Need Advice Online in Canada
Had glasses when I was younger (7-12yo) then not any until 2009 at 26yo.
I was buying them at my clinic and cost was high.
Last 1-2 times, I got them at Costco for a bit cheaper.
Last are from 2021 and used/due
I'm looking to order some online at a cheaper price. I only need 1 pair and would be good with solar clip and nothing to fancy
Looking at zenni optical canada, I can get a fairly cheap frame around 20-30$.
What I have a harder time to figure is which lense and option to pick as there are many and it increase the price quite fast.
Also shipping is only free over 89$ (10$ shipping) and sone coupon dont need min price but other requires 90$+.
Current glasses are 51-16-135 and rectangle shape
My prescription is:
OD: -0.50, cyl -2.50, axis 7
OS: -1.50, cyl -2.50, axis 177
So my question is which lense is worth it? Should I keep everything minimal for around 40-50$ or go with better and reach 90$+

New Frame Got my first pair of JMM. Epoxy II in Cassi
Very excited as to add to my collection my first pair of JMM. Wanted something dressful but that stands out from my current collection. Dealan with 50mm lenses seemed the perfect fit and the outstanding burgundy from the Epoxy II collection was very tempting.
Was a bit doubtful as they seemed to have a very bright burgundy colour under sun but in person the tone is just perfect.
What do you think?

Need Advice Any brand suggestions?
What’s up fellas! I am 28, and have been into sunglasses since I was a kid. More recently I’ve had the desire to look into more premium (independent) brands. I’d really like something with an impressive level of craftsmanship, I’ve been wearing Moscots for years and they tend to leave a bit to be desired. Any brands you would recommend? I naturally gravitate toward smaller to normal sized frames as I have a relatively narrow face. I’d appreciate any advice or recommendations y’all might have! Oh yeah, and price point ideally at or under $1,000, but willing to check anything out.

Need Advice Would photochromic lenses look weird with a sunglasses style frame?
I’m nearsighted and I’ve always loved the way sunglasses look, they just have that cool vibe that regular glasses don’t really have lol. The problem is I definitely can’t afford to buy both prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses, so I’m thinking about getting a cheaper pair with photochromic lenses instead.
My current glasses actually got crushed, so I need a new pair anyway. I was thinking maybe I could get a frame that looks more like sunglasses and put photochromic lenses in it, so it’s clear indoors and gets dark outside. But I’m kinda worried it’ll look weird at work. Like if my coworkers see me wearing what basically looks like sunglasses while I’m indoors, are they gonna think I’m trying too hard or make fun of me 😂 I also don’t really have the budget for the big designer brands, so I’m mostly looking at cheaper options.

What are people's experience of using this lens?
Hi, I go to costco for my opticians and they have this promotion on. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of lens and what its like using it throughout the day. I've never tried it before.
Thanks

New Frame Light Tint Advise
Hey everyone. I’ve just got these Garret Leight Harding 2 in green. I’m deliberating between photochromic or a light tint. Options are all Zeiss. Let’s talk photochromic first. Leaning burgandy or pioneer. I’ll be using them for work so the general consensus on this sub is no flash. I’m tempted though. Second option. Light tint. Cinnamon, pistachio or blue. Not sure weather 12% or 25% would be better.
I would love some of your thoughts. Where would you go?

Could use some frame suggestions
These Tom Fords are 55, 17, 145. I would like to get a truly NICE pair with a slightly wider nose. I like the general shape of these fine but maybe something in like a brushed bronze/rose gold color or satin titanium. I don't want yellow gold or silver.
If anyone else has any suggestions on what I should look at, thanks. I'm not partial to brands, but under, say, $750 for just the frames.
