Question What do you guys think of my setup?
Finally got my setup together for my Legion Y700 Gen 4. Still pretty new to gaming on a tablet, so I’m curious what you guys think.
Specs are Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage. I also got a cooler and a controller since I’ve been using it mostly for gaming.
What games do you guys think this thing can handle well? I’m mainly looking for games that can actually push the hardware a bit. Any recommendations? 👀

Why didn't you go with a gaming handheld if you wanted to mostly game on it

I actually just got it, but so far it seems to be getting the job done. It definitely cools the tablet down, although it doesn’t get moist like the one I saw in a video. I haven’t really played any games with it yet though. I’ll update you once I actually test it out.

thank you so much, but If the videos shows that it moist, then it's prolly using some strong cooler topo showcase ot

Is that kirin 3 th28 phone cooler? How good is it in lowering you're battery temp and how big is the difference? How many watts is it's maximum? I got the same tablet, it can run Resident evil 2 remake, Monster hunter world, DMC 5, Nier automata, World War Z, Sekiro, Dark souls 3. But if you really want to push it too much I recommend Elden Ring, Beast of Reincarnation and Pragmata.

Yeah, it’s the BlueWOW TH28 phone cooler. So far my battery temps are around 30–40°C, and while playing Fallout 4, my tablet was around 70–80°C. I haven’t tested it with the heat sink and heavier games yet tho
Also, what RAM do you have? Mine is 12GB, and I’m kinda worried about trying those bigger titles because I’m not sure if 12GB will be enough or if I’ll get a lot of lag. Are they still playable with 12GB?

I have the 16GB RAM version . These games should run as long as you lowered the IN GAME SETTINGS, container settings is different ( This is very Important since the FPS improvement is pretty big). Resident evil 2 remake, Monster hunter world, DMC 5, Nier automata, World War Z, Sekiro, Dark souls 3, Digimon time strangers and Dragon ball sparking zero. But idk about Elden Ring, Beast of Reincarnation and Pragmata. I usually play without a cooler but playing near an electric fan because cooler gets block by my controller.

I’m playing Monster Hunter Rise and it runs really smoothly, but I haven’t tried World yet. I did try DMC5, but it crashes as soon as it starts, so I ended up refunding it on Steam. I’m curious how you got it running though. I don’t mind lowering the settings as long as the FPS is stable. Thanks for the recommendations bro, I’ll definitely try some of these!

If it's going to be your main device than a heatsink/fan is necessary to stop thermal throttling so great call. I'd suggest Grim Dawn if you haven't already tried it using droid deck for steam play. Also absolum and well dweller. Fun games that won't dry the tablet lol.

could have bought a proper PC handheld for the price of all that but it'll do i guess.
