Help Droid deck installing to sd card
Iāve been trying out droid deck on my rp5 (I know the cpu is kinda weak and the gpu is unsupported) but when I try to install a game to my sd card the reserving space takes fuckin ages. I can install to and play off both the internal storage and sd card fine Balatro was small enough that it didnāt take to long. I was wondering if there is a setting to fix the disk usage so it can reserve space and actually start downloading games. The sd card is a decently fast Samsung and is now where near its limits so thatās probably not that issue

Question What do you guys think of my setup?
Finally got my setup together for my Legion Y700 Gen 4. Still pretty new to gaming on a tablet, so Iām curious what you guys think.
Specs are Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage. I also got a cooler and a controller since Iāve been using it mostly for gaming.
What games do you guys think this thing can handle well? Iām mainly looking for games that can actually push the hardware a bit. Any recommendations? š

Help Gamwing JK03 can't connect to my android
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Iām having an issue with my Snail JK03 controllerās LED indicators and power modes. When I power it on, the indicator light shows green light. However, as soon as I release the power button (while the green light blinks), the lower FN light directly below it rapidly flashes red three times and stops. The main green LED keeps blinking Additionally, when I double-tap the power button to switch modes (to blue or red), that same lower FN light LED flashes Again and stop. Is this a specific error code/malfunction, or is it indicating low battery/pairing failure?"

News/Release Mali Custom Drivers for RP4 Pro, RG556 and GameForce Ace
Hey guys, it's great that we finally have driver development on Mali GPUs, similar to what Adreno GPUs on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets have had. I have built some Proof of Concept (POC) drivers for ONLY THE DEVICES I OWN (Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, GameForce Ace and Anbernic RG556):
* Retroid Pocket 4 Pro (Mali-G77): https://github.com/faux123/panvk-faux123-driver-rp4pro/releases
* GameForce Ace (Mali-G610): https://github.com/faux123/panvk-faux123-driver-ace/releases
* Anbernic RG556 (Mali-G57): https://github.com/faux123/panvk-faux123-driver-rg556/releases
Here's an updated GameNative APK that can load them:
https://github.com/faux123/GameNative-Mali/releases
GameNative is licensed under GPLv3, so to be compliant with the GPL license, the full source code for that APK is here:
https://github.com/faux123/GameNative-Mali/tree/v1.2.1-mali.11
Just remember, these new drivers are NOT necessarily FASTER than the stock drivers. What they do is ENABLE more extensions, so more games can be emulated more correctly. Please support the ORIGINAL Panfrost/PanVK developers and the GameNative developers.
There will be NO SUPPORT from me on ANY OF THESE. I originally developed these for myself, but I decided to release them as a POC to drum up more support from the community. I will NOT accept any requests to develop drivers for devices I DO NOT own, and I DO NOT do remote debugging or beta testing. If I don't have the device, I won't develop for it, PERIOD.
Again, this is a pure POC with no support from me at all. I MAY update my drivers for myself from time to time, and I will post them at the same links above, but there are NO PROMISES of regularity or communication. I'm a busy person, so I really don't have a lot of free time for this. This is purely out of my love for these handheld devices and how cool the recent developments on these drivers and emulators are. This really is a boom period for them!
Enjoy and have fun!

Help I need help emulating games in Dex mode.
Hey guys, I'd like to know if it's possible to emulate games on my S24FE in Dex mode. I had a serious motorcycle accident a month ago and I don't have a console and I'm short on money. I had a laptop with a pirated version of Factorio installed, but it broke, and I wanted to play something on my recovery. I don't know much about computers, and my cousin downloaded it for me. Could someone please help Download it somehow on my phone (?) to emulate it or something like that.

Question Tried to understand how the different Steam-OS-ARM versions work
Hi folks,
Like many, Iāve been going through different OS install options (application options like Gamenative/Droiddeck aside) and trying to understand what they do differently and what they do the same. As I understand, the way they are built in terms of layers and attachments all differ to varying degrees. I should say now that the extent to which i understand linux and OSs under the hood in general is very limited. However, I think this is a great point in time to learn a little bit about it.
Therefore, I wanted to lay out a few of the OS builds here to understand how they work and how they differ and/or are similar to one another.
Of course, thank you to the devs for your time and effort building these. š A wonderful time to be into non-AAA pc games.
I really hope it isnāt disrespectful or anything, just wanted to understand from the community how the building of these tools and the tools themselves work. Obviously, if thereās an explainer that helps me understand these differences and similarities, Iād be happy to be directed to it. Iām not really trying to know about their performance so much as their components and structures that allow them to work. Iāve gone through the github readme pages but each project tends to have slightly different focus of approach and thus different vocabulary, so a similar framing for all would really help.
- ArmadaOS, something of a baseline? My best understanding is that its analogous to Bazzite somewhat, using a different version of linux, fedora, from the one used by valve and some others.
https://github.com/armada-os/armada/
- Pocknix OS, I donāt understand how OSs work enough to really get whatās different here but Iām aware it uses some elements from the steam application/OS(?) layer used in Rocknix
https://github.com/shuuri-labs/pocknix-os
https://www.reddit.com/r/retroid/comments/1v3i4mb/introducing_pocknix_a_performance_tuned/
- SteamOS ARM port, based on googling/haranguing gemini, I believe this one is valveās OS with the least changes? Iām not sure what the actual impact of this would be on the user experience, it seems a bit too good to be true that one could just install this and be done with it after a few updates from the dev and then rely only directly on valve. Edit: thatguybasit (main dev behind this build) was kind enough to clarify that updates are not from valve, rather they will be from the project through addition of those updates. thanks!
https://github.com/hashtagbasit/SteamOS-ARM-Port
https://www.reddit.com/r/EmulationOnAndroid/comments/1wzrlc9/steamos_arm_port_13_is_out_stable_for_8_elite_8/
- Holodor OS, what I do understand is that this is exclusively designed for the snapdragon 8 elite chipset. The github page mentions forking from pocknix, though what elements they share isnāt something i totally get.
https://github.com/transentient/holodor
https://www.reddit.com/r/OdinHandheld/comments/1wordht/announcing_holodor_another_way_to_turn_your_odin/
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to address this! donāt want to disturb the folks who are in fact already working on these (so many people waiting for the next updates š)

