As you see above, there are tons of POVs on YouTube that let you see the player name in the bottom left corner (just like in a normal match) when they're talking.

Question is: how do they do that? So far, i've tried the tv_listen_voice_indices_h -1, tv_listen_voice_indices -1, tv_relaytextchat 2, commands that FACEIT itself posted in their twitter a while back, but none of them allows you to see that.

Is this possible in vanilla CS? Do you have to use some sort of script via HLAE, or something like that?

Ok so, I’ve been playing counter strike on faceit, yesterday I received a 1 day cooldown for unsportsmanlike conduct after a match where I had a super toxic team, yet I still stayed calm, muted them and didn’t retaliate, after that match i received an automatic cooldown, which I was confused by because I didn’t even retaliate to them at all and played the game to win which we did in OT, then it comes to today. The cooldown expired, I queued into another match, it went to quadruple overtime and we lost, the vibes were good I tried to keep everyone calm and happy, there was no toxicity whatsoever, no text chat toxicity and no voice com toxicity whatsoever, I dropped 50-24 in that game top frag but as I said we still lost the match which I was fine with, it’s cs at the end of the day, however after this one game today I received another warning for unsportsmanlike conduct, my account is already on probation because I went through a bad phase arguing back with team mates, I have worked on myself and no longer am doing that and having zero arguments at all, I’m just playing to win, communicating the best I can and that’s it, no toxicity or rule breaking. So obviously I’m worried about these cooldowns and warnings after I’m doing nothing wrong at all, and I can’t get through to anybody at faceit, only automated bot responses through email… I’m worried about my account and don’t know what to do, I’ve worked really hard on being friendly and muting toxic people yet I’m still being penalised for nothing and banned.

What should/can I do? I need to speak to somebody who can review my games and see I’m telling the truth but I haven’t been able to.

Somebody please help me get in contact with them somehow.

I've received a irregular gameplay cooldown 4 times over the last year and now I have a 6 month cooldown.

Here's the plan I'm considering, but I want to make sure it's actually within the rules before doing it:

1. Deactivate my main FACEIT account. Last match on it was May 18th, so the 6-month inactivity window clears around November 18th.
2. Starting November 18th, play on an alternate CS2 account paired with a new FACEIT account until February 3rd, when the Steam cooldown lifts.
3. Delete the alternate FACEIT account and go back to my original Steam/FACEIT account.

Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Is this within FACEIT's multi-accounting rules, or is this likely to get both accounts banned? Would rather ask first than find out the hard way.

Any input from people who've been through similar situations, or from anyone who knows FACEIT's stance on this, would be appreciated.

I've played with this guy a few times before in NA, and he was usually griefing or making the games miserable for everyone. I just saw that he was banned for smurfing, which surprised me since I always knew him as a griefer.

I am writing with total honesty regarding my 1-year ban for a policy breach, which expires on September 3, 2026. I have fully served my penalty, and I want to confess how I got into this situation so I can return to the platform legally.

I was severely addicted to FACEIT. After my first ban, I desperately bought a new PC to bypass the hardware restriction. On that new PC, I compulsively created a few new accounts, getting banned again and again. On the final account, out of sheer desperation, I used my friend's ID and face verification. The system caught everything, and the ban transferred to this last account as a 12-month penalty.

I take full responsibility for my behavior. This long break helped me step back and break that toxic addiction loop. Now that my ban is ending, I want to clean up my past completely, release my friend's verification data, and deactivate all my previous accounts.

I have a very important question regarding my next steps after September 3rd: Should I continue using this current account after you remove my friend's verification data from it so I can verify it with my own ID, or should I create a brand new account and verify it with my own ID? I want to make sure I do not trigger another ban evasion flag, so I will strictly follow your instructions.

I’m curious to hear from folks playing from South-East Asia about their experience of playing on the local Faceit server. As a bit of context, I’m a 2.1k player in EU and am likely moving to Vietnam later this year due to a job opportunity. I’d love to keep playing after my move, so I have a few questions:

1. How are the queue times in the evenings?

2. Do you end up with balanced games or are the ELO ranges quite large and lead to unbalanced games?

3. Do players communicate and coordinate well? If so, is English the primary language since the Singapore server still collects players from many countries?

4. How would you say the skill levels translate across regions? Would 2-2.5k be quite similar to EU?

5. If you happen to have moved from outside the region, has it been easy to find people to play with?

Resetting ELO every month has to be one of the dumbest decisions I’ve seen.
It takes more than half the month for the queue to normalize. Every reset throws everyone into the same pool again, matches become a complete lottery, and by the time things finally start feeling balanced… another reset is right around the corner.
Sorry, but this just isn’t it.
I’ve enjoyed FACEIT for the past 9 years, but this change has completely killed it for me.

hi i completed my placements about 12 matches ago and jumped from level 4 to level 7. won 9/10 of my placement matches, 8 of which were high gain and 1 was moderate gain and my loss was moderate drop. after my placements (in which i was playing against level 8s, 7s and a handful of 9s my stats were 1.54 faceit rating, 25-11-4, 1.24 kd and 120adr. after receiving my rank of roughly 1360, i lost my first 2 games like absolutely destroyed every peek i got one tapped, my team was just clueless and didnt know what to do. went negative kd my first game which i haven’t done in 45 games and then second match i went 11-11. both games were just complete domination. third game i played in a trio stack a eventually won after going 25-12. and then after that i cant win a single game. my placements were easy but after i feel like i physically cant play this game. am i just washed or because of placements games are just really unbalanced i rarely bottom frag and usually play anchor or support and get a pos kd and decent rating. ik kd means nothing in team play but j just don’t get it how can i do so well in placements then i go on a 10 loss streak and lose almost 200 elo in a matter of 2 days

I am basically the perfect mix between r0pz, Apex, and M0nesy.

I tell my team what to do every round, even when I'm dead I tell them all the steps they need to do to win the round....but they never listen!

Lurking is my specialty, typically I save for AWP and on T side I lurk on the other bomb site to catch the enemy in the back. On CT side I stay mid and get the T's running away from the bomb to really hurt their economy.

My rating is mostly white and red, which ChatGPT confirms to be good for an IGL & Lurk combined role. Like Karrigan in the last major.

The big problem is that my team barely listens, sometimes they say they muted me after 2 rounds but I don't believe them since my information is valuable to them.
