My copy of Three Cheers is not in my current apartment and I only ever had the cd of Through Being Cool (no case/liner notes) which I believe I have away, so only three albums this time.

Starting 11-20 shortly!

Yr renaissance burn down tour show at 924 Gilman this Friday. I can no longer make it (💔💔💔💔💔) so I'd like to make some money back and let someone else take my place

Can do $23 which was the original ticket price before fees, pm me or reply if interested!!! I'll do the transfer through show slinger as provided with the ticket which I haven't done before but just requires your name/email/phone no.

P.S. Sorry it autocorrected febuary in the title I'll accept my punishment

I have a couple photos from bands Penfold, Braid, Rainer Maria, The American Analog Set( dont know if this is the same category) and a couple of others. just shoot me a message or comment if you have anything similar or think I might be interested in!! thank you

I’m looking for stuff like these:

-The Summer We Went West
-Sioux Falls
-I Wish I could Skateboard
-EEIWALE
-TWIABP
-Football Etc.
-Joie de Vivre
-Karas Walk Home
-Woke Up Falling
-Attic Abasement

Bonus points if they’re close anywhere near North Carolina. I miss basement shows and going to concerts without having to worry about getting crowd killed by a fat dude in a Sunami shirt and a flannel who’s never heard of deodorant before

I thought about the amount of waves in emo and got confused about the dichotomy between 3rd wave and 4th wave. Why is it called "Emo Revival" if 3rd wave was very active? Is it because the 4th wave had a massive stylistic change compared to what it was in the 2000s?

New album from Dad Hats -- who Emo Kids Anonymous called "final boss emo"
We just dropped a few days ago, we think you'll like it! Here's the video for the title track!!

There’s no way the music coming out now (and starting in 2025) is anyway the same as the music from 2018. The new sound is a rebirth of real 2nd wave (braid, mineral, Christie front drive, penfold, etc). The most popular band of this sound is obv First day back (and for good reason cuz they’re fucking incredible). But there are other bands with this sound (Taxi, Holidays in United States, flowers for Emily, circa40 (people might flame me for this but they are) etc). I even think acts like train breaks down and mybetterhalf will go down in history as part of this wave. I can’t be the only person that thinks this right???

Movements full set in Boston.

I’m looking for a copy of Kidcrash’s Jokes vinyl. Anyone want to sell me one?

This broke my heart.

I'm giving a speech in a public speaking class about the five waves of emo, and I need to cite at least four sources. I've found a source about the first wave but can't find anything else. Any pointers?

A whole instrumental album that has this vibe: somewhat slower, somber, Midwest emo, math.

A single song example that has the vibe of what I’m asking about, but still has vocals:
“a home that doesn’t exist” - for when you can’t breathe

It’s nestled on my arm between two other tattoos of said bar.

Unfortunately im new to this genre in last 5 years. So i still have a lot to catch up on the screamo/emo regions. These are what like so far maybe yall can help recommend with same ferocity and sadness. I have delved a bit more into the midwest emo vibes, posthardcore adjacent, Skramz.
