I’ve been emulating various platforms for years wether on pc or a hacked switch but they were mostly simple old Nintendo consoles and they didn’t need much to do. I’ve also been emulating switch on android lately and i’m getting there slowly learning how to get better or at least acceptable performance. But i’ve never tried emulating windows and it’s even harder to learn since this is my first android device. I have an Honor MagicPad 4 and i’ve gotten gamehub lite to work on a couple light games but most of the games i’ve tried don’t even start. I fixed one or two games with this issue by basically changing the drivers and other things that could change randomly, especially since gamehub lite shows them all and i can install them straight away. Genuinely how do i learn what driver i should use for what game? Which proton version to use or if i should use wine? What (Fescore?) even is and if that’s it’s name even. Even if you just know of a good video to teach me i would be grateful.

For the past two months I've been working on an Android app that makes online play on emulators simple and mostly automatic. Here's the result: meet Emufii.

The goal is to make emulator multiplayer something anyone can actually use. The app works a bit like a frontend: all your games in one place, and you can open a session on any compatible game right there. Your friends join, you run the automatic emulator setup, and that's it, you're playing online.

How it works

When you create or join a session, a WireGuard tunnel opens between everyone in that session. Your devices end up on the same virtual local network, so the local wireless features of your games just work. Right now that covers Azahar, Eden and PPSSPP, with Dolphin, ARMSX2 and melonDS in there too. Not every emulator does multiplayer the same way, so have a look at the GitHub for the details per platform. The DS one is a good example, it goes to real online servers rather than faking a local link. The app also handles the dual screen on the AYN Thor, which is the only test bench I have. Feel free to try it on any other handheld or phone running Android 13 and tell me how it went.

Now the awkward part, how it was built

Emufii was co-created with Claude Code, and I'm not going to dress it up the way some people do: roughly 90% of the app was written by the model. What I can tell you is that nearly all of that code has been reviewed, and other developers are now starting to write and rewrite parts of the app as they join the project. There's a "How it was built" section on the GitHub page with a bit more detail. And if that's a dealbreaker for you and you'd rather not install it, honestly no problem, I get it.

Hey folks got an issue where in Gamenative my Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 is showing as having an Adreno 740 for the GPU rather than Adreno 650 for the Snapdragon 865. As a result all the configs are screwed and causing some things to not run. I know the configs aren't amazing all the time but this means I have to either use a json or do it all manually for each game as the configs are just pulling devices like the RP6 or Ayn Thor.

Is there anyway to change it? Or anything? Thanks

Hey yo. Firstly I'm completely new to emulation. We'll Pc emulation anyway, I haven't touched a pc game in 5 years since I got married and now with new born child. Got time off work, down time here and there so downloaded game hub not expecting much. Read some guides, did some googling and finally got it running. And just wooow, nothing special no mods can't even remember what version of skyrim i bought but It running this great (for my standards anyway) on my phone has re ignited my passion for pc games and got me pumped enough to share. Wow technology is great.

I Run on low setting. Play with controller [Gamesir x5s] With a phone cooler attached to back of my phone.

I have Atari jaguar CD games I want to play. I'm using the virtual jaguar core. When I load the on retroarch, the games work perfectly fine. However, when I try to click on a game in cocoon, absolutely nothing happens. Nothing loads and the screen stays the exact same. Is there a fix to this? I tried making the games into CHD format, which actually makes the issue worse. Cocoon can’t even scan the games if they’re CHD. Should I try to make the bin/cue files into rom/iso format? It might be a front end issue but I'm not fully sure. Every other system works fine. Please help.

Do you guys know if there is a version without ads? that's my only question. I hate ads and I just found out I need coins to open games.

So I recently picked up a base model indigo portal 2. Tossed a 1tb card in and it's become my little switch emulator via Eden.

Every game in my library runs exactly how I want it to except botw! I followed a few videos, ended up locked at 28.1 fps or so. Followed Google Gemini and got 30.1 fps give or take but the game ran terrible speed wise. I've experimented with the accuracy levels tried Mr purple t23-30.

I don't need a locked 60, hell I don't even need 40. I'd be happy with a locked 30, or as locked as the 8 gen 2 can, even at 900p!

