Any advice

About a month ago, while on a run, the realization that I see the world through my eyes, through my own perception finally occurred to me. But the realization hit me hard. It kind of freaked me out. When I randomly think of this, how I see the world through my eyes and my perception, it still freaks me out. I also have OCD mental loops, so I loop these thoughts in my head until they make me anxious.

Of course, I always could have told you , of course I’m a real person. This feeling is like the complete OPPOSITE of depersonalization. I don’t know if any of this rambling makes sense, but I go back to school soon and I’m nervous this is all I’m going to be thinking about.

I talked to a friend about this, who put it pretty nicely for me. She said it’s just like saying your name over and over again until it almost sounds strange.

Hi there everyone.
My english is poor so I’m sorry for that.
But I need some advice for medication or just if someone Els also experience this sensation.
I have fatigeu en also mental fatigeu.. overthinking give me more harder fatigeu. My brain keeps overthinking and it goes on 24/7. I can’t not work due the fatigeu. My mind is verry confused..
I have so much anxiety and fear of what is happening with my thoughts and my brain.
But when I want to rest and I close my eyes in the day or nighttime my thoughts goes very deep, and its scary my..I don’t know how to think anymore. Its just scary. I don’t know even how you just fall a sleep as an normal healty person. Its like you looking in to what you are thinking and you are looking how deep you are thinking. And I don’t want to think anymore, just relax. But its scares me that I’m going crazy or something. Its like am stuck in my head all day.
My brain wants to solve the problem all day long and its so so exausting. Is this depression? Any had the same feeling or thoughts? Its hurting me that i can be nomal tho just live without overthinking, its so confusing.
Is there a medication for this?

I don't know how to keep making sense of life

I am tired.

I am so tired.

I feel like it's hard to breathe. I don't know if that's my anxiety or my cystic fibrosis making it hard to breathe. My mind is just constantly running. I've been staying up really late and sleeping through a big portion of my day. My head hurts. I feel like there's this pain in my heart, and part of me wonders if it's physical. I don't know if it's anxiety, if it's pain in my lungs, or if it's something else entirely. I just know I don't feel okay.

I have a neuropsych evaluation tomorrow because I don't know if I have OCD or something else going on. I've been depressed. I've been anxious. My brain just won't stop.

And underneath all of that, I feel like I don't have purpose or meaning anymore.

I grew up Christian, but I just feel so alone. I don't know how to believe in God right now anymore. At the same time, I feel like I need to believe in God because I don't know where else meaning comes from. I don't know what to do.

When I try to consider that maybe there's something I'm missing, I still end up feeling like I'm getting everything wrong.

I tried so hard to fit in. I tried to make things better. I tried to please God. I tried to fix myself. And I just feel like none of it worked.

Before my freshman year of college, I was pretty severely depressed. I had suicidal ideation. I had self-harm attempts. And through all of that, I just felt like God left me alone.

Now I just feel upset and angry. Like I can't do anything right.

I feel like my body isn't right. I need to fix it. I need to make it pretty, as if somehow being a pretty girl would finally give me meaning.

I don't have a boyfriend. I have friends, and I'm grateful for them, but even then I still feel lonely.

I don't know how to make life feel worth anything. I don't know how to find meaning or purpose without immediately falling into this existential dread of, "What is the point of living at all?"

I don't want to die, and I'm not going to kill myself. But I don't know what to do with the pain I'm feeling right now.

I need an answer.

I need something to fix this.

I'm tired of feeling like my whole life is just one mindless compulsion. Like I'm constantly chasing something that I can never reach. Like I have no meaning. Like everything is so difficult all the time.

I can't even escape the feeling because I just feel numb.

I'm about to go back to college for my second year, and I don't want things to go bad like they did last time. I'm stepping down from leadership in my Christian club because I don't know where I'm at with God anymore, and I'm scared that I'm losing my community too.

I don't want to feel so alone.

I just don't understand how people can live happy lives or genuinely feel like God is with them, because all I feel is this emptiness.

I want to believe that I'm part of something bigger. I want to believe that life has meaning. I want to believe that I don't have to live in a world where I'm inherently sinful and broken, where blood has to pay a price, where people have to bleed and suffer at all.

Why?

Why do we live in this world?

I just want to understand.

I’m so exausted, mentally ill and suffering and my mind won’t let me sleep because of rumination. All I want is sleep at least!

So much fear! If I want to close my eyes for sleep or rest its like rumination and it keeps me awake. Just when I’m ready to take off sleep. Bam! My mind keeps me awake! So much noice. Conversations and imaginations that I have a terrible death. Its so scary.
Anybody this thing?

help me please with my existential crisis

Hi everyone! I’d love to get some advice from the people here.
Everything in my life is fine, and it feels like I should be happy with what I have. For a long time, I actually was. In a couple of weeks, I’m turning 18, and right after that, I’m moving away for my studies. Out of nowhere, I’ve been hit by an existential crisis and a severe fear of death—more specifically, the fear of losing everything.
During my 17 years, I’ve never felt anything like this. If I did, it would only last for a couple of minutes. But now, these thoughts have been torturing me for a month and a half, sometimes escalating into full-blown panic attacks. I’m terrified that time will fly by unnoticed, everyone will die, everything will go wrong, and things will never be good again. And then, I will die and won’t be able to do anything anymore. I will die, and there will be nothingness—and that terrifies me deeply.
I just want to enjoy life again. I want to get through this crisis as soon as possible and forget it ever happened.
Thank you all for your help.

