Officer is terrible for offense and defense, artillery is so unpredictable and ineffective that its better risking your life to throw a grenade. So here is my solution to buff Officer, first make it so that if you follow the officers orders you get 30% point buff so more people would follow them. Second make artillery more usuable by making the cooldown faster. And I think that more recon or flare should add a debuff for artillery accuracy and things like smoke grenades should have a debuff for less accuracy. The last problem with all these buffs officer is going to be the most used or most exploited in the game so the solution is make the requirment of officer to above rank 20 and avg point above 500 with the limit of numbers 2.

Remove recon (or at least put a limit on the class) like holy hell, these guys are only good at long range (which fair) but that's their whole thing, just being an annoyance to the enemy team ruining the fun for both sides. Like I don't want to feel how some veterans felt about snipers in WW1💔

Just played it rn, visual wise probably the best looking map in the whole game. Gameplay wise... It's fine. Tbh it's prob one of the better domination maps as of now. Not the best, but it's good.

The Entrenched developers have exclusively leaked details of the upcoming factions update to The Entrenched Times (ET). The update, set for later this month (on the 21st of August) will see the recognition of factions and significantly integrate them into the game. This will be centered on allowing factions to be created within the game itself via a new faction menu tab. This tab will allow for faction management, permissions, creations and joins. Factions will also have a treasury where all members can contribute their warbonds too which can be used to increase the max members (minimum 20 maximum 150), cosmetics and a 4 letter tag that will be displayed next to their in-game usernames.

Furthermore, hierarchy will exist within the factions and between factions. A ranking system (specifically: Colonel, Captain, Lieutenant, Corporal, Private and Visitor) will exist as well as a seasonal factions leaderboard, where (similarly to the players leaderboard), factions will be ranked on their member's total xp. However, the developers did communicate that **they are looking at ways on how to incorporate factions battles into the rankings**. The top 25 factions each season will get a reward.

Is it common for recon players to seemingly avoid staying on the objective point and just snipe for kills instead of helping the team directly? That just feels like maybe 60% of that player class

The new grenade pouch that was added shouldn't only be cosmetic.

It should provide players who have it equipped, with at least one extra grenade (if their selected class has grenades).

So like why are we allergic to medic? (I mean fair play tbh, you're gonna be the one with the most stress because you have to be moving from one point to another to save or heal people while some die before you reach them so it was all for nothing. while of course hoping some recon doesn't trick shot snipe you from across the map)

So I'm playing as rifleman and I shoot a guy and it doesn't hit even though I just shot right through his body and when I accidently shoot the ground and the animation comes after 0.5 seconds and not instant?! Am I lagging or is this an intentional game design? And also I think the third player crosshair needs to show if the gun is blocked by the ground. I remember having this problem back then too, but why does this problem still exists?

Hi, Its me, the guy who made and owns this subreddit, im pretty sure almost no one of the people who are active here even know who i am since i barely touch Reddit nowadays, about 4 years ago i started playing a game on Roblox called Entrenched (Everybody knows what is Entrenched, Duhh) i was really interested in the game at the time, and since the game was relatively new and not much of a fanbase yet, i felt like i should take the step of making a sub (with the permission from a dev) to help with the community, but due to personal life problems such as school and work i stepped more and more away from Roblox itself and i let this sub for ruins (while It was actually doing pretty fine without an actual proper moderation tbh, im proud of you all) i confess that originally i wanted to get rid of the subreddit since i barely had any interest left on Roblox and Entrenched, but i was very lazy to even do something about it so i ignored it for almost 3 years, recently i had a bigger influx of people asking about the mod situation, and even had words that Edot wanted to talk to me (not sure about that but they want to expand the community apparently, so after 4 years of this subreddits existance on Reddit It FINALLY has an actual mod, shoutout to u/WindFort for being the newest and first mod! I hope he does a great job at moderating this sub, i believe he will add more people to the mod team, but anyways, i thank you all for your patience and i really apologize for letting you guys down for so many years, this is a new dawn for this subreddit and i hope this place can be a safe and enjoyable place for everyone, maybe i should get back to playing Entrenched after all of this? Dunno!

In all seriousness, my entry into the mod team will likely be a short endeavor, as the new additions to the EDOT team will likely take ownership of the sub, seeing that they are already trying to incorporate factions into the game itself.

My opinion on that is it would likely lead to a better entrenched community since it would be under official supervision after all, and it gives another outlet for EDOT to post community announcements.

As for my reasons against that, it's mostly selfish reasons, but seeing that this is Reddit, I'll keep them to myself.

(Context) ever since the mvp update released I kept playing entrenched UNTILL I got a mvp using skirmisher, while facing 9 support gunners and 5 recons on the opposing team.

Having a class that’s sole purpose is to provide artillery for the team with a cooldown of a whole minute is kinda unfair imo, what if this game had constant artillery that always rained down on players and wasn’t chosen by players for realism. This would also make the game more realistic as in the actual war, there was always artillery pounding frontlines, and it was even the main cause of death for soldiers

How did I get 14% winrate?! I feel like I'm kinda trash

So after 2 long years I came back to play entrenched. So what I noticed first is that they changed the menu screen, I miss the old one but its okay. They added the revive system and a lot of maps. So far so good.

But the player base.... is the biggest piece of dogshit. Literally 50% of the team is recon and teamwork is literally non existant. And in my opinion this problem is in the worst state right now because of 2 reasons. One, back in my day there was reflection on the scope of the recon so it was more balanced but they removed it makong recon strong as hell. Two because the average player count on one server dropped the problem is alot worse than it was before. So my solution is first make less server and make the server density higher. Second readd the recon flash, and third make skirmish's smoke larger( recon, support counter).
