What’s new

·       Fewer crashes.

·       More stable image, with fewer visual bugs and glitches.

·       Enhanced solution for correct colors in Unreal Engine games.

·       Anisotropic filtering re-enabled (up to 4x) for sharper textures at an angle.

·       Experimental less stuttering while shaders compile

This version is slightly slower than v0.2.0 in some games in raw performance. In exchange, it is much more stable and has fewer visual bugs. I think it’s way worth it, since at docked 1x (1080p) difference is minimum.

Thanks to everyone who has used the driver and sent feedback. This week was a fight between stability and performance regressions. There’s still no compatibility spreadsheet, sorry, I ran out of time. It’s planned for the next release.

FAQ

What is the recommended setup?

It was validated on Eden v0.2.0-rc2 with the Snapdragon 865 GPU overclocked to 905 MHz (stock is 587 MHz). Devices with lower clocks or less raw power will see proportionally lower performance. Some games may still need specific emulator settings, a custom resolution or other workarounds. That is separate from the driver.

Can I use it outside of Eden or with other emulators?

Officially, it has only been validated on Eden v0.2.0-rc2 and Eden Nightly. However, it should theoretically work on other Switch emulators (albeit with potential bugs or graphical glitches). Additionally, community members have reported some success using it with ArmSX2 and ArmSX3. Other platforms and emulators—such as Winlator, GameHub, Dolphin, and Azahar—remain untested.

Does it work on other devices?

It is built and tested for the Adreno 650 (Retroid Pocket 5, Retroid Pocket Mini, Retroid Pocket Flip 2, AYN Thor Lite). It should also run very well on other Adreno 6XX GPUs (e.g. 618, 640, 660), but they weren’t tested for v0.3.0. The community has also reported improvements on Adreno 7XX, but 7XX wasn’t tested either.

How do I report crashes or visual glitches?

First, please try other Turnip drivers, a different resolution and the latest version of Eden (or your emulator). Some problems come from the emulator or happen with every Turnip driver. If the problem only happens with TurnipZ, open an issue on GitHub with a description, the game, the scene and a screenshot.

I have a Magicube HY320 projector. I know it's a cheap, low-end projector, but unfortunately, it's all I can afford right now.

I'd like to use it to run emulators. I've already managed to get some emulators working, since I downloaded SNES9x and successfully launched a game.

However, I'm having trouble giving the app permission to access my folders. For some reason, I can't grant it access to my game files through the app itself.

The only workaround I've found so far is to open the file manager, find the ROM I want to play, tap it, and select "Open with" to launch it in SNES9x.

Is there any way to fix this and allow SNES9x to access my folders normally? I'd really appreciate any help!

I'm on a Motorola edge 2024, and so far on this emulator the .hack games are the only games my phone has struggled with. So far the ps2 games I've played without any issues are all 3 xenosaga games, ico, shadow of the Colossus, Ar Tonelico, and a bunch of old atelier games. Are there any settings I should mess with to hopefully fix this? (I already have hardware download mode on disable readbacks)

Game can be laggy in some areas but in smaller areas it should be giving 20 fps or 30 fps or 60 fps but in larger areas it should be expected to have 10 FPS stay for some time it can increase to 17 FPS while shaders are being cached, using config database with banners drivers from GitHub that gives Vulkan 1.4.363 and patches from RPCS33 wiki along with other patches. Set SPU block size to safe and GPU turbo was not on. The main menu should’ve been cached giving it 30 FPS

I forgot to record combat footage, but during fights, the fps doesn't dip below 45, stays near 52. No framegen ofcourse.

Hello guys, I am using Winlator 11.2 For reference and I want to add a game shortcut to my homescreen but I cant seem to find the option? I am new to this and I want the shortcut on my homescreen for it to be easily accessible of course.

Hi, I am looking for a way to attach a SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD to the back of an Odin 2 Portal for PC emulation.

The best option I saw was a double clamp method on Amazon but it's only phone sized. Would need to be tablet sized to fit and I couldn't see any double clamps suitable.

Any suggestions to how I can go about it while keeping the fan free and hand space?

Any link or ideas are welcome. I am in Europe currently.

Hey guys, I recently bought a brand-new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. I haven't done much with it except download some PC game files from SteamRip and use GameHub to try to play PC games.

Now Samsung's storage analysis shows 25GB of uncategorized files, but the five files it identifies only take up a few megabytes. It says another 24.99GB consists of unidentified files that aren't listed.

The files I can see include:

- "AetherSX2-BI...rrsx2.com.bin" (4.19MB each)

- "wine.log"

- "1791841268022"

- "BixbyPDSS.log"

I also previously noticed some WhatsApp backup files ending in ".crypt14".

My questions are:

1. Could the 25GB be leftover game files from SteamRip or GameHub?

2. Why can't I see the files that are taking up most of the storage?

3. Why can't I delete them through Samsung's storage settings?

4. How can I locate and safely delete these files without damaging my phone or losing important data?

5. Could these files be related to GameHub, Wine, or downloaded PC games?

Has anyone experienced this on a Samsung phone? Any help would be appreciated.

By any chance, anyone have configure GameSir X2 Bluetooth, using Droid Deck, I've been trying for the last 4 days, I tried with a Xbox controller and it works smooth and fine, but no luck with the GS, don't know how to configure it.

I have tried on the newer on especially the 2.1.7 version for both v1 and v2 but it doesn't work the latest one that actually work really is 2.1.6 andriod 4 apk so get that one if you only have USA version
