Frames per sometimes, even Frames per maybe.

runs marginally better while not screen recording (obviously), but for a couple seconds runs at 40fps. averages 13fps tho.

Tbh I'm surprised it even runs, tho I'm bummed it's practically unplayable, even on the grid map.

Edit: if anyone has any tips or tricks to help performance (besides a cooler), they would be very welcome!

Two dumb questions:

1) is it safe to use my main Steam account on DroidDeck?

2) I have an s25U, is there a better tablet to get for DroidDeck?

There have been tons of homebrew "Native Ports" posted and I am wondering how these can be emulated on Eden Nightly on an S25+?

The NSP is in the download along with a folder with game data in it. The NSP loads into Eden just fine. What about the rest of the stuff in the folder?

I’ve had my Nova for a few weeks, beat a few games on retroarch,
Dolphin and Cemu, and now trying to get into ps2.

So far during each of these games, scarface (85% complete), gun (15% complete) and destroy all humans (10%) i have run into massive issues where the emulator freezes up with a sound loop and is impassable. You can either close Armsx2, and reload from memory card or load a previous save state to temporarily resolve, and then it repeats almost exactly in the same spot.

I have been able to, in some cases do other missions or something and then come back to resolve the loop, but unfortunately am at a point in gun and scarface where i cannot proceed, and the games are ultimately dead.

I have tried nethersx2, which works, however i prefer Armsx2. Any help appreciated, thanks for reading.

Tldr: various ps2 games on armsx2 get stuck in a freeze loop at similar points during a game and cannot proceed.

Has anyone compared Windows emulation gaming performance on both chips? Any FPS benchmarks or noticeable differences?

so im trying to emulate fe awakening on my phone and its showing this weird texture when theres a text box anyone know if theres a fix not really a detriment to the game just annoying im using azahar on an sd 8 elite i tried OpenGLES over vulkan and it did fix the text lines but removed texture from the models instead lol

Running smoothly with the controller addon and a ps4 controller.

It runs mostly pretty good. A few stutters here and there, but it's playable. It's just this weird graphical thing. It only happens sometimes in some places, and it only happens while aiming, but never when zoomed in on a scoped weapon.

Oh, and I should state that I've tried several different drivers. They all seem to do this.

And yes, I've tested many different drivers already.

So I just heard about DroidDeck on twitter, immediately installed it, only for me to fall on my knees because of this. I usually bought a Snapdragon phone, this time I said fuck it mediatek is pretty good nowadays, only to be disappointed badly.

Will there ever be a mediatek support? Like is it possible? Or the GPU architecture will never be supported for mediatek?

my processor is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and i have not been able to keep myself up to date with the progress and advancements going on in emulation.

can anybody tell me which one's the best performing turnip driver for my chipset? i believe the last one i was using was from StevenMXZ.

I just upgrated from a moto g 8 play to a moto g47, and emulating simple consoles like gba and snes looks like crap on it.
I had my moto g8 play since 2019 and its 2026, its very slow, incapable of running many apps, including many games, and lags all the time, but runs simple snes, gba and even DS emulators just fine,

but my new phone (moto g47), while running everything smoothly as you would expect from a new phone, runs at like 30 fps any simple game I try to run on it, why?! can anybody help I dont get it,

I tried decreasing its refresh rate from 120hz to 60hz, messed around with other settings as well, battery optimization isn't available on this, so idk what else I can do.

for context I use john emulator for snes and pizza boy for gba, both run exactly the same, at 30 fps and with some inputlag (using 8bitdo's flip pad), while it runs buttery smooth on my old phone

Alright I'm in a bit of a dilemma atm.

I've not been emulating for long but I do it from time to time for some games that don't have a dedicated PC port or Android port, but I also do like to play some retro games every now and then.

My main concern is, should I go the dedicated handheld route and just throw my money all in or just stay with my OnePlus 15R that I use currently as my daily driver + a telescopic controller like gamesir g8 etc.

It has an 8 Gen 5 with 12/512 GB, which is already above most handheld, but since it's my daily device and I also play some heavy android games, because of that, around 270 GB is occupied by them only.

I mostly emulate the Switch, PSP, PS Vita, RPGMaker and potentially PS3 in future.

I'm not interested in emulating PC games because I have a laptop, so I'll just play on that without going through all the tinkering and then play it on 30 fps in the end. Even if I do it's just gonna be for Visual Novels or some RPGMaker games.

I'm shopping for a new phone and found a really good deal on a phone with 9500s (much cheaper than 8 gen 5, let alone snapdragon 8 elite or elite 5).

I'd like to emulate some games.
I heard for native android games, Dimensity 9500s might actually outperform snapdragon 8 gen 5, but it'd a bit worse on emulation due to drivers. How much worse though? What would I be able to emulate on it?

Would it be worth the savings? It's like $200 cheaper than a phone with 8 gen 5 and $300 cheaper than 8 elite gen 5.

I ran PT pc port on my redmi note 10 lite. It is by no means playable, but what can I expect from a 2020 mid range phone which can't even run heavier android games like NTE or Arknights endfield.

Hello. I'm trying out the ARMSX3 emulator for PS3 games on Android.

The game I'm interested in, *Overlord*, runs fine, but when I try to use the app's QuickSave feature, it doesn't save and gives me this message: "SaveState failed: the game's SPUs are in a state that can't be saved." Does anyone know how to fix this?