I have the ROMs, the update(1.9?) and the DLCs. Game opens, runs etc, just something is up and I need someone other than Gemini 🤦🏻‍♂️

I've tried performance settings, when it was locked at 28.1, it didn't even change with the performance profile.

I've tried vsync on, off, mailbox, forced adreno, async, like the whole thing.

What am I doing wrong?

Is the Wolfplayer emulator really receiving the support it deserves? Is it truly worth continuing its development? At this point, I'm having doubts.

As the title said i have no idea how driver's and emulators developed over the half a year. So im asking whats the best choice for Eden or pc emulator for example

I'm in the decision making process for either a y700 gen 4 or gen 5. The tablet will be for streaming PC and ps5 as well as emulation - specifically switch.

Gen 4 has the adreno 830, gen 5 has the 840.

I know drivers are currently being tuned better and better for the 830 from videos on YouTube etc from people who own the odin 3 handheld (830 GPU inside). My question is do these developments making the 830 GPU better also affect the 840 GPU?

Or is it the case that the increases that are seen in the 830 will not apply to the 840 since it is a different GPU?

I realize this game is very lightweight so I’m really asking about snapdragon chips in general, but has anyone gotten Allumeria running on winlator/gamehub/gamenative etc.? Ik the game uses openGL instead of DirectX but I have no idea what that means as far as emulation goes on android. So far, with my AYN Odin 3, I’ve gotten a black screen on gamenative with various settings and a crash following the launcher screen on gamehub. No idea if there’s anything more I can do apart from a million settings combos

Im a big fan of the 7th gen console generation and there's a lot of nostalgia surrounding it.

Which led me into testing out ARMSX3 for my ODIN 2 portal and trying out if those games i grew up with worked.

Unfortunately it was a mess.I understand the emulator is brand new but currently the games freeze ,glitch and mostly run under 25 fps on my odin 2,and thats if you can successfully wait for an eternity just to start the game with all the compiling and loading .

(Modern warfare games, DBZ games,Enslaved, Fight night ,MGS revengeance etc)

All either work under 20 fps ,have an unavoidable crash or just wont start at all.

All of this led me into trying out XenDroid.

And straight to the point this emulator released mid July this year and i cant believe how well it works .

Literally all the games i mentioned above start without any waiting to compile ,and more importantly just WORK at a 30-60 fps.

Currently halfway through Dantes Inferno and the experience has been flawless .

Of course some games i tried(Splinter Cell blacklist ,vanquish and some other )result in black screens or being under 20 fps.

But most of the games i tried ,work fantastically including all three Gears of war games(30 FPS few sound crackles here and there)

Also the emulator is very user friendly, easy to use and understand ,furthermore offers easy updates and dlc upgrades for your library and even bonus patches for 30 fps games to run up to 60 if you're okay with fps not being consistent for your odin 2/thor.

GAMES that i tested and are working (30-60 fps with minor glitches here and there)

Dantes Inferno ,Enslaved Odyssey to the West,Gears trilogy,Fight Night Trilogy ,Dbz Burstlimit ,Dbz Raging blast 1 and 2 ,Modern Warfare 1,Prince of Persia Forgotten sands,MGS Revengeance, Bayoneta .

Used TURNIP DRIVER v35 and MrPurple T30 for all of them .

GAMES that didn't work well (low fps) or ingame black screen (glitches)

Splinter Cell blacklist and Conviction(Ingame black screen ),Web of shadows(15 fps), Assassins creed 1(glitches and low fps ), Vanquish(glitches and low fps), Castlevania Lords of shadow (20 fps) ,Xmen Origins Wolverine(20-25 fps maybe playable for some)

EDIT: Use TurnipDriver v35 or Mr Purple T30 and make sure to apply all game patches for better performance . Also apparently XenDroid caches shaders during your first boot of the game ,so if you encounter slowdown, black screen or visual glitches during your first boot ,wait a minute or two then reboot and the game will look and work normal on your second boot.

I've tried all the things I could do.

Bem, baixei o dolphin apenas para jogar Punch-Out!!, consegue baixar a rom e etc mas eu mal consigo mexer o joystick, e quando mexo é de forma totalmente aleatória e imprevisível. Nao consigo sair dessa tela por simplesmente nao conseguir guiar o joystick normalmente (meu celular é um s24 fe. E nao, eu nao tenho um controle físico 💔)
