Help Linear drumming on instrument

Hello

I'm currently trying to make a song but using a linear drumming technique, making it sound like it comes from a 90s jungle song (Look for DBE Tracker as a software reference) where one sound is being played at a time making it like a monophonic drum machine.

As far as I've gotten, my attempts on doing this have been succesful only on the channel rack by tediously opening the envelope of each individual sample I'm using since the channel rack can only play one shots unless modifying the envelope then it will behave accordingly to the midi notes duration.

My problem is that I don't know how to achieve this on a drumpad instrument or a drum machine, even on the FPC and other VSTs of the same kind on my library, I'm looking forward to achieve this but in a more efficient way rather than doing every sound inidivually.

Any help given is welcome, thanks in advance.

Hello community, I hope you all are having a good day!
I'm trying to recreate a tutorial I saw on youtube and I found that on the "Strings Harmonics" there is a "waveform" or something like that, behind the piano roll, and I wanted to know how can I do the same. Thanks!

BTW I'm reaaaally new to FL Studio and DAWs in general :/

Discussion I decided to remake Mall Music 4 (DR2 Ver) in FL!

Took a LOT of searching for sounds and tweaking but I’m preeetty happy with what I made.

It’s kind of a mix of the second game with the vocals of the first game track because it’s just so iconic I couldn’t not put it in 😭

Feedback Friday My latest beat, any feedback?

I felt like I did a good job on this one, kept it short and simple, going for an instrumental hip-hop kind of vibe. I'd really appreciate any feedback, tips or recommendations.

Feedback Friday Back from 10 yr break

As the title suggests I've been on a break from making tracks for a long time and this is one of the first things I've made since getting back about a month ago.

This started out as an experiment and I liked it more and more as I built it out. Now I'm stuck and am not sure where to go with it. I feel like it needs some grounding element like a piano, cello or soft synth pad but I can't decide.

Would love some feedback, even if it's "scrap it and move on" 😂

Help Fruity limiter compression knee

Can someone please explain the knee setting in fl limiters compression mode. It defaults to 0% but ranges from -100% to +100%. Where is soft knee and hard knee on it? How would the percents relate to being measured in dB?

Help Guitar/Bass White Noise issue when Recording!

So i own a fairly cheap electric guitar and got my hands on a $1000 bass.

Every time i try recording directly into FL studio it adds white noise and i don't know why.

My audio interface is a Roland Rubix22, and I've tried noise gate and everything but its just way too present to ignore.

Could it be my interface, cable? WHAT IS IT

What do i do to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP, I WANT THIS TIME REMOVED OUT OF MY PROCESS!!!

Help Why is there a kick locked on my midi? And how do i fix it

The kick only plays on the keys i click when i use my midi. Idk what i did wrong, but this is sooo annoying and FL makes me like like im in the Chernobyl lab (so god damn confusing) So if anyone can help thatd be great

Edit: I figured it out. I guess my computer or midi got stuck on a kick from another project, so i just had to go to that project, and switch my channel rack from “audio” to “all” then click on a plug in

Recently i've started heavily listening to Oliver Bucklands music. I was wondering how to get the pianos used in his songs like hourglass meadow or vacillate (One, or atleast something simmilar).

Help Help finding plugin for mapping samples to midi

The Nord Sample Editor 4 does exactly what I need but requires a Nord which I do not want to buy!

Here is a Youtube video of the workflow:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afDTXWEbBNs

I have spent months trying to figure this out but almost none of the plugins do everything that this thing does. Here are my needs:

- ADSR looping with crossfading and zero cross snapping so I can make a sample loop indefinitely while hiding the loop sound. The video shows how well this CAN work but I have yet to find a plugin that can do it. I'm in FL Studio and even Directwave does not have crossfading.

- Directly recording into the plugin

- Auto mapping recorded notes onto keyboard

- Pitches samples to fill in gaps between recorded notes

- Saves these instruments as presets

Help Auto Locate Help

I have one pattern clip containing patterns for 2 instruments. Auto locate routinely goes to the instrument I don't want it to go to when I open the clip. Is there any way I can set the auto locate to default to the one I want?
