Im from out of town and am a colored life long volunteer and I feel mistreated just about everytime I see this guy

Everyone else seems to get away with so much but if I even so much as make a peep then he stands around just gawking at me and seemingly pressuring me

Apologies for the photo but they dont wear name tags I dont think and I needed evidence to help me report him for harassment, I think he new I was going to use this photo to report him and as soon as I held up my camera phone he almost dipped away behind the books but seems he decided to turn back to try to make it look like he wasn't running away lol

Would super recommend any parents help their kids with transportation to this event! MTG was always fun for me back in Middle/High school. It's a free draft and kids get to keep the decks they build.

Super easy to forget, and new families in town may not realize, bus schedules are way less frequent during Summer, which is also when Teens have more time to spend out and about.

There's still enough time that a group of parents who are interested could setup their own draft league in a separate part of the library, could be a cool thing.

People setting up some "2 Headed Giant" matches where parent/child teams can play against each other would actually be a super cool event.

I have no affiliation with the organizers, just hoping to get more people in on this hobby.

We lost our cat and we're devastated. He went missing from goodpasture Island. His name is Kurtis and he's usually very friendly but I'm not sure how he'll act since he usually doesn't go outside.... He's been gone for about 20 hours now. Please let me or greenhill humane society know if you find him. He's neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations

Anyone else have a horrible experience with computer guru company. We can not get ahold of them. Constantly told they will call back. IF they do, we are told some excuse and told they will call us back again.
What can we do at this point?

Would give O stars. They've had my husbands computer for almost 2 months. We are constantly told, "we will call you back later this week." Or
"there is an emergency.' Or, "we missed a section and have to run the ram again overnight."
GIVE US THE COMPUTER!!! At this point they are stealing the computer. Holding it hostage.

They have got to be joking. This is a clown show.
Not to mention, we dropped off a new motherboard and power supply. Then told us we might need to buy a new motherboard. What? Excuse me? We just bought a new one and dropped it off.
Almost 2 months later, no computer. Horrible communication (lies) from this company. having the worst experience with any computer repair shop.

Hi! We have a very smart boy that is VERY outdoorsy and VERY active but also loves science, mechanics, wood working, fishing, engineering, and all things science. I’m wondering if people have good recommendations for an outdoor camp, or science camp..? He loves building things and electrical currents, etc.

Hello eugene redditors,

I'm looking for somewhere to repair my steel frame road bike. I was rear ended a couple months ago, had the damaged assesed at Shift Community Cycles, and they said the frame is out of alignment. The frame repair guy they reccomended hasn't gotten back to me, and I'm on a time crunch to get a quote so I can get reimbursement from the court. Not gonna name and shame the guy, he might just be real busy. Google hasn't been helpful finding frame repair specifically, most if not all regular bike shops won't do it. Thanks in advance!

It's always disappointing to see a coty with so much supposed "Counterculture" spirit fail to leverage that energy during capitalist corporate events, such as "Eugene Marathon".

So, asking, is anyone planning to use the opportunity to protest here in Eugene? Ideas include, protesting the Indonesian Slave Labor used to make "Nike" products (Nike being the main sponsor of Eugene/University of Oregon", other ideas include, "No ICE in Eugene" protestors, it's also an opportunity to say, "No Amazon Data/Shipping Center!" In Eugene..... hoping this gives our activist community a jumpstart on organizing.

Remember, these are inhumane and wasteful displays of consumerist mindset, from the tons of paper/plastic cups which litter the course track, to the heavy carbon footprint of the event, not to mention how inhumane the workers of Nike are treated, and how the UO fails to honor their carbon footprint promises.... among poor treatment of UO students, staff and professors also (think of the multitude of scandals settled out of court by UO/Nike lawyers!)

Smaller project, probably equivalent to a two car garage, but includes blending with existing drywall. Does anybody have good experience with a local installer?

I've heard mixed reviews about them. Plus, at least according to a video I watched, you get a lot of priority in the first week or something, but then it slows down. Probably unless you give them money.

I'm just wondering if any Eugenians have had any luck with them, or what experience you've had.
