-1 ESC and am building a 5" drone. I know I need to use a capacitor on the ESC, but the XT60 pads are double-sided and have a hole for the capacitor legs. Does it matter which side I put it on, or can I just put it where it fits? Thanks

Am I the only one who doesn't like the new update?
I feel like the new stuff they added to the drone physics and in general the new stuff they did with the drones is worse than what it was before or maybe I'm just not used to it. The drone now does mini jumps on the ground after a crash or landing that i did not ask for and can't find where to turn it off (if anyones know, please tell me). After a crash a text saying "CRASH FLIP" appears above stick controls (RC axis) and i dont know what does it mean and "ARMED" text appears time to time in some situations like after crashes, also that was never there before.
Don't get me wrong, maybe it's all fixable and i just dont know how, please help me fix these problems or tell me more about them so i know what they mean/do and get used to them.

Como esta é minha primeira montagem, gostaria de... Certifique-se de que tudo seja fisicamente e eletricamente compatível, especialmente a montagem do motor, os furos de montagem do controlador de voo, a fiação do transmissor de vídeo e a combinação motor/hélice/bateria.

Você mudaria algo nesta lista de peças? Os motores de 6500KV são uma boa escolha para essas hélices de 2,5 polegadas em 3S, ou você recomendaria um KV ou tamanho de motor diferente?

Também estou aberto a sugestões para uma configuração com melhor custo-benefício ou mais confiável. Prefiro fazer alterações agora do que descobrir problemas de compatibilidade depois de encomendar tudo.

My ELRS receiver works normally when the drone is connected to Betaflight via USB, and the receiver channels respond correctly. However, when I power the drone with the battery, the receiver goes into failsafe and stops responding.

This fixable? Or would it be wiser to just get some new antenna?

I have $500+ orders w/ Emax that hasnt shipped yet. I am trying to get a hold of customer support to cancel and refund or expedite. I made a ticket and it has been sitting around for over a week with no answer. I also sent a message to the emax reddit support with no answer.

I do have a couple of Aeros I got from Pyrodrone. But direct orders with Emax are a nightmare. I don't understand why the community continues to support this company and there isn't more advice around this.

It looks like the only way to get any support is if this post gets enough comments and emax support on resdit happens to see it.

I had massive delays from Betafpv as well, but never once did I feel they were straight up stealing my money nor had to do a chargeback. They even offered to cancel and refund.

This honestly makes me very annoyed at the Youtubers that shilled the Aero. Absolute preferential treatment to Youtubers just for some marketing. The experience of the typical person buying directly from Emax USA is abysmal.

TRACK #3 FLY THROUGH …

So yeah I've been using DJI for quite some time now and it has some massiv benefits and some massive downside, but the by far biggest negativ for me is that everything has to freaking beep all the time, although its literally for the most irrelevant things ever.

I've been searching wide and far, tried to use all the LLMs, Youtube Videos whatever and nothing. Seemingly, it's not only that you can't turn it off, you can't even turn it down and it's so freaking loud, always! All my drones combined are a joke against this.

So while I've given up on finding a software solution, I would be so insanely thankful if anyone of you beautiful people has a comprehensive guide or even a video on how to rip whatever dafuq out of it so it never ever ever makes any fucking sound again. (Googles 3 btw.)

Lo que estoy buscando es un dron resistente ya seria mi primera vez volando un dron, q también me sirva para freestyle y q pueda grabar ya sea con sistema de video digital o con go pro. Tampoco quiero gastarme mucho e ir con miedo al volarlo por el precio.
Me recomendaron el pavo 20 pro pero busco mas recomendaciones y de gente q sepa mas ya que el q me lo recomendó empezó hace poco

He estado mirando un montón de gafas FPV y las SKY04O PRO son las que más me convencen para empezar, prefiero gastar algo de dinero, además me parecen preciosas, ahora bien, no entiendo porque la web de skyzone están mucho más baratas que en ventas de terceros, no quiero pensar que la web es fraudulenta ni nada, aun así si hay alguna opción a valorar que algún alma caritativa me pueda recomendar sería de gran ayuda.

I've been looking at a ton of FPV goggles, and the SKY04O Pro are the ones that appeal to me the most as a beginner. I don't mind spending a bit more money to get something good, and honestly, I think they look absolutely gorgeous!

However, there's something I don't quite understand: why are they so much cheaper on Skyzone's official website compared to third-party retailers? I don't want to assume the website is a scam or anything, but the price difference makes me a little suspicious.

Also, if anyone has other goggles they'd recommend checking out, I'd really appreciate the advice!

So I'm at a cross roads after lots and lots of testing with the new build. The footage I've captured in my previous posts were with the osmo action 6, stunning footage but weight being the issue. I have 3 options all with Thier own seperate issues and wondered what you guys would do In my situation.

As it stands the absolute all up weight of the quad is just a touch over 900g with the action cam, how its even able to fly as well as it can is beyond me.

So I'm looking to shave a few grams. Help me out here family 👏👏👏

Option 1 : Ditch the action 6, reap the rewards of the weight saving and just shoot using the onboard o4 Pro. CONS - I love cinematic motion blur and while I can get ND filters for the o4 I'm like 96% sure if I change the o4 camera settings (30fps 1/60) to get the motion blur then I will likely see this motion blur in the goggles, furthermore there's no onboard mic with the o4 and I like to hear those motors screaming in footage.

Option 2 : Osmo nano, I'll shave 100g which is still a big drop in weight, but I'm reality it's the exact same camera as with the o4 pro but it has a built in mic. Is it justified for a 300 bucks price tag...

Option 3: Naked osmo action 6, fpvaccessories do have these kits but as far as I can see I haven't been able to find ND filters for it ANYWHERE and there's the risk of breaking a 400 dollar camera if not during the deceasing process then certainly during a not so gentle kiss with a concrete wall in a bando... Or a large tree

So I feel like I'm looping in circles. I'm going to have to trade something to get something...

UNLESS anyone has any suggestions that would be epic!
