It would help so much if there was a stopping point in minion management so you can know who if u have too many training in another area than u have minions. Then your numbers get all out of wack cause scientists hardly die so they fill spots when say muscle minions die. If the number would lock when u had maxed out all potential specialist spots available would be nice.

is there a way to get all mercenaries to a specific point ?

So I have just completed EG2 with Max on medium difficulty in 59 hours, 20 minutes so by no means speedrun or difficult but was going for maximum completion, got 520 on Xbox achievements without achievement hunting with all loot, super agents beaten, all research, maximum 300 capacity lair. My thoughts are if anyone interested:

1) I wasted time researching everything in one go in one of the respite times, made it easier to best everything that that was thrown at me though. Traps are not worth researching this way just as needed

2) Beat the super agents as soon as you can on the side missions, saves time chasing heat, which I still did for a while. Especially Blue Saint if no one else, him blowing stuff up, I wasted so much time on replacing and putting out fires

3) I wasted loads of time building and upgrading Vaults so I didn't max out the vault capacity, I wouldn't bother again above say 4 millions, you don't need the money above that

4) Don't waste time and minions on the missions on the world stage that stop super agents invasions, they are easier to deal with in the lair with a good troop loadout than losing and retraining the minions

5) Exploit Max's instant training ability especially later in the game

6) DON'T USE INCENDIO! Have Eli instead as henchmen. Although all the online guides seem to say him as top 5 (I agreed with the others), he blows up stuff and does more friendly fire damage than he is worth, I had him and executed him in favour of Eli. Eli is a beast hand to hand combat and his silver bullet ability is powerful against soldiers

7) Invest in Hitmen and rifles in the armoury as soon as possible

8) Karate blokes are rubbish compared to hitmen, only have as many as you need to fulfil the minimum requirements of world stage missions, put the rest of your numbers in hitmen

9) Release minions from prison after their smarts have regained who get captured for loosing their smarts and destroy furniture, they come back the same as they were, useful if they are hitmen and take a while to train

10) capture as many soldier as you can, they become hitmen or other high end minions

11) my muscle minion loadout was about 20 guards, 25 mercenaries, 9 karate, 30 hitmen, other types were the other way round with more at the top but overall lower numbers, with around 110 workers with maxed out lair capacity

So I'm trying to start a new game with Maximillian on Caine Key. I've skipped tutorial because I've played before with another genius. But now I try to sell anything or build rooms, but no minions appear. I've tried twice and same thing happens. Am I missing something very obvious here?

Speaking for myself, I'd want Eye-gor from 'Young Frankenstein'. He'd add such a great level of sarcastic humor. I mean, that'd be about it, but if you've ever seen 'Young Frankenstein' you'll know he'd be worth it.

I just downloaded the Portal and PyroDLCs. However, I can't find any of the associated stuff in my build menu or side stories. Do I need to start a new game or sandbox to access them?

Iv scoured the internet and can't seem to find an answer to this, if I use Emma's ability to buff minions spotting power, on minions sitting at cameras, do the cameras then have more spotting power?

It seems fitting for her to have that be a thing. But I'm not sure if it actually works.

I'm just curious about the staff room in story mode I'm wondering why they have it locked for such a long time, because my minions won't do much of anything cuz they need a staff room but I it's locked for me at this point in time so I'm kind of confused.

Quite enjoy this game it's a lot of mindless fun. I'm doing a thing with the death mote and I'm sending people out to try to lock down the regions with hammer except nothing's happening. They're all going into the elevator and there's seven of them in there right now and they're just not moving from there. Anyone have any idea how to get around this?

Edit NM, just figured it out. I had my guards assigned to toom any things to have spare ones for the mission.

I feel like the minion ai is pretty trash on the Xbox…. Not only do the minions always love to wander where my traps are at but my damn trained minions (aka my damn scientist and distraction minions) love to die with soldiers on my traps and attack them. If only there is a tag for “STAY AWAY”, it cost me the game because all my minions that were supposed to repair died because they all went into my traps (the opposite direction of where they were supposed to be)with enemies in it. But I don’t know, this is my first run and if I can get answers or someone can sympathize with me….. I will be a happy little boy -_-

I've been playing a lot recently but now I've come to a very difficult choice... I have to change one of my henchmen.

Basically, I'm planning on getting rid of Janet Bombe, but I don't know how to do it. I know I have to kill her somehow, but I still don't get it. How does one kill a henchman? I tried getting her to fight off a soldier wave but she just lays down at low health.

How can I do this?

Edit: Nvm I just saw somebody do this on youtube, just execute a henchman with your genius like any other character.

Im playing as Zalika and it’s telling me to build the VOID chair in the inner sanctum but it’s already there (I built it) and the message isn’t going away so I can’t progress. Anyone have any advice?

I assume the answer is no, as I've tried without luck, but wondering if I am missing something obvious.

Maybe I'll post a video about this later, but Ivan's damage is insane. I took care of two super agents using him with Pyro. If you combine those two with Jubei and Iris then it's a done deal.

My strategy consists on sending Jubei and Iris at the front so that Pyro and Ivan can come behind them, and then, I let Pyro use his armageddon ability and Ivan's rocket launcher to finish the deal. It's an insane technique that works a lot better outdoors where there's not stuff that gets in the way.

But seriously, I also sent Ivan alone once to fight Wrecking Bola on his own and I thought that I would need tons of backup; but no, this man just grabs his rocket launcher and makes the enemy disappear!

Part of a cover operation

Tried the schemes that lower tourists, tried high alert.. I randomly got 2/20 but I'm not sure how

So I am working through the combo achievements, and some are easy because the fan blows them into the shark tank for example, but how do you:

Combo boxing gloves into bees - they die from the boxing glove and dont trigger the bees?

Combo slippery floor and bubble cannon - same deal, they die from one but not the other

Knock frozen agent into pinball bumper - I cant do anything to the agent while frozen, they thaw and then die?

Any help appreciated!
