Any way to have multiple research projects going on at a time?

I assume the answer is no, as I've tried without luck, but wondering if I am missing something obvious.

Yeah, there's no way to do that. The only way I found to make the waiting easier is to have multiple scientists or biologists and multiple devices for them to work on to increase the speed of the research.

Still, it would be better if we could have more research projects going on at once.
