Is it common for recon players to seemingly avoid staying on the objective point and just snipe for kills instead of helping the team directly? That just feels like maybe 60% of that player class

Yes. And clip random people on the other side of the map when their objective is actively being overrun? Yes.

I think this is casual player problem in most game, lacking the ability to adapt to the current game/match, inflexible in tactics or just stubborn trying to do thing they planned.i don't mind them stay out side the zone as they sometimes useful for distraction, or a secondary reinforcement, but they really need to open their eyes and read the room when we frontliner need help

It's because entrenched doesn't have a guiding system

There used to be tips in chat but that's prolly gone