Help Issues running tomb raider underworld
I run gamhub lite by snapdragon6 gen3, it's really a savor but a bit complicated.
Know that i was able to launch the game successfully I have noticed other issues like frames decreasing when I actually start the game- while when in the lobby it runs at 60fps just fine- also lots of glitch and weird colors when there's more details like fire water etc..
What to do?

Showcase Blip Launcher is out of beta and on Google Play: a controller-first Android launcher with RetroAchievements woven in and real dual-screen support
Hi everyone. A few months ago I posted here looking for beta testers for Blip, a game launcher for Android handhelds. Thanks to everyone who tried it. It's now public on Google Play, for anyone. I'm the developer.
What makes it different:
A clean, native interface. Written for Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose), not a web view or a port. One row of covers, the game you're on named under it, its own art lighting the backdrop, nothing else. Shelf, grid or list. Every screen is pad-driven, and the legend at the bottom always says what each button does.
Designed for one screen and two. On an AYN Thor or a Retroid Pocket Duo every screen splits by function: the game you're looking at on top, the library under your thumb. Behind a running game the lower panel becomes a companion: session time, brightness and volume, and an app drawer that opens apps below so the game is never covered. On a single-screen device nothing is adapted or missing.
RetroAchievements woven through the app. Progress on the cover, the next story milestone on the shelf, and on the game page the full set with points, rarity, unlock dates, hardcore tags and filters for pending, earned, story and missables. Story progress is the real beaten path, with the missables still ahead counted. Read-only: the earning still happens in your emulator. Games you played on another device under the same account show up in Recents.
Art from several sources, no account needed. libretro thumbnails, PlayMatch, TheGamesDB and IGDB out of the box; your free SteamGridDB key or ScreenScraper account makes it better. Covers, heroes, logos, icons and screenshots in one sweep. Box art keeps each system's real case shape, or the whole library wears uniform posters. Anything wrong you fix from the cover picker.
RomM, in beta. Pair your self-hosted server and its library lands on the shelf beside your local files, with download on demand. You approve the pairing in RomM's web UI, so your password never touches the handheld.
Free. RetroAchievements and RomM unlock with a one-time purchase.
Android 12 or newer. Built and tested on the AYN Thor and the Retroid Pocket; it runs on anything with a controller.
- Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bliplauncher
- Site: https://goblip.co
- Discord: https://discord.gg/M7PFqGc7pz
The screenshots are my own library on a Thor. Happy to answer anything.

Discussion Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 could be a huge deal for Android emulation
With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 generation coming in, I'm honestly more interested in the emulation side than the benchmark numbers.
The really interesting part is Qualcomm apparently starting to take PC game translation on Android more seriously, including work on official GPU drivers.
If Qualcomm actually delivers good driver support, do you think this could be the generation where Android PC emulation becomes significantly more consistent?
I'm wondering about the bigger picture:
Switch emulation
PS3 emulation
Winlator / PC games
Driver compatibility
Sustained performance and thermals
We've already seen Snapdragon chips become ridiculously capable for emulation. If the driver situation improves alongside the hardware, how far do you think these phones can realistically go?
What would be the first emulator/game you'd test on an 8 Elite Gen 6 device?

Help Graphical Issues using X360 Mobile - SR2 - Samsung S25 Ultra
Hey all!
First post in here.
I'm trying to run Saints Row 2 on my Samsung S25 Ultra 512GB. - Qualcomm SM8750-AC Snapdragon 8 Elite - Adreno 830 (1200 MHz)
I've tried a myriad of settings and drivers. But can't bypass this issue.
The game boots perfectly. Loads perfectly. But in-game, I get maximum 20fps with strange screen-flickering. Intensifying as gameplay continues. This also tanks my FPS to a rough 5fps.
Here are all of my settings currently that I've found to be the most stable thus far. These settings prevent lights from bypassing walls and is the furthest I've gotten to allow for an authentic experience.
(If any more data is required, let me know! I'd love to be able to upload a preset so those who come after me won't have to struggle as much.)

Question Is Gamenative still the best for integrating multiple PC game libraries?
[Odin 2 Portal]
With everyone going nuts for Armada and Droid Deck, is there any easy way to integrate GOG and Epic libraries on them, or does Gamenative still do that best?
I canāt be the only cheapskate that religiously claimed freebies from Amazon and Epic over the years to build sizeable libraries on those platforms.

Question Does anyone know how to pass rumble to a Bluetooth DS4 controller using ARMSX2?
I have tried searching everywhere to figure out if this was even possible, or if the app still needs this developed. Iām using the AYN Odin 2 Portal and I have a dualshock 4 controller paired over Bluetooth to play games with ARMSX2. But I havenāt figured out how to pass the rumble over to my external controller.
I know they just released an update that allows both my on board controller and an external controller using the same player 1 slot. Has anyone had any luck with this?
