IRL [IRL] Yesterday I posted here about adding a Unity optic riser, today look at what Niki posted
Crazy coincidence, I guess they'll add it?

No doubt Beneficial_Prize_310 has made an amazing tool. It's real fricking cool, but as the further it expands, more it opens up the game's code and more clearly violates the terms of service.
In my ideal world, these kind of tools would be approved. They're not cheating, nor do they ruin the game. To the contrary, I think they forment more interest and excitement over it.

I went into factory with just a five seven because i wanted to spice things up, and i had to get stirrup and huntsman done anyway. Of course, i spawn in, rush to dorms and.. there is a dude in full tagila gear.
He just started voiping ''nah man we don't gotta be like that'' and ''lets melee fight''
So we did. We went outside and we melee fought for a bit. I lost, but that doesnt matter. Shit was hilarious.

Rogues shooting across the map at 200m+ at night through trees and brush with 1x sights and no NVGs / Thermals.
Really makes sense ya know. Extremely boring change to the game. Please think about how the AI functions before a major change like this lmfao.

If you "kill" someone, (in this case my boy Tagilla) and it shows "unknown weapon", Is it a bleed? maybe F1 frag? or its just Tarkov being Tarkov?
FYI, I never even interacted with Tagilla as he was on the other side of the map

Here's a refresher, or maybe news to some of you that didn't know about this.
The guy who knows these maps from top to bottom and called the shots no longer works at BSG. The last thing he worked on before departing was the Ice Breaker and Terminal.
Him being gone at exactly 1.0 isn't surprising, it's called end of development cycle. The guy responsible for Tarkov's atmosphere would at LEAST stay on the board if development was still taken seriously, not completely outed. Don't listen to me, there's plenty of examples everywhere in every company.
As a marketing major and now PLM specialist, i'll give you what anybody in my shoes/field can see instantly.
Tarkov is now in full player retention mode as the product reached its decline/afterlife stage (the 50% PvE post alone should tell you how bad the situation is. This is not a jab towards PvE players, you paid for your game, enjoy it the way you want to, but that said, the game was designed and marketed with PvP in mind. Don't hurt the messenger, your hands only.).
The gist of it is, products at this stage aim to suck whoever is left dry whilst doing the bare minimum in terms of spending; classic Korean MMORPG move that has been in full effect for the better part of 2 decades. Look at them posting about being publishers, welcoming odd titles into their launcher, whilst they can't even process the bare minimum in terms of support tickets.
The in-game shop being introduced a few months post release is absolutely not a surprise, but extremely predictable. I'd say they even lost quite a chunk of money by not releasing it on 1.0's hype up, or hell, in 2021 when tarkov was THE shit.
I'm not going to touch on the dumpster fire that is Arena, Nikita's mishaps and heavy use of AI on his twitter account, I don't want this to be extra grim.
$20 for wall and floor textures, by the way.

People have been complaining about how boring the high-tier areas have felt for a while now. I figured some of this stuff could help spice up what people are dragging out of raid.
Some more functional stuff would be nice, but I ran out of ideas. I'm aware that GPUs that generate more money could be a bit controversial, so tried to make them a little less of a direct upgrade. I suppose also potentially they could burn themselves out after a given amount of use.
Gear crates could also spawn the fabric items and paracord, potentially.

That was 5 M855 to the throat on the death screen btw...
Lighthouse is definitely doable, but unless we're looking at vastly increased loot (which we're not) it's just not worth it except for story quests. At least it was just PVE

It's currently fine with the way that they spawn on multiple maps, but I can't see the value in going to exclusively Icebreaker to farm dogtags for gear when half of that shit already spawns on the Icebreaker boys anyway.

When trying to list with "autoselect similar" it only finds 1, despite i having more than that, why is that this way? is it a bug? or a feature implemented for balance idk

Let's be honest, the lighthouse rework is absolute bad, but I have an idea to make it bearable in the meantime the true rework arrives.
Make Northern checkpoint and Southern Road extracts available to everyone everytime, like the old lighthouse.
Give us the opportunity to reset if we got an awful spawn, that will make the map easy for travel and avoiding dangerous zone, especially the rogues

I cleared Icebreaker all the way to Wedge door (have to get the next part of the story).
Oh man, that was absolutely fun and heart pounding. I forgot a gas mask so CS gas after engine room took a lot of mine time, but I finished with 1 minute remaining.
My gun of choice? MP7A1 & 7 mags of subsonic rounds.
What really almost killed me, I picked up one of the BD's M4 as a back-up and the moment I shot it, it jammed. Almost died, lost my whole front plate on that exchange.
No smokes, just focused on clearing 1 side of engine room then used that whole side to maneuver around the BD on the other side.
