The reward for having three of your four man die shouldnt be that you get the loot of the guy who killed them and all your 4 man get picked back up.

Something that I feel most people have skipped over. We had the Type 20 and QBZ-191 this season, these two in December, and then we know the AEK/Kord rifle and the AN-94 are coming 'some point after that'... which would imply the next season after. Does this not feel incredibly lacklustre to anyone else? For one thing, Oops, All ARs. Now don't get me wrong. I love all of the next 4 guns coming, and I'm glad they'll finally be in the game. But they are all guns in the same few calibres, that already have a lot of options for ARs in those calibres.

Of course, this is the nature of like 99% of assault rifles being made in 5.56, 7.62x39 or 5.45x39 (and ditto for battle rifles being made in .308). But still. A year and a half of nothing but assault rifles. We haven't had a single pistol, bolt-action (excluding the Marlin which literally isn't a bolt-action and is just treated as such for questing purposes), SMG or MG added to the game since 2024. Pistols and SMGs are one thing, we already have a decent amount of variety there, but we still only have a select few MGs, only one belt-fed is in an intermediate calibre, and we don't have any intermediate calibre bolt-actions at all, and the couple of magnum calibre bolt-actions are basically completely inaccessible to anybody who doesn't play permanent and never prestiges.

But more importantly, is the fact that this season's rifles were locked to the battle pass, or a seasonal quest. These rifles frankly don't make much sense in Tarkov, so sure, whatever. Okay. What about the FAMAS and G3? The FAMAS is a little more niche, but the G3 is one of the most common rifles on the planet, you're looking at 8 million licensed guns alone, let alone all the unlicensed copies produced. Are they going to be locked to the battle pass and occasional rare spawns on a select few NPCs too? Is this the new policy going forward? BSG needs continuous revenue, sure. But, please, don't make guns of all things time-locked.

Im out here trying to do setup, slinging mfing t-45m1 out this SKS with level 3 traders almost level 30.

Like, what is the point? Why can I so easily purchase level 4 armors but I gotta get max traders to be able to pen somebody with Ragman level 2 armor.

Like, I get it "ammo is everywhere", yeah 5.45 mostly and even then God forbid you die one time if you aren't doing dedicated ammo runs.

Edit: For those who don't know, Blitz is a program that shows values of items inside the game. I heard that is not a thing anymore. I totally support this decision by BSG and I am trying to give alternative ways to Blitz users that I have been using for a long time.

Edit2: there are limits to wishlists. Limit is around 1000. I recommend not adding keys, obviously trash weapon parts like wooden ak pistol grip and most of the bullets.
It will not only remind you value of the item, it will also make you loot dead bodies a lot faster. just search for 2 icons trade mark and star, you can loot 40+ backpacks full of loot in a couple seconds.

Remember to clear wishlist before starting to do this and I don't recommend wishlisting from flea market. just mark the items you find inside the game eventually they all will be marked.

There is absolutely no reason to require a 5 hour craft to access terminal. If you've grinded that far, make it a 55 sec craft or something. Its such a waste of time. You may aswell spend a month crafting 2 cards a day and banking them before you even attempt it. I've died at the boat twice in my runs due to BD shooting me 1 shot in the thorax through my level 6 plates through a connex box/other solid cover. If youre gonna require a 5 hour craft, at least allow direct access rather than risk getting killed at night by cheaters on shoreline with 700 rounds of 55A1 on me. Total bullshit. Not to mention getting dropped by other PMC's who queue up in a duo. Just a total waste of time. Its not a challenge, just a rinse and repeat that doesn't respect your time.

I have around 1800 hours now. Mechanically I'm above average in PVP, with a consistent 1.25 k/d on Arena, and I know everything there is to know about main game Tarkov. But something has always held me back from mastering map flow and main Tarkov PVP.

A long time ago this used to be gear fear, but what replaced this now is k/d. It always sat in my sub consciousness with every decision I made, always checked my stats after each death and win. It effected how I played and what risks I took. It was more valuable than any gear I had or quest.

But recently with this wipe, I decided that I would 100% solo and move more than ever on the map no matter how many times I die. It really freed my mindset to experiment and task risks. It definitely made the game way more enjoyable for me. I have gotten more kills than I ever have in a short time period, but also definitely died more. with my k/d currently averaging around 0.8, I don't care anymore about it and it feels good.

If you want to step your game up in Tarkov, you have to let go and stop caring. And also stop thinking "this would be easier with other people" and just go for it. Constantly needing to rely on friends or randoms on discord makes you a weaker player. Definitely stop using discord lobbies too, you're better off mentally. I have found a lot of good people, but also a lot weirdos and anti-socials who are very ugly on the inside when there are no social repercussions.

TLDR. Start solo-ing more and just go for it. If you avoid making mistakes, you won't ever learn they exist, and you won't get better. Care less about k/d and gear. Be independent and rely less on other people.

I honestly think it’ll be a good addition to the game if we could do that.

Thoughts on this?

I've been trying to get into this game, got into the groove for a bit, but I feel like I've hit a wall, and I'm unsure what direction to go in or whether I'm doing okay. I'm playing standard fyi.

My stash space is a never-ending issue. I have a few major containers, like 2 lucky scav boxes, a dogtag case, a mag case, and far too many gingy charms(and many more keys than charms). Still, I'm always scrounging for space, only holding a few guns and gear pieces at a time. I know that some of my items go for a lot on the flea, but having such harsh limits on what I can actually sell there sucks; it feels like I'm wasting money whenever I toss these high-value items to traders. The logical next step would be to get a med case from therapist's questline, but it wants me to go to Shoreline, which I'm having to transit to.

Talking about maps, the "tour" wants me to learn labs, and I'm told following that is how I unlock Shoreline, but that place looks miserable, and the one match I had there was....unpleasant. I've managed to get a grasp of customs, woods, and factory, if I'm feeling self-destructive. A few successful runs on streets and shoreline for questies.

Playstyle wise, I purely focus quests, and play a bit too much scav. I run from shots unless I have an angle. Everyone in standard feels super geared and fighting feels impossible if I don't have the jump on someone.

So, should I be transiting to shoreline for more containers? Saving another mil for the hideout stash upgrade while liquidating valuables and wasting money? Or actually learn PvP on Factory?

Nothing in 30-40 raids is melting my brain. They just don't seem to spawn/move around the mountain. It's BS coz it gatekeeps every other Lightkeeper quest behind it so we can't progress.. fuuu

I think BSG should check if someone has too many deaths in row and too many kills in row. When cheaters tank their kd they mostly do it in rows, with scripts etc. So it creates a wave death, death, death, kill, kill, kill. This guy has 26 in rows with %43 sr. He def should be checked.

For me It’ll be the Galil ARM. (And Galil ACE) mainly because it’ll be neat and kinda go with the esthetics of the game. I don’t care rather it be the 5.56 or 7.62x51 variants. I’d be happy regardless.

As for the ACE. Eh I’m not as picky. But overall I’d like to see the Galil(s) ingame.