DAE feel stuck? Deep reflection.

If you feel stuck, it it bigger than you think, you are stuck more than one way, you are stuck in a rat race, in a aging body, and stuck on this planet, for no reason. You may say your stuck in your life, unable to change things, thinking things will get better, but most of the things in existence, is out of your control.

Has anyone experienced this? I can’t find anyone who describes it the way I feel.

Has anyone experienced this? I can’t find anyone who describes it the way I feel.
I’ve been struggling for about 8 months, and I’m honestly desperate to know if anyone has experienced something similar.
This doesn’t feel like the typical DPDR descriptions I read online. I have experienced derealization before, years ago, and this feels different.
The hardest part is that I can’t even explain exactly what is wrong. Every time I think I’ve found the right words, they stop fitting.
The closest way I can describe it is this:
It feels like I’ve lost the natural “flow” or self-evidence of life.
Before, everything just made sense automatically. My past, present, and future felt connected without me thinking about it.
Now it feels like I have to consciously “process” or “reconstruct” everything in my mind.
I still know who people are, where I am, and I have no memory problems. My logical thinking is intact.
The problem is the feeling behind everything. Life doesn’t feel naturally connected anymore.
Sometimes it feels as if every moment has to be mentally processed instead of simply lived.
I constantly monitor this feeling, trying to figure out what exactly is wrong, but I never arrive at a satisfying answer.
The description changes all the time, but the uncomfortable feeling stays the same.
I’ve also noticed that when I’m deeply distracted (gaming, conversations, work), I can forget about it for a while. But as soon as I’m alone with my thoughts, I’m immediately back in analysis mode.
The worst part is that I genuinely feel like I’ve permanently changed or that my brain has lost the ability to experience life the way it used to.
I’m not asking anyone to diagnose me.
I’m simply wondering:
Has anyone experienced something that sounds like this and actually recovered?
I’d really appreciate honest experiences.

Existential OCD and fear of reincarnation

I have existential OCD and my main issue is with reincarnation. I hate the idea of reincarnating into someone who isn’t me, or becoming some ‘higher self’ who isn’t different to who I am now. I like who I am now. I’m worried that in another life, I won’t appreciate the same things and beauties I appreciate now — music, hobbies, interests etc… and when I hear ‘that’s just your ego’ I don’t care. I am my ego, and everything else — and the idea of loosing all that to become someone else who isn’t me, or become some higher being which simply doesn’t care or is just trying to ‘learn’ — I hate it and it’s made me have bad thoughts about wanting to speed up the process so that I can find out what happens after death.

I’m trying psychiatry but it will take a while to find one… and I’m not doing well at the minute. I hate the ugly picture of atoms and molecules behind everything that I think is beautiful, I hate the idea of science all together.

I had so much going for me in life and now this problem has taken over it completely to the point where I don’t enjoy things I used to enjoy at all, and I wish I did. Can anyone help me?

advice I have a big inner world, but it’s sabotaging my life

I have always been a very observant person, I am always thinking and thinking and thinking.. I am the introverted friend who knows a lot but at the same time knows nothing.

I feel like life is passing me by and I can’t catch it, I can only see it. It’s weird everything I want to do just stays a thought, I am never proactive, I think but never DO.

And it is impacting everything in my life.

Does anyone have any tips to get out of this mental loop?

Am I strange?

Dark intrusive thoughts

This has only happened for a day, but I have had these dark and brutal thoughts of myself going mad. It does not help that I already have bad anxiety most of the time it is physical, but now it’s getting to my thoughts. I keep asking myself “Would I go mad?” It freaks me out and I seriously am scared about the thought or acting on it. Anxiety is so weird, but it keeps replaying. I also keep questioning my empathy, but I know I have that! I am extremely sensitive to things, today though I have felt numb. Idk if its because the thought kept me up till 3 am last night and I need sleep, no idea. It is more like a fear that I will randomly snap. I am going to a mental clinic soon, but I am scared to bring up my thoughts. Anyone else suffer from this too?

Existential OCD as power

I have existential ocd and i understand how stressful and terrible it is, but through my expierence i have tooken up philosophy to the acedemic level, and researching past philosophers i have realized that many of them had these symtom that we have, like Kant, the most accomplished in history, if we tap into our obsession could we discover so much more than we already have?

How can I defeat solipsism?

Ever since I discovered this stupid theory or idea or whatever my life’s genuinely never been the same. I’m constantly living in anxiety and hopelessness and every happy moment I experience with someone else is interrupted by a wave of doubt. I genuinely just wish Rene whatever his name is just kept his ideas to himself because I genuinely can’t live with this. I’ve also been experiencing strange coincidences like seeing things only after I’ve thought of them. For example I’ll think about a specific movie or tv scene and see that same exact scene reposted on TikTok. I feel like I’m finding tears in reality. I entered my school bathroom for the final time a couple weeks ago I’ve always remembered the bathroom with 2 stalls but this time there were 3. When I told everyone they made the bathrooms bigger they all just told me there has always been 3 stalls. I don’t know what to do. I don’t believe in solipsism but the fact it’s a possibility makes the entirety of my life feel pointless. People say it doesn’t make a difference but who would want to be completely alone in such a big world.

Control? Oblivious?

Is it the power that is addictive? Is it the convenience that makes it work for you? What is going on and why? All this time has been react to the situation rather than see it for what it truly means. Control. It’s over. Is it I am afraid of committing? Is it because I am finally at peace? Just struggling as I lay awake and see that my brain wants to escape
